Hi everyone, hang on a second I need to sweep away the cobwebs and dust that has accumulated around my diary...........
Finally done, sorry about that. Mom is finally sitting down long enough to take dictation for a diary entry (good help is soo hard to find!).
We're all doing well at our house. Monster's Mom interviewed my Mom a few weeks ago for an article, so we'll let you know when it's available. I'm sure it must be an article about how wonderful, pretty and petite I am.
In other news, we're all on a moist food diet now. Because I'm extra special, I eat different food than Teebo and Rose, and I even get served on the 2nd floor instead of in the kitchen.

I know we haven't been around much the last few days, and probably won't be for the next few weeks, and we wanted to let you know why.
On Sunday, Dad discovered about 1/4 of an inch of water in our basement. Almost the entire basement floor was covered in water. Turns out that the big tube that heats our water was leaking.
Mom and Dad spent all day Sunday with the noisy wet/dry vac getting the water out and bringing up all the stuff from the basement into the garage.
On Monday, they finished cleaning up the water and we got a new water heating tube. We all ran when the guy came to install it.
Now, Mom and Dad are facing a garage full of stuff from the basement and they have decided that they might as well go through it and see what they want to keep.
I know we have been missing special days for our friends and we wanted to say how sorry we are, but that we are always thinking of all of our friends.
Sending you all lots of hugs, purrs and kisses until we're back on again full time.

WOW! Sending out big hugs and purrs to all of my friends for helping celebrate my 9th Birthday today!
We've been having a pretty low key day. I guess now that we're 9, we're allowed into the 2nd bedroom unsupervised so we all enjoyed a nap in the sunshine this afternoon.
I have one favor to ask of all of my angel friends. One of the FELV+ cats, Guy, from the Sanctuary where Mom and Dad volunteer crossed over to the Bridge earlier today. He looks a lot like Teebo. Could you all please welcome him to the Bridge and tell him that we will all miss seeing him at the sanctuary? Thank you in advance for welcoming this sweet boy to the Bridge.

Mom and Dad each have their own computer, but they are separated by a few bookcases. Last night, Mom went to go look at something on Dad's computer (she was gone like 2 minutes - tops).
In that short time frame I decided that Mom's chair was MY chair and just hopped up there and laid down. When Mom came back she was annoyed I was in her chair. I tried batting my green eyes at her in the hopes she would let me stay, but alas, I was removed from the chair.
Oh well, I can't be too mad. It finally cooled down enough that the windows are open again so I can sniff the night air.
Some more of my meowvalous friends stopped by to help me celebrate my DDP yesterday, so a big thank you to everyone who stopped by. If I missed anyone, blame my Mom.
Ginger stopped by with a pretty heart
The family of Hashbrown, Patches and Cali Ann added some more pink to my page with a pink ribbon.
Karma and family gave me a fun beach ball to play with. I can't wait to play some beach volleyball with Rose and Teebo!
I also got some great comments from Simon and Tony, Missy and Tully.

Wowsers! I'm a DDP today!!
I hope that some of my pals who haven't played lovebug tag will play. It's so much fun to play!!
When Mom and Dad got home I got to have some Fancy Feast. I had to share, but that's okay.
Big hugs and thank yous to everyone who stopped by to help me celebrate. If I left anyone out, it's all Mom's fault!
I got some lovely pictures to help me commemmorate my special day from TB and co, and also a picture from Patches on behalf of the Calico and Tortie Darlings group - I will post them shortly!
I got some lovely notes and comments from Gibbs and Family, Kibbles and Xena and family.
Hooch and crew stopped by with a pink ribbon that matches my page just purrfectly!
TB and Co. left me a yummy ice cream treat to keep me cool during this warm weather, the picture and a diary comment.
Tate, Mr. Cuppycake king himself stopped by with a beautiful red rose.
Colette and Family left me a great comment and a yummy slice of watermelon. It hit the spot while I waited for Mom and Dad to come home.

1. Meow! Are you a noisy kitty or a quiet kitty? I'm noisy if there's something I want or something I see. I have a wide range of meows and trills so Mom and Dad can usually figure out what I want.
2. Litterbox! Cover your business or let some other kitty cover? I'm pretty good about covering, but if I'm not happy I let everyone know by peeing outside the box.
3. Happy! Favorite Daily Routine?
Sleeping in the rocking chair or on the heated pad by Mom's computer chair (even when it's unplugged).
4. Hiss! Least Favorite Routine?
Having to wait to get food.
5. Ding-Dong! What do you think about visitors to your house?
I'm scared for about 5 minutes, then I run to see if it's someone to give me attention.
6. Friends! Do you like other animals?
Not really. I tolerate Teebo and Rose, but I tend to bat at the little dogs next door if the screen door is open and they walk by.

Mom had a nasty old my grain this last weekend so I was Mom's head nurse while she tried to recover.
I made sure to keep her feet warm by laying at the end of the bed by her feet and I made sure that Rose and Teebo were very quiet if they came to visit Mom.
I took very few breaks while Teebo and Rose would come and go throughout the weekend. A nurse's duty is never done!
I'm glad to say that on Sunday evening Mom was feeling better due to my wonderful nursing skills, though she says that her neck and shoulders are still sore but getting better.
I'm off to enjoy all the fresh air - the windows are finally open because the temps are a little lower, as is the humidity!

It's been a while since I've posted so I wanted to let you all know I'm still here.
There hasn't been much going on, but being on a diet has led me to a few new vocalizations (aka - new feed me meows). Unfortunately, they don't seem to be working.
Mom and Dad keep saying how svelte I look. I don't know what svelte means but maybe it means hungry and I'll get more food if I practice my new meows some more.
Mom has been working lately so I have been forced to show my displeasure with my supper being late by tinkling outside the box. I have been promised that the working late is almost done and my meals will be served on a more timely basis. I'm glad to hear my feedback was taken seriously.

Teebo and I had to go to the vet for our annual check up and we have both gained 3 pounds so now we're on a diet. I can't say that I'm thrilled but surprisingly enough I'm not starving so I guess it will be okay.
Right now all 3 of us are hanging out in the computer room. I got the spot right next to Mom on the ottoman so I am within easy petting distance.
