Catster Moms Visited ME!!!

That's right! My bestest bud Boxie's mom came to visit me again! I just love when she visits. She is always so nice to me. And guess what? This time she also brought Rasta's mom! Rasta is my sister Abigail's very bestest girlfurriend. Abi was so excited that she just went into a cleaning frenzy. Rasta sent Abi a pretty pink princess outfit. I tried on the hat myself, but it was a little girly for me. I think Abi will like it though.

And, there's more! My sweet Tiger Lily's mom also came! She smelled so much like my Tiger Lily, and she brought me a new blue sweater. I posed in it for a picture. I really hope Tiger Lily likes the way it looks. Her mom seemed to like it.

We all got some great new toys and treats and all kinds of special attention - lots of petting, playing, hugs, and kisses! My brother, Maxwell, was a little shy, but the rest of us were eating it up. Now that the moms all went back to their homes, ours seems kinda empty.

I think my mom thinks they all came to visit her. And being the nice people they are, they did include her, but we all know they came to visit MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

So, I just wanted to say thank you to the moms for visiting me, I mean us, and making my mom laugh so much. You are all very special to us. Please come back soon!

Who me? COTD!!!!

I can't believe I am Cat of the Day today! And I almost missed the whole grand day. We woke up this morning to find that our internet was broken. If it wasn't for my best buddy, Boxie Brown, who had his mom call to tell me, I wouldn't have known till it was all over! Am I glad that I am his protege. He asked our friends at RNB to save a picture of the main page and told me that Blade made a badge for my page, so that I would have something to remember this day especially if I couldn't come by to see it myself. *wipes a tear* What good friends I have. Thanks to all my RNB pals, you guys are the best! Thanks to everyone for all the nice pmails and gifts you sent, and thanks to the kitties who saved or made things for me. I will be pmailing thanks to everyone as soon as we get our regular internet fixed.

Luckily tonight, dad brought home a laptop and I was able to visit. I got to wear a crown, and have a toast of champagne with my friends. And sweet Tiger LIly came by too, I let her wear the crown, it looked prettier on her!

I've never had such an honor before, except for holding the title of Dangerboy at my house. haha! It means so much because this group is the best there is. Thanks to HQ for making me COTD and for hosting and developing such a great place for us cats to hang out!

Well, I'm too excited to sleep, .....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Abigail here: Lewis' sister. I think the excitement got to him. I'll just tuck him in bed and say thanks to everyone who made this such a fun day for him.

A Successful Walk

I went outside for a walk on my leash this morning with mom. I ate some nice green grass. I tried to chase my brother, Maxwell, but mom is too slow on the other end of the leash. I just discovered that climbing trees is fun, so I had to climb every tree in the yard. I'd jump up a foot or so then scooch on up a few more feet, then - and this is the fun part - I'd leap off!

Hmm, let's see. Oh, I caught some bugs, and ate one. Tasty. Then I caught a shrew! Now that was exciting. It kept making these cool little squeaky noises. I got so excited that I squeezed out of my collar and ran off a few feet but then got scared. Mom came and picked me up and the shrew ran away and burrowed into the grass. All in all one terrific walk. I think I'll sleep the rest of the day or at least until I get hungry!

I'm not bad, I'm hungry

So I think I'm developing some bad habits, at least that's what I'm being told. I wake up early, around 5 am, cause I'm hungry. So I go in and jump on mom, so she'll feed me. When she ignores me I usually turn to torturing my siblings. When I chase Maxwell, he makes all kinds of whiny, growling sounds and if its Abigail I chase, she hisses. I always make sure to herd them into the bedroom so that their noises keep mom awake. Now mom has started to close the bedroom door and KICK ME OUT! You'd think she'd just get up and feed me, then we could all go back to sleep.

Tomorrow

Well, its late and I should be in bed. But tomorrow is the big surprise party. Ravi and I have been working hard to keep it secret - it almost got out today, but I think it is ok.

I'm so excited, I really can't sleep. Maybe I'll have a snack. Or maybe I'll watch TV. Of course, I can go through the decorations again, make sure they're all there. Gosh, I hope the guest of honor likes what Ravi and I have done. Tomorrow is the big day.

Party Planning

Well, the invitations are sent. It turned out to be harder than we thought. My partner in party planning (who shall remain un-named for now) was worried that his paws might fall off from all the typing. I developed a few blisters on mine. But it will all be worth the effort. I can't wait! *chases tail in circles*

Surprises are so much fun

I am so excited, I'm planning a surprise party for a good furriend of mine - I can't say who - it IS a surprise!! His brother is helping me and he has lots of good ideas. Oh it will be such fun, I can't wait *does a little happy dance* We'll have lots of food - mouse kabobs (an excellent suggestion by Miss Muppet), catnip punch, assorted cheeses, popcorn (for my silly brother, Maxwell), whipped cream, a whole giant salmon, and much, much more! Party hats, decorations, presents, cake...*dance, dance, dance*

Left behind

Today, I was left inside while mom worked out in the yard. That did not make me happy. I do NOT like to be left in here alone. I cried at the door as loud as I could. Then I jumped up and hung on the door so I could see out the window. I can only hold on for a few minutes, then I slide back off. It makes a really cool loud noise when I jump up. That entertains me for a while. Eventually, I just went and slept on my chair.

Freedom! Briefly.

Today, my big adventure was that I snuck out the back door when mom opened it. I'm very quick. Before it could close behind her - I was out like a flash. Down the steps and into the backyard. Ooohhhh grass! I love grass. Usually, I only get some when I am on my leash and mom is right there hovering over me. But today, I was on my own and it was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, I heard something and got scared, so I ran back up on the deck where mom scooped me up and put me back inside. I had five whole minutes of bliss.
