Yeah. Moved to a new apartment. We rode in the car for 6 hours. Then had movers bring in furniture and boxes. I lived under the bed for a couple of months. Really. Lived under the bed. Refused to come out except to go to the bathroom (litter box was in the bathroom). I graduated to creeping out from under the bed after mom was home from work for awhile. But I ran under the bed if I heard the slightest noise. Then I would come out during the day, but run under the bed when mom got home, and eventually come out. FINALLY, I got to where I would stay out during the day, AND stay out when mom came home, and when I heard noises. That process only took about 6, 7, 8 months? Yup. I'm a little cautious. Or neurotic. Either way. I'm good now. Me and Sash.

Yes, that's what they call it. More like torture.
One morning, Mom and Dad wouldn't feed us breakfast. Then, Mom herded Sasha into a box-thing with a wire mesh front - he was trapped! But then they turned on me! I wasn't prepared, and they caught me and shoved me into a little soft-sided bag-thing. But I had an accident... Pee... So then Mom tried to get the bottom pad out of the bag-thing, and I bolted out. Then they spent 10 minutes chasing me around the apartment before finally catching me again. Mom and Dad carried us to a monster, and we rode in its belly for awhile. Sasha puked all over his box. So, we got to the vet smelling like cat-pee and cat-puke. We both behaved when we got there, but sheesh. What the point was, I don't know. When we got home, I hid under the bed for two days. I wasn't going to chance it again! I'm still a bit wary of them. Who do they think they are, anyway?

I really felt special when I got on Catster and discovered I had been Cat of the Day. I was so sad that I missed it! But, I especially felt loved when I saw all of the kitties who left me messages, posts, rosettes, stars, special gifts and treats. I wanted to sincerely thank you all for thinking of me on my day in the spotlight.

Cole has tagged me for a KissMouse meme.
All you have to do is list in your diary five things that you would like for KissMouse.
Then tag and list five friends.
What I would like for Christmas from Sandy Claws:
1) That my toys will be fished out from beneath the sofas;
2) That I will get new mousies with tails on them;
3) That Sasha will get lots of treats and food, because he is ever so much happier when he's eating;
4) That the laser will never stop moving;
5) That I will become ever closer to my dearest Catster friends.
I tag -
Freddie Mac
Tiger Silverpaw
Jacques
Cheyanne
Sandy

Ha! I finally put a new video on my page! It’s me, of course, helping mom make the bed. I kept trying to straighten out those wrinkles on the sheet, but they just won’t flatten out! Then I saw that mom put a shoelace under the bedspread to distract me... I tried to get it out from under there, but I had trouble. So I went back to the sheets... Mom made a noise (trying to keep from laughing) while she was taping it; she thought I was being silly to try and smooth out all the wrinkles.
Purrs to all! And to all a good day!

I was tagged by my friend Gimli!!! :)
The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog.
1. I am a very small kitty; I only weigh 6 pounds, if that.
2. My favorite toy is my feather/ribbon on a short stick! I like it when mom/dad plays with me, but I can amuse myself too...
3. I like to walk on the balconey railing, balancing precariously.
4. I was found on the side of the road, all by myself, in the beginning of December.
5. I am all black, but I have scattered white hairs all over.
6. I love to sleep in between mom and dad, or in between their legs.
7. I have the smallest little meow to go with my small little body; I meow before dinner because Sasha meows for food, but I'm quiet otherwise.
Now I tag these 7 cats:
Tess
Winnie and Chester
Felix (Leopardpaw)
Big Sig (Whitewhisker)
Kramer (Sunpaw)
Jesse James
Tigger
This was a lot of fun! So Sorry if I tagged you and you've already been tagged!

We're back! We finally got a replacement computer for home, so we can catch up on all things Catster! We missed you cats!!!
Not much has actually happened or changed... We got this new sofa cover that I've been busy snagging with my little claws. Mom and Dad snip them, but I can still pull the stitching out ok. :) They moved my favorite pillow over next to the window so I can sleep in the sun during the day...
Um, what else... Mom's been busy with "feral cats" whoever they are. She goes to take care of them, she says, then she comes back smelling weird, mostly like food. She says that there are 5 black kitties in this one colony, 4 who look sort of like me, but they're bigger. I guess it's ok if she feeds them, as long as she still plays with me!!
Meow meow friends, it's good to be back!

So, we haven't been playing on Catster much lately, because Mom has been working out of town, and Dad won't let us play on the computer at all. This week it's going to be even worse, because she'll be out of town, and on the night shift! Yuck! In any case, we miss everycat here so much, and can't wait until she's back home all the time for us to play.
Forgive us if we seem like we're ignoring everycat, but we just can't get on the computer!
Meows and purrs...

Who could have given me my pretty little rainbow? I have an idea, but, not sure... Whoever it was, thank you!
Wow, there's another one! A pretty pink ribbon! I have a secret admirer? Who knew? Thank you!
The Social Cats banquet was a real blast - many thanks to Truman and friends for setting it all up and for making it so lovely! I had so much fun dancing! Especially to Stray Cat Strut!

So, the other day, Mom brought this funky looking thing into the house, kind of like a bag, but with see-through sides. She opened it, it opened on the side, and left it that way for a day or so. She put a blanket in the bottom, and tried to entice me inside of it (didn't work). Then, one afternoon she came home earlier than usual and stuffed me into the bag!! I tried to get out, but I couldn't. We got into the "car" and rode to the vet. Oh goody for me.
The last time I went to the vet, I was only a tiny baby, I only weighed a pound and a half. I was SO well behaved, I really surprised Mommy. I only gave two little mews the whole way there.
When we went into the exam room and Dr. Tom unzipped the bag I was in... I slowly stepped out onto the table. I checked out the room we were in, didn't look like I could escape at first glance. Dr. Tom picked me up and said, "You're so little" - just like Mom and Dad always say. He put me down on this really cold hard thing, then put me back on the table near Mom. He said that I weigh 5.7 pounds! That's tons more than 1 pound, at my very first check-up! He poked me for a few minutes, and put this round thing on my chest.
I saw my chance - I lept down to the ground, and started sniffing the room, looking for a way out, of course. But then Dr. Tom picked me back up, put me on the table, and poked me twice with really sharp needles. Mom said they'll keep me healthy, but I don't know, it hurt!
Then Dr. Tom put me back in the bag, and we were done! I got a little mousie out of the whole ordeal, so that was nice. Overall, I did great! Mom is very proud of me. I'm such a good little princess bambi.
