Happy Holidays

Sorry I haven't written, but its been very busy getting ready for the holidays in the new house. We have a tree in our living room!!! Mom's say's its 7 feet tall...not sure what that means but its BIG. For the first few days I waited for squirrels to come out but mom says there isn't any (I'm still not completely convinced). Then mom and dad put all these spakley things on the tree and lights and it looks really pretty...mom explained I can't play with the sparkly things and she also sprayed that smelly stuff on it so I stay away!! Just sit waiting for a bird or a squirrel...

And my new daddy told me tomorrow is my mom's birthday so I called Grandma and she sent mom a card for me...Mom loved it and gave me hugs and kisses! Now this Christmas thing is coming and some guy Santa who i plan to attach as soon as he walks in!! I can't let some guy walk in while mom & dad are sleeping!!?? I mean really! But if he has some cat nip toys I may let him, but I'll keep a look out to make sure he is good.

Well I'll try to write again real soon...if not I hope all my Furry Friends have a happy healthy holiday!!

OH Ps...My Moms friend adopted a doggy Molly and she is sick so she needs prayers..some kind of Parvo (sp?) thing, they had to report the shelter. But Molly is strong and getting better every day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! Well at least mom decided today was my birthday back when she found me. The doc figured I was born in July so my said why not the 4th since you celebrate that day anyway. I could do with out the big fireworks though...they scare me.

So everyone have some fun today and celebrate my b-day!!!

We have a new home..

Happy Thursday...So we moved into our new home and I have ta tell ya I was scared of all the new noises and sounds and smells that I stayed under the bed for the first three days! I would not come out for meowmy at all, but then hunger took over and I came out to eat. But I'm still a bit scared and Anthony is mad cause I keep jumping on the furniture and scratching it, I wanna be a good kitty but the urge just takes over and I do the bad stuff anyway. Meomy sprayed this stuff and it stunk for awhile but then I go back to doing the same bad things....I don't know what to do anymore but I'm getting better and I'm sure I'll love me new home soon.

I hate the VET!

OK so I had to go to the vet on Saturday because mom noticed I have a little bald spot on my hip/butt area. I have also had very dry skin and I’ve been sleeping more then normal. Well I was not a very good kitty at the vets because I hate that place. I flipped out and it took mom and this other guy with these big gloves to hold me down. Mommy said I turned into a Panther (apparently this is a BIG black kitty that lives in the wild). So they heard something in my lungs and took all these tests to make sure I’m ok. Moms worried but I am almost 7 now and sleeping is more important, but mom now has me worried something is wrong. The vet gave mom all this medicine for me, one I have to drink from a dropped thing and one is a spray for my dry skin and the other is a cream for the bald spot.

So I’ll keep you guys update on the results but they said it would be a couple of weeks.

Black Kitties unite!!

Black Kitties unite!! All the special kitties are BLACK kitties!! (Week, Day & Diary) I'm so proud...and heck we could all be family for all we know!

So things are about the same, Mom & Dad are doing better. They were really happy on Sunday when the Giants won some game, the idea of Giants scares me!! And Mom wanted to dress me up for the BIG game but I was simply not having it. Then I really thought dad was REALLY mad the way he was yelling at the noisy box thing but apparently this was a good thing to do during a football game, it means your having fun!? Mom says this is normal male behavior during a Football game...!!?? She said wait tell baseball season starts and daddy is yelling at the Yankees (who are they now??)....I will never ever figure out the humans! The only thing I find half way fun about this whole thing is we all like to play with little ballies....Well anyway....I hope everyone is having a Purry day!!!

Happy 2008!!!

Dear Friends, I'm so sorry I have not written in so long but my human family has had some really bad things happen in the last few months My Dad's brother became very very ill and went to the rainbow bridge and them my moms Auntie suddenly left us for the bridge also!! My mom and dad have been very sad and then my grandma (My Moms mom) fell right before Christmas and needed to have surgery cause she broke her arm and then something went wrong and she needed more surgery! See doctors are scary! So the holidays were good but not as fun as they usually are and although time has passed mom and dad are still very sad sometimes. So I have tried to be a very good loving kitty, well most of the time, mom caught me on the table the other day and she screamed so loud I was so scared I ran for the bedroom and didn't come out from under the bed for two hours!!!!! But all is well again I still gets all the lovin and smoochies I can handle from mom and dad still plays with me when I bring him my toys.

I hope all my friends are well and are home and warm and safe....!! Tell next time....

Mommy is VERY VERY Upset!

My Mommy came home from work yesterday SO UPSET, I have not seen her like this in a long time. It seems that she was reading the Daily News (we live in New Jersey) yesterday and under Pet Adoptions there was a picture of a doggie that caught her eye and the header read "Has one week to live"!!!! Can you believe this!!!

Mommy being and ALL animal lover that she is became so upset that this adoption would read this. So a co-worker, who also loves animals called and it seems the dog's family is moving and can't take him! He is a Golden Retriever mix and he is a 11yrs old and his name is Nikko. Mommy could not understand HOW a family could have a pet that sound's wonderful for 11 years and then simply want to KILL it because they are moving. So her co-worker has two very small children and a dog and a cat already but he is going to see Nikko on Saturday and hopefully take him. I was just checking out the Daily myself and Nikko's picture is still there but the header has changed. It now read Urgent!! Must find home within 1 week! (Its page 86 of the daily if anyone out these wants to give Nikko a home) me and Mommy live in a small apartment and can't have doggies. I'm not a doggie lover really but I saying my kitty prayers for Nikko!! I hope he finds an nice home soon!! If any of my Kitty friends know a way to help Nikko please do!!

HAPPY DAYS!!

Well Hallloween is almost here and as a black cat this is my holiday! Not that I'm bad or anything but I see so many cute things with balck kitties on them. And mommy puts out this cool scary stuff!!! I love it. The weather is chilly and the house is warm! I feel bad for the kitties that don't have forever homes I was almost one of them. I pray for all of them before I go to sleep.

OH and before I forget.....Mommy also told me I'm in a contest...(whatever that is) but I'm very excited over it. So if you wanna vote for me here is the link!

Mommy and Me’s 6th Anniversary!!!!

Today is Mommy and Me’s 6th anniversary!!!! This time sic years ago mommy took me off the mean streets, gave me love, a warm bed (hers he he) and my food bowl is always full of good stuff to eat.

Mommy woke up today and gave me hugs and kisses and even my favorite food to eat for breakfast (Fancy Feast Salmon!!!! Yummmmmyyyyyy!!!!) And she gave me some new toys we can play with when she gets home from work tonight (I tried some out already and they are fun). I am such a happy kitty….!! I tell ya I puuurrrreddd so hard and loud I even drooled on myself…it was a bit embarrassing at first but mommy just hugged me more!

I just wish I could get out to the stores and get something for mommy! Like a new toy for her to!! BUT I did find this poem on the internet for mommy so I hope she likes it….And I hope all my Kitty Friends have a great day!!!

Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-size bed is soft and deep...
I sleep right in the center groove
My human can hardly move!

I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight

Please remember 9/11

Hi everyone, I’m sorry I haven’t written in a long time but mommy has been so very busy. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Bad day 6 years ago and mommy always gets nervous and upset around this time so I am keeping real close and giving her lost of lovies. But then comes the 13th and its my and mommies special day. This is the day my mommy found me and took me home to love. Mommy says that I am the bright spot that god gave her to get her through all the bad stuff. So tomorrow I ask that all the kitties and even doggies around the world on Catster & Dogster say a little pray tomorrow for all that were lost on that terrible terrible day. And to look at your families and be very thankful to have each other. It is also a great day to “do a good deed” for someone else, even if it’s a simple smile or extra purr…you will make someone’s day just a little bit brighter.
