Oh my! It's already November! And you know what that means? Daddy and Allie's bday is coming up! I will always remember Allie's bday as it's the day after my dad's!! Daddy will be a whoppin' 29 this year (mom still gets annoyed that she's older by 2 years) and Allie will be 4!!! I too, like daddy, have an older wifey :)

Not sure what to get the prettiest cat in the world... I'm all set for Catmas but her bday is a different story. We both laugh as both our bdays are so close to Catmas. But I've been saving and daddy said I've been a better cat lately so my allowance is bigger :)

I might have to consult my BIL what she kneads... My lady is not high maintenance which is good!

I smell not-so-familiar cat smells!

Ooooooooo my pawrents are FINALLY back from visiting *MONTE AND FAMILY* ! OMC!! I smell all these smells on their fur and am wondering, is that why they were gone for so long???!!!

Although the weather was terrible (a LOT of rain and bad drivers), my pawrents left at 6am and returned home at 8:40pm.

My mom and dad had so much fun!! Mom loved playing with all Auntie's babies and was happy to finally meet Cannoli, Monte and Truffles! Truffles was a bit shy but mom did get to meet everyone :)

They came home with goodies from Auntie and my brothers!! Let's see... There's a big bag of... Biscotti's!!! Guess who picked them out :) Mmmmmmm mom is munching on a few while doing my diary MOL!!! Auntie Barb also gave mom a yummy Yankee Candle "Spiced Pumpkin", "Winter candy Apple" anti-bacterial hand soap from B&BW, a nice big fridge tablet from PetSmart where 50% of the proceeds to go charities, Halloween sockies (mom usually wears WHITE socks, but the colored ones in mom's drawer are from Auntie over the years MOL), and then WE all got goodies!!!

We got a HUGE bag of goodies: Auntie's famous catnip pillows, mousies, glitter balls, feather toy, 2 Fancy Feast appetizers, PARTY MIx!!!!!, a cute black cat that mom will put up for Halloween, and...

THINGS FROM VEGAS!!!! YES!!!! While Auntie and Rob went to Vegas back in Sept they had bought us and mommy/daddy something too!! Mom gotta pretty rainbow key chain that says Las Vegas, Daddy got a green masculine key chain, and WE got TWO Vegas Tees!!!!

One is dark blue with 2 bears dressed up at Las Vegas (Elvis bear!) and the other is a white T-shirt with the American flag on it saying "Las Vegas".

OMC!! We are so spoiled!!! :) Mom unfortunately won't be able to post pics until late tomorrow as she has an appointment w/ the home guy and then when she gets back from there, she has to TAKE pics :) Bummer, we can't play with our toys until pics... Oh well :)

They also went to Tony Lukes in Philly! Everyone had the Roast Beef sandwich (dad had the Parmesan platter) and the famous bacon/ranch/fries!! Mmmmmmmmmmmm Dad was happy to go there as he LOVED the fries last time!!!

Mom LOVED meeting everyone, but for some reason, she took a liking to Snowmitts (not a surprise), Biscotti and Monte!! Cannoli was having fun playing with mom too but I think Monte and Biscotti liked mom the most :)

I'm glad Harry's feeling a bit better, although I have this sneaky feeling he isn't telling ANYONE what he may or may not have digested while he decided to go for a stroll, aka missing :)

His pawrents had a doozey of a day!! Tire issues, no vet visit, but it ended well as I'm told they got pizza. Mom was jealous of that as she hasn't had pizza in a while...

Just sayin' :) I've been a bit more friendlier with meowmy and even Daddy noticed this change!

Mom never minds if I sit on her or near her, but dad on the other hand, will move me after a while 'cause I'm making him too "hot".

Allie keeps meowing about these birdies! Ooooooo they sound so fun!! I get excited too if I see birdies but often Boogs and Hondo shove me over to the side and then there goes the birdies :(

They are big and fat and seriously, not cool dudes!!! Our Hondo condo will go by a BIG window in our future home so here's hoping I too can see birdies come May!

The issue is they're doing a VA loan which isn't an issue, but there seems to be more fine print and justification of funds vs. FHA. ID chipped

First off, I'm super glad my bro-in-law, aka my furrry white brother, is home safe after missing for almost 24 hours. Harry is ID chipped and just another reminder that it's important to have SOME sort of identification on you. All 6 of us are ID chipped and mom feels safer that way.

In the meantime, mom and dad went to the Olive Garden to enjoy the endless pasta and then got desert at Maggie Moos :) Mmmmmm

They also went to PetSmart as we got that free Royal Canin food from joining the featured group on Catster :) We got the hairball formula. The coupon took $4.99 off their bill, making it free :) Mom also got a few things and a special "mitt" brush for Mittens :) HE DOES NOT like to get brushed... He acts like he's dying MOL

Can't wait to try that! Amazing how the power of pur helped bring Harry back :) Keep purrin' for Calvin!

It's true! I get into a mini funk when dad leaves for work... I mope and start talking to myself. Mom thinks I'm in search of missing daddy. I can't help it, I miss my daddy!!

Mom just posted on daddy's wall on FB saying I'm at it again, crying, looking for him.

I'm still chillaxin' with mom at night while dad finishes up this month on nights... While not the same, I will admit, she gives me more lovies than dad... Dad gets tired of petting me where as mom will keep petting me until I don't want anymore... That is a nice perk.

It's raining so it'll be a quiet night here... Mom is going to set up the lappy in the living room where we all will eventually settle next to her on the sofa. People must think mom's mobile uploads on FB will only ever consist of us sleeping... 'cause every time she gets bored, like clockwork, we're all sleeping next to her on the sofa, and she takes a picture of us sleeping.

I swear, we do more than sleep! REALLY!

Dad's getting jealous

Lately I've taken a liking to mom... While dad is on nights, mom has been trying her darndest to make me like her more. It's not like I'm settling for mom, but maybe I didn't give her a proper chance...

While she plays with us while dad's gone, I'll often rest next to her on the sofa or on the backside/head rest area of the sofa--something I don't normally do!

Also when dad gets home around 7:30 am, you can find me on the bed with mom, Boogs, Tiski and Mittens :)

Dad is wondering what's going on!! He's a bit jealous I think :) I was even playing with mom earlier!! And that NEVER happens!!! Don't worry dad, you're still my no. 1 :)

Oh my! My brother in law and sis in law are Pirates too!!! Now all we gotta do is make my BEAUTIFUL wife a pirate!! She and I could conquer the world!! We would make Catster safer, safer from Boogie.

I'm not saying I'm joining Pansy's regime, but sometimes she is RIGHT about Boogie!

Other than that, not much is new... I've been giving mom more lovies lately. I guess she's not that bad after all :) However, daddy will always be number one in my eyes :)

Wearing my girdle?

Hmmmmm I can't remember where I read it (pawmail, shoutbox, rosette, diary comments), but someone either asked myself or Boogie if he was wearing my girdle as Boogs looks UNUSUALLY thin in his main picture.

Figures he'd go through my stuff and take things without my purrmission. He has a Vet appointment the 14th with Hondo and I'm hoping the Vet will say he's TOO muscular!! :) Doubtful as our Vet said he has a 22 pound cat himself MOL

Too much mommy time!

Woe is me... So dad has 3 more days of day work then he's on nights *yay*. He's not as tired when he works nights but the only problem is I have more MOM time as she stays up until he comes home from work.

Don't get me wrong, I love giving mom love nips/bites on her head, but I'm all about my dad! While there's always someone at home when dad works nights I do miss my dad oh so much.

I might have to fly down to TX and visit my wifey Allie :) She too is a daddy's girl!

Turning 2 years old?!?!

Where does time go!?! I'm so excited to be celebrating my brothers *TISKERS* , *MITTENS* and their litter mate *BISCOTTI* birthday today on August 26th!! They are all going to be the TERRIBLE TWO'S this year *gulp*

Their brother Snowmitts from a different litter is throwing all 3 an all day party *HERE* . We would love for you to come!

Have a pawsome birthday dudes!! Mom is especially happy for Tiski as he was diagnosed 4 months ago with a terminal heart disease so this is an extra special birthday for her to enjoy!

Meow! I haven't been a DDP in a while so what a great day this has been. Unfortunately, I gotta share this day with Boogers. And I see his "muscular" body is above me, aka he's going to SQUISH ME!!!! I also share this day with friends Monte Carlo and Hooch :)

I'm waiting for Dad to wake up as he has been snoring like a mac truck and mom has been up for over an hour having only gotten 5 hours of sleep if that...

This morning when Dad was going to the bank I decided to visit mom. Again, I did my monkey routine.

*pick pick, lick lick mom's hair, gnaw, gnaw, BITE* ooops! :) I didn't hurt her but seriously there was something in her hair! Mom just laughed :) It's funny though no? Other than that, nothing is new with me! Can't wait for tomorrow's Meowathon!! :) I get to see my Allie!!!!!!!

When's the IMAX comin'?

Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm when are we going to see HP and the HBP in Imax with the first 12 minutes in 3D?!?!

That's right, the blessed event hasn't come yet so I'm hoping this weekend is the day as dad is off this weekend. I haven't heard yet but I'm assuming it'll be out on DVD for the holidays as in the past.

I'm not going to take down my blond DD wig yet. I think I'm starting to like the look of being a black cat with blond high lights!! Seriously, us black cats have a bad wrap for being "unlucky" but I'm a tuxedo and quiet lucky 'cause I have a beautiful wife, Allieeeeeee!

My Gotcha Day is coming!

I just realized 3 years ago on August 15 is when I came to my furrever home :) I can't wait to get my 3rd candle :) Hard to believe it's been 3 years!!!

Being a firm believer in fate, wouldn't ya know that my Allie girl's mom celebrates her Birthday the same day as my Gotcha day?!?! It's a sign furr sure!!!!

I'm glad I get to spend my Gotcha Day with my wifey Allie :) We'll be at the HP Meowathon together :) purrrrrrrrrr

Yup, I am so loving Grandpaw :) In fact, mom is starting to think I'm 100% Mancat!! I like mom but I seem to be in favor of men :) I have to have role models right?!?!

We all got a kick out of me cleaning mom last night. We were all in the living room and I sit on the top part of the sofa. Sometimes I'll sorta love bit mom's hair. Almost as if I'm looking for bugs and cleaning her like a monkey MOL!!! Grandpaw laughed pretty hard :)

Mrow!!! I keep waking up mom and dad by meowing loud. Mom is STILL trying to record me meowing for my beautiful wife Allie :)

I hear Grandpaw is coming for a week this Wednesday. I don't like visitors... I don't mind the students that come by for music lessons with mom, and honestly? I don't mind visitors, but it takes me a good 3 days to come around unless I see you often.

As long as daddy is by my side, I'll be safe. Time to get moist food!

OH MY!!! Auntie Barbi and Unkie Rob stayed the night and just left.... And low and behold, I have come out of hiding :)

The moment I saw them, I hid from them MOL!! I do this a lot when people come over. I did let them touch me but only 'cause Daddy held me captive!!! I don't know why I do this, but they couldn't find me! I hid behind the sofa, under the bed, and at times, NO ONE could find me!

Mom checked our paypal and we were charged the $19.95 fee!!! We had to change our credit card info that we used for previous years (on paypal) 'cause it expired. But we did that in April. A few weeks ago we got an email saying they hope we renew again, yada yada...

Well we set that up weeks before our old subscription was to expire. And I just saw ugly adds on my page!!

Of course, like always, these things happen on WEEKENDS... Just another thing for us to do... Ugh. I am assuming they'll fix it, but we have the paypal info and we WERE charged...

Mrow! Nothing is really new but I like to keep my diaries semi current. I gotta assure my beautiful wifey that I'm doing good and that Boogie didn't sit on me :)

Dad is on nights and I miss him terribly. I sit on the HL Sage blanket (Porkers') and wait and wait and wait for him to get home. Maybe I'll bug Hondo but that usually results me getting in trouble for playing too rough. Hondo is just a big baby. He meows in frustration when I'm kicking his tail :)

Grandpaw is flying down to visit for a week on Aug 5!!! He hasn't read the books yet! *gasp* I KNOW! Mom ordered a new set of paperbacks a few weeks ago and is going to give grandpaw her old books. She's determined to get him hooked!!!

I'm glad my Allie girl saw it finally! I would have loved to see her go POOF during the scary cave scene MOL!!!! Although, I'd probably hide behind her instead :) I'm taking after Hondo in the scardy cat department. Although I do hunt bugs unlike Hondo!

D'oh!! I messed up at the Meowathon today!!! I did the chapter my beautiful wife Allie had LAST WEEK!!! DANGIT!!

And of course, Boogie saved the day.... He quickly read the chapter and did a brief summary... *embarrassed* I swear I wasn't on nip!!! I think Boogie sabotaged me on purrpose!!

The HP group is EXCITED for the HBP movie out on the 15th!!! Seriously, it was supposed to be out LAST NOV but nooooooooooooooo! The play in NYC, "Equis" or what ever was premiering so that held up things :( HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Oh well, at least I got to chill with my wifey Allie tonight :)

OMC OMC OMC OMC!!! In a week, we'll be sitting, watching HP and the Half Blood Prince at midnight!

As before, I have my HP gear and am all set to enjoy the show!! Mom is still bummed she beat the game in 5 hours. She hasn't tried it since. She might just play game 5 again 'cause that was the best out of the 7 games (it's 7 if you include the Quidditch one).

Oooooooooooooo mom can NOT wait!!! And this week the group is finishing the HBP book! What great timing!!!!!!!!

Hairball!!!

*hack hack* A while ago I wrote about how I had a HUGEEEEEEEE hairball, the size of a mousie! I believe it was my bro-in-law Gimme who said that I might be having more hairballs 'cause I'm shedding my winter coat.

Well, I did it again and this time mom got to show daddy my masterpiece!! The hair looks gray/brown. Probably 'cause I groom everyone :) Note, that no one grooms me BUT me!! *pouts*

Maybe it's because when I groom my brothers (namely Hondo and Boogie) after a few licks, I attack them hehe! See, the key is to be a super sleuth!!! Gotta catch them off guard :)

My nephew's bday is today along with...

PorkChop's half siblings, *Cannoli* and *Karisma* turn 1 year old today!!! I know there's an all day party for Cannoli *HERE* . I will be on the look out for Karisma's party too!

Also, my handsome nephew *Mago* has a birthday today too! I hope his bday gift gets there soon!! I told him he gets first dibs on the bday gift that's in the mail :) hehe

Fireworks!

Thanks Catster for the firework display on our pages!! We have no plans for July 4th. Dad is working that day (Double time/holiday pay) so that's always good. However, his type of work will leave him EXTRA busy that day I'm sure... Hopefully he gets an easy post!!

Yesterday dad went on a bike ride (mom was cleaning) and he went 16 miles! Unfortunately he got... LOST! MOL!!!!!!!! He had to page a friend for directions to get home :) He doesn't leave the house w/o his phone and it's a good thing he didn't forget it or he might not have come back MOL!!!

Nothing is new with us! Mom is lovin' the Nintendo DS and all the games they bought. We can't wait to give Grandpaw his when he comes in Aug!!

In the meantime I'm counting down the days until HP HBP comes out! Naturally we ordered the game, soundtrack, yada yada! The month of July will be pawsome!!!

Porkers turns 1 on Thursday! I can't wait! Poor Hondo's bday condo isn't done yet. He kneads a pink fix and BAD!

This is the bestest day after my Birthday and Gotcha Day :) How do I count the ways how I love my daddy Dan?!?!

1) Even if I'm told I'm bad by mom when I cause a muck, daddy always says I'm furrrgiven :)

2) I always get lovies from him and I make sure I give him extra ones back!

3) Daddy lets me snuggle next to him and doesn't mind if I hog the bed (mom doesn't tolerate this MOL)

4) He and I have a fast metab and we have that bond!

5) He's the BESTEST DADDY!!! He convinced mom to adopt me almost 2 years ago from a co-worker. Seriously, it doesn't get better than that!

Today I jumped on the bed, sat ON mom's belly/chest, purrred and was kneading her!

*gasp* I KNOW!!! Mom called dad as she had her cell in bed w/ her and was beyond shocked!!! I NEVER DO THIS!!! Mom is happy that I purred while ON her :) See, I DO love my mommy!! Although she sometimes doubts that as I'm a daddy's boy.

Mom is still in shock! MOL!! This lasted for about 8 minutes :)

*yawn* I'm just NOW catching up on what's going on catster as well as answering pawmails and acknowledging thankies as I'm a DDP today :)

Mom and our family woke up at 4pm EST!! Can you believe it? We try and get up by 2pm but man oh man!! It's very over cast here and that'll always force mom to sleep longer than she should. Boogie, Porkers, Mittens and Hondo were on the bed with mom. I was on the dresser with Tiski. One big happy family :)

Yay me! I'm a DDP!! Mom is still up as she has given up on trying to maintain a "normal" sleep schedule. She's a night owl, plain and simple.

I'm glad my winning diary was about my beautiful wife Allie :) I'm even happier that she's back (her typist was gone). Oh how I missed her at the HP Meowathons!!!

Not much to report... I have been giving mom some extra lovies lately which is VERY unusual!! And mom has to take pics of daddy and us kids tomorrow. She keeps forgetting to take pics and wants to make sure dad has a clean shave for the pics (along w/ me! I don't like scruff).

Tomorrow marks our 6 month annifurrsary!! I haven't heard from her much as her mom is busy with work. I wonder if her mom will let her stay at my place furrever so we can erase the communication issues? MOL!!!

I can't believe it's almost 6 months!!!

Not much is new with our family. Dad goes back to work tomorrow after taking 2 weeks off for VA's campaigns. Mom's enjoyed all the daddy time as do I! I am a Daddy's boy!!! Mom is nice for feeding me food, good for an occasional rub, but nothing compares to Daddy :)

6 months ago today...

My bestest mousie due EVER went to Rainbow Bridge. I can't believe it's been 6 months since *PICASSO* left his family :(

I know that his family miss him dearly but what helps me get through the day is knowing that he'll one day be reunited with his loving family. He truly was a remarkable cat who was loved to pieces, and taken such good care of when some families would have given up on him.

Till we meet again lil' mousie dude!!!

So Mittens ALWAYS meows in the morning to tell the humans, "I AM STARVING! FEED ME"

Well, I've always been vocal. Mom has yet to capture me meowing up a storm on film :) I usually meow at the corner near our dinning table for about 30 seconds each day (don't ask why MOL).

Lately I've been meowing for a week in the morning while on the humans' dresser (I learned this from Mittens). "MRowwww MROWWWWWW mreeeeeeeeeeroooooow"

Mom and dad are trying to sleep of course, so when I meow I'm told, "Fidoooooooooooo shut up pleaseeeeeeeee we're trying to sleep!! C'mon Fido, stoppppppppppppppp!!"

hehe

Well this morning while dad was putting up campaign signs, mom woke up to hear me MROWING!! And she too said, "FIDO!! C'mon, I'm tired, stop! Enough! Get down from there" And I did it one more time and jumped off the dresser and sat next to mom!! I KNOW! I, FIDO, SLEPT NEXT TO MOM!!

She was shocked!! :)

Happy June 1st!

In 14 days me and Allie will have been meowied for 6 months!! Wow, seems like yesterday!

Not much new here. I got yelled at by... DADDY 'cause I was being too rough with Hondo and he cried. Sureeeeeeee get ME in trouble. Wait... That's my middle name!!!

I'm Grounded!!!

HISSSSSSSSSS!!! I'm trying right now to make ammends with meowmy!! I'm on the computer desk while she's doing my diary.

Everytime one of my bros come back from the Vet, I come up to them and HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS in their face!!! Tiskers came back from the vet an hour or so ago and mom just heard and SAW me go, "*smack* HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

I AM GROUNDED! She said, "NO NO FIDEY! YOU BE NICE! YOU ARE GROUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I really get hissy when Tiski comes home, not so much w/ the others but it happens. I SOWWY MEOWMY!!

As mentioned earlier, Tiski got back from the vet as he had to get a CBC/Mini-Chemistry, Cystocentesis and Specific Gravity (basically 3 week blood work).

All looks good. One test showed that his kid-knee readings was mildly elevated which is common with Lasix. So Dr. Cutie Pants is faxin' over the results to the Cardiologist. Tiski is on 1/2 lasix 2x a day, and Dr. Cutie said that more than likely we'll reduce the lasix to 1/4 tab 2x a day.

Ok, time to convince mom (and to get on her good graces) that Hondo KNEADS THAT PINK PALACE for his bday which was May 25!!!

Birthday Party!!!!

Oooooooo my brother *HONDO* will turn 6 tomorrow, May 25th :) Boogie's bestest *PANSY* is throwing him a surprise PINK PARTY!!!! So be sure to read her diary for directions to an all day party!!!

It'll be an all day party, and we'll be able to attend either at 5 pm EST or 7 pm EST. We're not sure what time exactly 'cause our carpet dudes are coming in to install 3/4 of the carpet (the other 1/4 on Tuesday).

So naturally our internet MIGHT be down until we can plug it back in. I told Pansy we're not sure if we have an internet plug in our Master bedroom (where some of our stuff will be, while we're on lock down with mom in the bathroom), but if we do? Then we'll be around more often! Mom is going to have dad move the dresser to see if we do.

We have the lappy but no internet connection plugie? No lappy!

Hondo's a piggie!

*smack* Oh yes, that's what happened just now... Hondo got some pawsome pressies for his 6th birthday from Kashmere and family. One of the gifties was some Party Mix! EVERY TIME my siblings get nom noms, I patiently wait for some. I know better. I know that Boogie and Mittens will bowl doze me over so they can eat MY treats.

But I know with Hondo, he'll share. BUT this time he didn't! He smacked me and said, "NO, these are MINE"

I was telling her brother that Allie and I have been meowied for almost 6 months!! And dad made sure to tell me, "You must NEVER EVER miss a huge milestone or you will NEVER hear the end of it".

Her spring coat is coming in so nice!! My coat stays the same. Even my weight is the same :)

I've been giving meowmy some extra Fidey lovies lately! I KNOW RIGHT?!?! She's growing on me... I think she's trying to buy my love with snackies *and it does work SOMETIMES*.

New Catster!!!

Meet this handsome lil' dude *Truffles* awwwwwwww isn't he cute?!?!

He's from the family of Picasso and is coming home TONIGHT!! Yes tonight!!! Auntie Barbi wanted to adopt a cat from the shelter for her birthday and also in remembrance of Kashmere. Call it fate, but Truffles is adopted from the same shelter as Kashmere 8 years ago!!!

He has a pawsome family and we can't wait to see him grow up!!! WOOHOO!! He is CUTE!

OH! I'm a DDP!!!

We were just glad the weather was nice as the rain was getting tiresome. The landscaper dudes came by and mowed the lawn since it's day 2 of no rain. It's super green here in No. VA and we all get excited when we look out from the porch and hear birdies!

Thanks for the continuous purrrs for my bro Tiskers. We're waiting to hear from the Cardiologist again 'cause he seems to be barfing when he eats dry food. He keeps his Diltazem pills down (which are the ones that the Vet wants to monitor) for 6 hours, eats moist after (to help the pill be in his system) but when he eats dry he yacks...

Happy Mother's Day!

Dang, Tiskers and Porkers just got back from a long stroll. Generally I stroll with Boogie. I wanted to go but Boogie didn't so the two dudes went. Boogie will pay....

In the meantime, today is Mother's Day and I'm trying to be a GOOD Fido! TRYING to give mom lovies and not JUST daddy... We shall see :)

We all surprised mom with a medium sized heart SS locket from Tiffany's. She was super surprised and had been eying that for a while. The chain we bought wasn't the kind she liked, and since it happens to be the most popular one (what ever that oooo link looking one is) it's back ordered but we'll be getting a call Wednesday to pick it up. While we were there, mom also picked out her late Bday gift. She wanted the travel case and picked out Tiffany Blue.

And yes, Hondo was mad that we didn't get the pink one :)

My brother Tiskers needs purrrs...

Mommy Samantha here. I am home with my baby Tiskers but it is with great difficulty that I report that the news isn't great.

I had noticed 2 days ago that Tiskers was breathing differently. He was on the computer desk with me and had a bad dream. When he woke up and calmed down, his breathing seemed more labored than normal. I could see that his sides were going in and out more than normal. Looking at the others, it was obvious that Tiskers breathing pattern was different.

Having never really payed attention to his breathing, for all I knew, this was "normal" but it wasn't normal for him as I would have seen this.

He had an appointment today at 11AM with the vet. While the vet heard no heart murmur, and things felt fine (other than a full bladder), we agreed to do blood tests and a Radiograph (x-rays of his heart/lungs).

The heart looked fine from the Radiograph, but near the lung area, there was what appeared to be some blockage (I forget what he said). So they took 2 more from different angles. We laughed as poor Tiskers had a lot of poopie in the x-ray...

I agreed that we should look into this more and he was able to get me into the Cardiologist in Leesburg, VA (15-20 min drive). Dan dropped me off as he had to go to class as it's finals week.

They took me back and I gave them the Radiograph CD and blood results (which were great!). They did an Ultra sound and Eciograph (spelling?). And while he told me the results, I just stood there numb.

Diagnosis:
-Moderate to borderline severe juvenile onset hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
-Severe posterior wall and apical left ventricular hypertrophy
-Mild left atrial chamber dilation
-Congestive heart failure manifested by pleural effusion

He is on Diltiazem 30mg 2x a day, Lasix/Furosemide 12.5 mg 2x a day, and Children's Apsril 81 mg (1/2 tab 2x weekly)

The outcome depends on how he takes the medicine. If he vomits and doesn't eat, then there's plan B, aka different meds.

Basically, to dumb it down... He had mild heart failure when we brought him in (he did get a Lasix shot), the left side of his heart is affected. The walls are thick in the left ventricular and there was fluid in the left av___ (forget what part of the heart). Unfortunately he won't have the long life we had hoped. The Cardiologist said he had a cat earlier with very similar readings who was here today for his 5 month checkup. But he did say, unfortunately, not to be morbid, since he is so young, he's guessing a year... As long as there's no clots (which can paralyze a cat and are PAINFUL), there will be no suffering and it would be quick.

Please keep my baby in your prayers. He's such a mommy's boy and I'm just devastated. We have been aware that Main Coons and Raggies are prone to getting Cardiomyopathy. They are not born with it.

I'd like to thank Barbi for being there the moment I got the news and for doing a diary entry for me and my baby Tiskers. Catster is a great place and a wealth of knowledge. I can't thank you enough for your purrs.

Dan is going to Target to fill the prescriptions and I'm going to spend time with my baby...

I'm going to have mom look into Laxatone, 'cause I received an annonymousie rosette and this so-called *HAIRBALL REMEDY SERVICE* sorta... scares me!!!

This is what I love about Catster. The friendships, seeing everyone's cute pictures, reading diaries, and the endless help and suggestions from other cats! *hugs*

Awww thanks guys for getting back to me via pawmail and via "comment" on my last diary.

Interesting about seasonal shedding Gimme, that makes sense! My Allie knows that while I am not a huge fan of getting brushed, when I do, not much hair comes off other than 3 strands MOL. But perhaps it IS seasonal shedding, so mom is going to have dad furminate me (Good idea Hazel Lucy) 'cause I only let him brush me (I run from mom :)

I laughed when my bestest twin Riley wrote me :) I told him when I yacked that hairball, it reminded me of him 'cause he catches REAL mousies, and I yacked up a faux mousie hehe!

Jobél said I gave mom an early Mother's Day gift!! That's one less thing I gotta get mom now!!

And of course, Nurse Margo was able to diagnose my problem... She is after all a NURSE!!!

Another friend Mickey said try some hairball food or Petramalt. I don't like Petramalt, but mom is going to force me to eat it even if it means I gotta wait for daddy to put it in my mouth (he puts it on the top of my mouth, 'cause I'll spit out the big brown blob jell stuff otherwise).

Good to know that others have had HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE hairballs. Hondo gets them every so often, and they're THIN small dime sized pancake shaped. Mom was just concerned about the size of mine. It was THICK! Me and Colleen share that honor MOL!

Ewwwwwwwwwww I just threw up the hugest hairball. As mentioned before in many of our diaries, mom didn't like cats 7 years ago... So she's still new to the whole cat thing...

My hairball was the size of a furry mousie!!! You know, the kind we all get from various pet stores...

Mom felt so bad she freaked!!!

"...OH FIDEY!!!! ARE YOU OK!?!?! OH NO!!! FIDEY!!! IT'S OK!!! DON'T WORRY!!!!"

So is it normal for a cat, such as myself, who doesn't get hairballs other than maybe, 1x a year, to be the size of a wet furry mousie?!?! Mom was SHOCKED! She worried I might have choked had it excited horizontally!!!

New Page!!!

Ok, Ok!! I get the hint!! Mom just made Boogie and I a new page as a couple friends said we "kneaded" a new page MOL!

I threatened mom with her FB account if she didn't and that seemed to work.

Also an update. I didn't realize Paws (Allie's brother Murray's, fiancee) is also a DDP!! Pawsome!

Now if only both our moms would stay off FB :) hehe!!! Ok, now to work on Mittens' page!!

I see Calvin left a comment (love this feature) saying mom and I knead to get off FB and fix my page as it's still Easter MOL!!! True that!! I'm still hoping I can find a better secretary. Like seriously... Mercy, Calvin, and Picasso's mom are always on top of things!!!

My mom used to until this thing called FB came along. Weird thing is that we've been on FB for almost 2 years, but until the past year, we weren't active MOL

Strollin'

Yup, it's true... Boogie wasn't lying... He and I went strolling this week with grandpaw as he was in town for a week. He just left and mom was very sad :(

Grandpaw said I behaved MUCH better this time! In the past, I've ran away from him MOL! The first time I met him was 2-3 years ago and it was on the day he was flying back to MN.

So I've come a long way! I showed him my beautiful wife Allie's picture and Catster page. He just laughed and said I had a pretty wife :) *duh!*

Ok, I must catch up on what's going on with friends!

Mommy turns 31 tomorrow!!

April 24 is mommy's birthday!!! Unfortunately, I didn't help with her birthday gift 'cause Boogie was in charge... hmph!

Grandpaw scares me... He's an inch taller than daddy (6'2") and has a beard... That combo scares me...

He does give me lovies, but I run for the hills and look for MY daddy! Not mom's daddy...

Kashmere is an Angel :(

*KASHMERE* suddenly passed to Rainbow Bridge April 21, 2009 :(

Barbi was going to bed, and all of a sudden, Kashmere made a loud noise, was convulsing, and she died in her mom's arms.

This just happened before midnight EST. Barbi is going to the vet in the morning and will get an autopsy.

We're so sorry for Barbi and family. This is very sudden and random as she was healthy!! She has no idea what happened nor do we.

No pink laptop

Again, mom tried to convince dad that she NEEDED the pink laptop at Best Buy... Instead, they came home with a Tashiba silver colored one. Mom wanted a computer just for email and paying bills as mom worries about virus'. Our computer was hit again yesterday, but after doing updates on Norton, our Spywear, and Malware software? NO VIRUS'. So perhaps the message mom saw from Norton was to inform her that the program blocked the intruders. Mom can't remember 'cause she had just woken up and just freaked.

So our desktop is for FB, and all the sites, where as the laptop will be for paying bills and email only (oh and Paint Shop Pro programs and Catster). MOL! Just not FB!

Mom and dad are going to take Porkers for his first stroller ride in a few. I'll let Tiskers go w/ Porkers since they're sorta best friends. I'll get stuck with big boned Boogers I bet! Grrrrrrrrr I'm ALWAYS stuck in the back!!!

Well I'm happy to say we're back online! Our internet was out for over 48 hours and we just got on!!! So we gotta play catch up and gift out the rest of our Easter Goodies to frieinds!

It went out late Friday afternoon and boy was mom mad... Saturday was no better and she was on hold with Verizon for over an hour. They must not be working on Easter Weekend? She eventually gave up and was meowing back and forth to Allie's mom on FB :)

I couldn't even go to the Meowathon where I see my beautiful wife!! Mom had no way of getting in touch with friends other than email. And to make matters worse, Allie's mom said via email around 11pm that email must be messed up too as she got a message we sent to her 5 hours AFTER the fact. EVIL internet!

Wedding coming up!

I can't wait for my sister-in-law, Phoebe, to tie the tail to Gimme!! Hondo just got done making a new banner for her page, so once we get their code, we can give them the new revised code!

I, of course, have the prettiest date :) Oh how I love my Saturday's! And not 'cause we get to sleep in!! But we have our weekly meowathon and I get to meet up with my Allie! She reminds me of Hermione! She's very smart, but Allie is prettier than Hermione :)

I've been helping daddy on FB as he's doing the Easter Fluff hunt! Mom is having crummy luck, but dad is prevailing :)

MEOWWWWW! So my parents went to bed around 1AM as dad is switching over to day work tomorrow. Mom had just fallen asleep at 2AM when they woke up to me crying at the door and trying to get in.

"MEOWWWWWW mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr MEOWWwwwwww". Once mom is up, she's UP! I wouldn't shut up :) So she stayed up till 6AM and then went to bed afterward. She just got up at 4PM *sigh* My bad! But I was sad 'cause daddy was in the bedroom and I wasn't!

The good news is, today Boogie is no longer in confinement so that means I can visit daddy at night :) Problem solved!

Yay! I'm a DDP! What a surprise! Thanks for the rosettes, pawmails and gifties everyone! Sorry we haven't been on Catster as much. I'm a bit behind on pawmails too.

Mom's been trying to figure out her new BB Bold. Her and dad decided to upgrade as they've had their BB Curve for almost 2 years so they were eligible for the upgrade.

I can now get onto Catster on mom's new phone! Very cool!!! I can't wait till the HP meowathon tonight!! Almost 2 years later, and the group is still doing the book club :) We're on book 6 of 7!! YAY!

All I know, is do NOT make Allie mad!! Shaving my furrr WOULD make her mad... Just sayin' :)

My treats?!?!

Who ate my treats?!? BOOGIE!!! I suspect HE did 'cause at home when mom puts out treats for us, Boogie hogs them and boy oh boy do I get mad! I smack him sometimes but that doesn't matter. He out weighs me by 6 pounds!

But my treats on Catster are almost gone! BOOGIE!!!

Meanwhile, not much is new with me. Mom's eyes look better *phew* and I've been sitting on the computer while she pays bills as of late. I never sit next to mom.... NEVER!!! I'm not going to say this is the reason, but I am told that I'm jealous 'cause daddy loves Mittens a lot too... Hmph!

Daddy forgot to write for me yesterday so he's doing it now.

I'd like to thank everyone who sent me pawmails and gifties for being a DDP yesterday along w/ DDP piggie, Boogers.

Mom's doing better but she can't shake the stitch that's poking her eye. Where the surgeon tied the knot in the string and then cut off the string, for what ever reason, the string decided to turn inward on mom's eye ball. It's the area between the lower lid and ball. Other than that no pain!

What a huge surprise to see Unkie Miles' handsome face on the main page as he's COTW!!! He's having a fantastic week alright as he just turned 20!

Hopefully daddy will be able to write a diary for the rest of the gang soon.

Also a big meow out goes to HL and Lancelot for being a DDP! Dad's not too bad of a secretary but mom gets tired telling him what to do on our pages and how 'cause dad has that deer in the headlight look when mom instructs him.

Gonna miss my Allie!

My beautiful Allie Girl will be gone for a while as her mom is visiting her meowmy. That means I'll have to go solo at this week and next HP Meowathons. I'll miss her :) In the meantime I'll just gaze at her beautiful framed picture she sent me when we were dating. *swooooooooons*

I'm certain Allie will be on her best behavior as her daddy (both daddys) will be home to take care of her. Now, if it was her daddy (human) leaving, I'm sure Allie would be in more trouble hehe :)

Mom's getting her eye surgery tomorrow so we too might be sorta spurrratic online. I won't take care of mom as Boogie has stepped up to the plate.

Mom used to always be on top of changing our pages immediately after the holiday's passed, but she's been so lax lately! Something about PS and playing and socializing with our friends with FB.

A wedding is coming up!

I can't WAIT for my sister in law, Phoebe, to marry her Gimme the 28t of February!!! My extended family is sure getting big! Now I'll have Mombo and the fur kids in our family too!!

I can't wait to accompany Allie :) We'll be the best looking couple there that's for sure!! The theme is red, and I gotta say, both Allie and I look smashing in red :)

2 months of bliss!

Me and Allie have been married for TWO months!!! It's been the bestest two months too!

It was actually 2 months yesterday, but I got distracted while giving daddy lovies on the couch. Mom was doing her PS on FB so my secretary at the time was indisposed.

Not much is new here. The weather has gotten chilly again, hence my daddy loves!

Speaking of daddies... Grandpaw is coming down April 22 for a week!! It'll be nice for mom to see him. He'll be taking her out to a bday dinner the 24th as mom turns the big ol' 31. Yikes she says!

Ok time to get my zzzzzzzzz's on! Love you Allie!!!

Allie is my Catsablonca!!!

Wanna know why? Because I got a very cool Valentine's Day card from her! The girl looks SO MUCH like Allie! I'm wondering if that's a followup from Allie's modeling day! You know, her main picture and how she is a model?

I can't wait for Allie to open her Vday giftie! She has such restraint to WAIT until the day!! I hope she figures out the significance of one gifty in pawticular :) hehe

Mom and dad celebrated Vday last night 'cause Dad works all weekend. Plus they didn't want to go out w/ all the mushy crowds. Mom got her teeth whitened yesterday along w/ a kick tail haircut. She let dad pick some shoes out at his favorite store Hugo Boss. Now he has spiffy shoes.

Taxes

So mom finished our taxes yesterday morning and so far the Federal tax refund has been approved! I'm guessing mom did them right if there were no red flags. We have yet to hear from the state so here's hoping! Half the time mom doesn't know what she's doing but just follows the prompts. There was one about her student loan and she hopes to cod she didn't input that as daddy's interest as he has his on deferment because he's in school. Seriously, taxes are tricky!

I can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day with my wifey Allie!!

It's COLD OUT!!!

Brrrrrr at almost 9 am it's 14 degrees!!! I really knead my Allie now to warm me up! She has the most amazing long furrr! Plus I'm skinny and knead body heat :)

I actually slept on the bed with Boogie and Tiskers last night. Porkers was on the dresser on the heated bed and Mittens and Hondo were chillin' on their beds.

Daddy is home today 'cause his car battery died even though it's only a year old. He's getting it tested now and the battery is under warranty so he should get a free replacement. Later!

Hmmmmm my mom and Allie's mom have been having fun with the facebook application PS!! My mom named her pet after Tiskers, and dad picked Mittens *tries to hide the fact that he's hurt, just a little, pouts*. Anyway, Allie's mom's pet is Harry!!

We're working on getting Sawyer's mom hooked. Daisy's mom is already hooked :) Mom is going to get a fat bum if she keeps at these apps!

Mittens just got done setting up a Bday party thread for his girlfriend *TESSA* who turns 3 years old February 2nd!!

Ok, so mom is still up at 6AM (dad will be on days next month) and mom decided to call her dad (my grandpaw) as he's flying to ALLIE TOWN!! Yup, grandpaw is flying to TX today for work! Did he think of taking me? *pouts*

Anymeow, mom was saying how TX is supposed to have an ice storm as are we tonight and tomorrow. Mom just looked out the window and there's SNOW on the ground!! It snowed 1/1000000000000 of an inch a week or two ago but mom woke up to wet pavement... So we consider this our first snow!!

It's about 1/10000 of an inch out now MOL and I'm sure the schools will close or be delayed *rolls eyes*

All ready for Valentine's Day!

I just put up my new Valentine's Day page! We were a bit behind as mom seriously has an addiction to a few games MOL

We checked out that Twitter we keep hearing about but passed on it. We like the idea of sending a message ala 1 line, but nah... Mom's been able to reconnect w/ some HS and college buddies from FB and there are some neat applications to keep one occupied!

I'm all done shopping for Vday! There wasn't much stuff in the stores :( Seems like the economy is also effecting the way stores stock up on things...

That's right! I got 3 super cute mousies I've never seen before and a HUGE refillable mousie with catnip from *IVAN* He sure isn't kidding about how it's fun to extend one's bday for a week :) Hehe! Thanks so much dude!

I gotta have mom upload our pics from Ivan and Sammie this week! Mom just got done teaching a lesson so it'll have to wait until she's finished.

Boogie and Hondo were snoozing on the couch while mom's last Oboe student had her lesson. I was in the computer room w/ Daddy of course.

And like Allie said in her diary? Yes, it's taken some time to get used to this whole in law thing and anniversaries, and and... The one I won't forget is Vday 'cause mom said there's NO other way to upset one's wife than to forget Vday! Hallmark or not, it's important :)

Ooops!! Mom just got back from teaching (only a few lessons today as some were sick w/ the flu that's going around).

Gift Shop No Workie! But a package for me??

So I guess the rosette gift shop no workie for some! I had that problem the other day too. I was trying to select who was sending the gift (could pick the gift out fine and typed a message) but it wouldn't let me select the cat!

3 cats wrote me saying they were sorry for no giftie 'cause of this. NO PROBLEM! It's nice to get gifties but never a MUST. Besides, many catsters, including us, are no longer buying rosettes. If the $ went towards some animal shelter we would, but I think it goes straight to catster. So we're using our money towards the shelters Boogie and Hondo were adopted from "Fancy Cats". We even made their newsletter!

Thanks for making my DDP special :) Glad I could get the word that my Allie is a model!

I did just get a package from our long time besties Sammie and KiKi and Ember!!! I got a COOL card! It's of a tuxedo cat that looks like me!!! Mom got a kick out of that :) I also got a big bag of Ocean Fish Greenies, a red jingle PetSmart ball, white mousie, and a really BIG gray mousie! Thanks dudes!!!

A first first!!!

For the first time I'm sick! Not bad so no worries!! I started sneezing yesterday and I NEVER EVER EVER sneeze! I'm sorta like Hazel Lucy who hasn't been sick. Well today I had my first of firsts... I have clavimox 15ml and will be taking that for my sneezes. My eye started to water a bit but not bad. I will have to be away from Allie for a bit so to not get her sick!

It's funny as mom jokes that I'm the "cheapest" cat they have!

1) I don't eat much... I eat to live not live to eat like my brothers (seriously they eat a lot, I know when to say WHEN)
2) I haven't been sick like the rest (no eye stuff, cold, etc.,)
3) I'm low maintenance! My brothers hog toys and I'm cool as long as I have blankets and daddy!

So I guess I sorta even out all the medical expenses being I have never had a cold :) Yay me!

Oh oh... Dad is yelling at the tv, must be some football game...

FIRE TRUCKS!!! AHHHHHHHHHH

Ok, all is fine now the firetrucks just left!! Holy Cats! Mom and dad were sleeping as dad just got off nights and arrived home at 7:20 AM today. At about 1PM they were woken by the smoke alarms!

There was NO smoke so we figured the alarm got "stuck" or something? So dad tried to dismantle it but couldn't get the battery out!

So he went to the leasing office. Mom wanted to shield our ears (and thankfully we were all in the bedroom w/ them), so she put some of us in the bathroom (Hondo, Mittens and Tiskers were under the bed).

Then the firetrucks came! MOM PANICKED!! She grabbed the two large crates, and stuffed 3 in. Hondo was a PAIN IN THE TAIL as he wouldn't come under from the bed! We got him though and then ran outside... All 6 of us safe.

Apparently the guy kitty corner from us? His pipe froze and water started to flood. His smoke alarms went off like the rest of our neighbors (6 tenants) and since it was under HIS place? The sprinklers went off!!! OH NO!!! Think of all the damage!!!!

All is ok but wow, that was some fire drill!!! Mom's biggest fear is that they're gone and the firedudes come and OPEN the door (for a real fire or something) and we all run away :( We're all ID chipped but STILL!!!

Ok, mom is WIDE AWAKE NOW!!! 4.5 hours of sleep and SHE IS WIDEEEEEEEEEE AWAKE!!!!!!!!!

Twilight Card and Mystery gift **SOLVED**

Ooooooo mom just got done teaching for Friday and got the mail. Inside I saw a Birthday card from *CALLIE AND TEEBO* It is the coolest card!! They made it with TLC and on the front was... ALICE!!! From Twilight! You know, the super cute and quirky girl who can see the future as long as the person doesn't change paths?? She had a vision that I (the handsome B/W cat) would have a great birthday with lots of love and treats! She was right! MOL!! I loved it!! Thank you!

Skeezix also surprised me with a big old fat cake (MINE) and some zealies. Thanks dude!

I also got a mystery gift from Colorado Catnip Toys. There was no note so I'm not sure who it came from. Inside was the most gorgeous blue nautical/star quilt! There were 9 square patches which of course formed a blanket. Also there were two catnip toys (butterfly and a love bug). Ooooooo who sent it?!? I wanna thank you!!!

Dom dom dommmmmmmmm! The beautiful gift was from my BEAUTIFUL wife Allie!! D'oh! I forgot that she mentioned the gift reminded her of our honeymoon!! I'm a bit slow at times :) The Nautical theme! Totally didn't make that connection even though she TOLD me!!! Thank you so much Allie!

I told Allie that I'm replacing my old blanket from her last year (I sat on that thing for over a year!) with this new one!!! I like blankets.... I like 'em a LOT! Thank you!!!

*yawn* We got a late start getting up as mom was tired and sore from painting. I couldn't believe all the people who came to my party!!!

I woke up to a bday gift from my pawrents! I got a Whiska's City purple blanket!! YES PURPLE! And a bag of Friskies "Party Mix" threats (they were new at PetSmart I guess).

I wasn't in the mood to pose with my gifts but I got a few shots in. I wanted to party you see!

Thank you to my beautiful Wifey Allie for throwing me a Twilight Themed party!! I have the bestest Wife EVER!!! And did you see her new main picture? Beautiful painting!!! Thank you EVERYONE for making my bday so special!

Imagine a pink laptop!

Hondo got all giddy when he heard Allie's mom could have gotten a pink laptop had it been in stock... Bummer. I wonder if mom would have finally let me visit Allie in TX if I had supervision from well behaved Hondo!

I can't wait till I turn 3 on the 15th!!! I hear my parents are going shopping tomorrow for me. I really don't knead anything other than my Allie, but one can hope for a pink laptop :)

Dang, I had to go to the vet for my annual, and as mentioned earlier, had to get something expressed back there. Turns out it was mildly full, so the stinky bum that mom smelled on a bed was in fact BOOGERS' BUM! The Vet had told him that BOOGIE'S bum was full. *plans revenge on Boogie*

I should have checked the mail prior to my visit as there was a package from *Jaspurr and family* Holy pretty blanket! I got a really warm and soft blanket with all my favorite colors and some! It had different colored squares and in yes, my favorite colors purple and green were on there!!! I also got a pretty bday card and a bag of yummy "Natural Temptations: Wild Alaskan Salmon Flavor". Oooooooo I have NEVER had this flavor!

Thank you guys for my bday gift! I'd also like to thank Margo RKN for sending me some Hot Cocoa for my bday! That'll wash the cake down quite well!!! Thank you!

Pics to come after mom teaches :) Oh PS my visit was an A+!! I'm told I'm healthy, a very good weight (haven't gained in 2 years!) and that everything sounds good! My heart was pounding fast as I was nervous (I didn't want to go but Daddy calmed me down... I heart Daddy!)

I have a feeling 2009 will be a great year!! Naturally being married while starting to a new year is destined to be great!

I plan on eating a lot of great meals with my wife Allie as her litterbox maid just got a new stove. I love home cooked meals!

Mom keeps getting the date wrong as she was impatient and put up our 2009 Calenders after Catmas. She keeps looking to her right and it says January... We decided to put our HP: HBP calender in our computer room, Dad's UFC calender in the kitchen, and the Twilight Calender in the main bedroom.

A Sage Bed and food from Santa!

Santa paws and my pawrents (totally two DIFFERENT people!!!!!!!!) gave us a big box of Meow Mix "Wholesome Goodness" seafood pack and a sage thermal bed that plugs into the wall! We can't wait to try it!

I know you're all thinking "Dang, those kitties have a lot of beds". We do but they never go to waste. If you count all the rooms (living, dinning, master, spare, computer room) we have a boat load. Why sit on the floor and gather up fur for mom to vacuum when we can sit on a bed and save her the hassle :) hehe

Boogie's bday party and Catmas Goodies!

Wow! Boogie's bestie Pansy is throwing him a 5th bday party *HERE*

He turns 5 December 23, 2008 (Tuesday) so there's an all day party for him. The theme is Harry Potter and Tiki of course!!! I'm off to get my party shoes on :)

Also today we got a huge package from Monte and family! Inside were our catmas gifts and Boogie got a very nice bday gift (read his diary). We got: A cute stocking with Monte on the front and a candy cane inside, some cat food for Porkers, 2 holiday balls and a white festive mousie, a reindeer catnip filled toy, and a Santa paws play wand!! They also sent mom a YUMMY Yankee *sugar plum* which is one of mom's FAVORITE scents! Also she got two pairs of warm sockies (one has a cute cat on them) MOL!! Thank you so much guys!! We also got a nice picture card of Cannoli and Picasso in the mail :)

Speaking of cards, we also got a handsome picture card of Sammie and KiKi, a really pretty home made card from Remus and family, and Chrissy in NJ sent us a card WITH some of her cat furr inside!! MOL!! Thanks guys!!

Well, Allie and I are still on our honeymoon, but imagine my surprise when I woke up!

The UPS man delivered a package for me from... Mrs. Fidey!! I couldn't resist and opened it right away. Inside were two catnip cigars and a PURPLE crock collar with diamonds spelling "FIDO"! Trust me, they're real diamonds MOL :)

Hondo is all jealous of my bling and Boogie tried to lick my catnip cigar before I did, and I swatted at him!!! You didn't see me all up in HIS face when he got a cigar from Pansy!

Chillaxin' on our honeymoon

That's right! We're both on cloud 9 enjoying our Honeymoon!! Today we had this HUGE HUGE Tuna sandwhich for lunch and while eating, we saw a lot of Cockatoos! They were fun to chase until we got yelled at :)

Later we went to the beach and the waves were so rough. I got scared and wished I was on land tanning like Allie... She was smart to stay back!

Later I was still in awe of those Cockatoos that we went bird watching. It would have been more fun if we could have played with them, but having been yelled at earlier, we didn't want to chance it :) MOL

Back to honeymoon bliss!!!

Australia kicks tail!!

I never liked water before, but having snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef has changed my purrrspective on the whole water thing! Me and Allie are having a blast on our honeymoon!!! The first night we enjoyed this hugeeeeeeeeeee honeymoon suite. Inside there where catnip scented rose pedals all over the floor!! Man, they don't have those in the states!

The next morning we woke up and went snorkeling!! It was so much fun!! I think we look spiffy in our snorkeling gear :) We later went on a boat and got to catch our dinner which was served to us later that evening. Allie caught the biggest fish ever!!! That's my girl!!!

Off to take a nap, but we'll be posting pictures from our hotel tomorrow of our next adventure :)

We're Married!!!

Oooo! I'll be sending thank yous once we get time to relax, but right now we're off on our Honeymoon!!! Unkie Miles and Murray the First gave us an all expense paid Honeymoon to... *drum roll*

We're headed off, first class on Murray's wings to the Great Barrier Reef Islands for our honeymoon in Aus! We'll be at Hamilton Island and there's a ferry that will take us to Honeymoon Island!

We'll be snorkeling and boating and I hear there's beautiful flowers and birdies to see!!! Naturally, we'll be posting pictures later of our honeymoon :)

My BEST FRIEND EVER went to the bridge :(

Mom is crying while typing and is just so devastated... It is with deepest regret that I inform you that *Picasso* has passed onto Rainbow bridge.

Mom just got off the phone with Picasso's mom and we promised her we'd inform her friends in diaries, groups, and some personal pawmails.

As you've read in his latest diaries he hasn't been eating as much (and we know he had a good appetite), but his mom was concerned and brought him to the vet. On his way there, he started to breath very heavy since he had Cardiomyopathy. The vet did administer a Lasix shot which usually helps. His heart was hard to listen to as there was a lot of fluids in the heart. The vet said that he would be ok to go home as there wasn't much they could do that wasn't done already. They decided to let Picasso go home, try and relax as a vet visit is stressful for a LOT of cats. After Barb paid for the bill, she was 2 steps out of the vet's door when Picasso started to breath and make loud sounds.

We're all in disbelief, shock, and very upset to say that Picasso went to the bridge today due to congestive heart failure. His mom went WELL and beyond to care for Picasso... Our family is SO HONORED to have met him 2x. He truly is a remarkable cat. We have all received a very special angel from the Bridge who is looking down on all of us.

I'm so sorry Barb and Rob. We are beyond sad to hear of this news... *hugs*

Waiting for something...

The thing I ordered for Allie for Catmas should be arriving any day. We wanted to give a lil' something to our girls for Catmas. After all, Allie is my best friend and soon-to-be wife! Don't worry, I didn't spend all of my allowance :) I tried to do the "simple/creative" route, aka sending MYSELF but again, mom said "NO FIDO NO!"

I can't wait to get married! We're pretty sure it'll be December 15, but not sure of the time yet (evening but not too late). I should know by this weekend I hope. Picasso's my best dude and his mom won't know her work schedule until later in the week.

Yes, it's true... Me and Allie are getting married this month and EVERYONE is invited to share our special day in the virtual forums. It'll be December 14th or 15 (we're working out a few last minute things).

Almost December!

It's the last day of November on the East Coast. As always, we can't believe how fast time has flown! The weather is still cooler here compared to previous years. I think we're almost acclimated to VA's weather. Mom was emailing back and forth with Simba's mom earlier today. Poor Auntie Jen... She moved from AZ to VA and that's a drastic change in temp!

But yes, she's freezing too MOL! And to think, she's wayyyyyyyyy down south. The poor thing would freeze where we are as we're right on the VA/MD border.

Time to snuggle in my blanket that Allie's mom knitted me last year (it's one of my FAV blankets!) and sleep while mom continues to read the last Twilight book...

Did you all have a pawsome Thanksgiving! I'm sad that my dad has left for work on Turkey Day... But he's home all weekend :)

I'm all set for Catmas now. We have most of our shopping done. I have most of Allie's Catmas gift ready! We're exchanging gifts with our girls and a couple of besties. We told mom that WE don't want gifts from our pawrents. Instead we're gifting $ to Fancy Cats (the place where Boogie and Hondo were adopted from). I'm sure we'll get a couple of things, but I don't think Boogie will get his scratching post MOL!!!!!!!!

It's almost Allie and Murray's BDAY!!!!!!!!!!

In 30 min on the East Coast, they both will be celebrating their 3rd birthday Wednesday, November 26!!!! ! I can't wait!

I've gotten quite a few pawmails about my main picture! I'm not ashamed to kiss my girl Allie publicly :)

We're going to get married sometime in December!! A winter wedding, soooooooo romantic no?

I can't wait to see her dress! It sounds so pretty from what Hondo says! If it gets HIS approval, then it's smokin'

Mom weighed us a bit ago. We're all holding still at our weight, not gaining or loosing so that's great news! Me and Tiskers are the light weights. I'm 13.1 and he's ALMOST 14 pounds (but not quite). Boogie and Mittens are 18.1 but again, Mittens feels 2x heavier due to the dead weight. Hondo is perfect at 15 pounds!

Ooooooo I can't wait to see Allie on our big day! I know her dress will be STUNNING!!! *blush* She has the most amazing furrr I've ever seen or smelt!!! And now that winter is coming, I can only imagine how plush it is!!!

Speaking of... Her and her brother Murray have a birthday next Wednesday! That's the day after my dad turns 28!!! Yes, mom is older than dad. But then Allie is older than me by a few months... What can I say... Me and dad like older women MOL! Although mom's 30 and that's not old (she says otherwise though)

My friend Michis!

Ooooooo I made a new friend! Michis is in the HP group with my family and I must give them props as they replied to our group mail about "Twilight". Michis and mommy said the book is really good, and we were convinced enough to buy the entire series. My mom figured that if they were as good as Michis and everyone else said, it'd stink like litter if we finished the first book, WANTING MORE. So that's why we jumped the gun and purchased all 4 :)

WOW! VA went BLUE!

So it's official! Obama is our new president. Mom and dad voted a week and a half ago via absentee. To our surprise, VA went blue which I think it's the first time since like 1960 or so! FL even went blue! Now if only we could work on Allie's state of TX MOL!

The weather has turned WARM again! So mom is bringing out her shorts :) Funny how 3-4 days ago, she was "freezing".

Mom sees her Cardiologist in 14 hours for her 3 month followup. Mom's bp is under control, however mom plans on asking for "cheaper" drugs. $70 a month is a bit steep as they're tire 4 drugs or something (her friend is a Pharmaceutical rep). Mom kneads tire 1-2 aka, the $10 drugs MOL

DDP AGAIN?!?!?!

WOW! I'm a DDP again!! Gosh I feel like Boogie, aka Piggie! :) I share this day with my besties *CALLISTA* and *CALVIN*

I'd like to actually take this time to let cats know that while we all appreciate rosettes and goodies and giving them out, starting today mom isn't going to be buying extras. We were meowing with a certain pink loving Obama cat and dang, we've spent too much on Zealies!

I went into my history and it looks like a year ago, Catster started introducing the concept of buying zealies. If the money went towards an animal shelter or something that'd be pawsome, but I don't know that it goes towards anything other than providing $ to the developers? I totally understand that someone kneads to get paid.

Mom has spent probably over a thousand on zealies in the past year and that's just crazy... She lost count after counting how many all 6 of us have given out and lost count at $700.... The economy isn't so great, and mom said we must be more stingy. Besides she always donates $ at Catmas to "FANCY CATS" as that's where we adopted Boogie and Hondo from!! Mom's a housewife and she'd like it to stay that way sans teaching for a couple hours for extra money, but if we keep buying zealies, she won't be happy MOL!

Anyway, the movie "Max Payne" was pretty good! Dad likes action movies and him being a fan of the game, well... He HAD to see it... Mom was happy as she got a small popcorn as she has a salt tooth (she doesn't do sweets).

YAY! Allie's daddy will be coming home tomorrow and his surgery went well!!! What a relief!!! I know Allie will take super duper good care of him :) I begged mom to let me fly out to TX to be with Allie but she said, "NO NO NO FIDO! Don't you dare" MOL

Since I knew Allie would be worried about her daddy, I made sure I was extra bad this morning... Mom woke up at 8:30ish to a "MEROWWWWW" as I bunny kicked Hondo too hard :) Seriously, Hondo kneads to STOP worrying about breakin' a nail!

Tomorrow

Allie's daddy gets his surgery!! Man seemed to have failed her obligation to get me a doctors outfit *glares at her*. But in her defense she was helping dad's work by developing a webpage for them :)

I know all will go good tomorrow 'cause Nurse Allie will be taking care of her dad! Just as long as she doesn't knead too much? MOL!

We'll be dropping off some purrrs later as I'm sure their secretary is busy! Why? Her brother Murray is a DDP along with my big brother Boogie! YAY!!

Surgery...

Gosh I gotta find a doctor outfit and STAT!! You see, my girl Allie's dad is getting surgery next Tuesday and I told her since she's nurse Allie, I am Doctor Fido!

Mom kneads to get a picture soon so we can prepare her dad for surgery! I know Nurse Allie will do a great job as she's very caring :) I'm lucky to have her! PAWS OFF TOMS!

I'm back!

Well for small spurts now that mom figured out how to make the Catster font bigger so she can read (Holding cntrl down and moving the middle mouse button forward).

Oh how I missed my Allie and friends!!! Dad dropped the ball it appears on the Meowathon! He didn't submit mom's portion for the meowathon! MOL We're just now reading the group mail :)

Mom gets to shower for the first time in 5 days (I KNOW I KNOW). She washed her face and body parts, but to get an actual shower will happen in a few. She has to be careful not to let the water pound down on her face. So 48 stitches later, her left upper lid is swollen and lower right lid is swollen. They said that it can take MONTHS for the swelling to fully heal. But the lower lashes are NO LONGER touching mom's eye ball! YAY!

The upper lid was almost an eye lid lift purrr say. They had to redo her upper lid so the inner corner didn't touch her eyeball (the rest were fine) but man, for those mom's out there wanting eye lid surgery? It is NOT fun she says... Thank cod for insurance as mom would never do it for fun. Her eyes look tight due to the stitches.

Anymeow, time to let my bros all do a diary and then mom gets to shower!

Last night I was keeping mom up so finally she had to put me in the spare room all by myself. I wasn't happy but I do run a muck when I play... I gotta make sure mom gets her sleep tonight as she has to get up EARLY for surgery.

I'm going to be missing my Allie girl! Mom's surgery is set for THIS Wednesday, so we'll probably be gone until Sat or Sun? Dad might have to take over our diaries for a few days? Is he up for the challenge???

I've meowed a few times before in my diaries that I often meow to myself... Nothing wrong with rationalizing things with yourself no? I do this daily and often when my pawrents are eating, or when they had just fallen asleep.

Well today mom was doing the dishes, and she heard me start to meow to myself. So she left the dishwasher and grabbed the camera in hopes of recording me for my Allie girl. Just as she changed the setting to record movies, I stopped :)

Oooooooooooh so close :) I do however, want to get myself recorded as it's pretty entertaining :)

My Halloween Costume!

I decided to sport a pawsome orange boa and the top of the pumpkin costume Hondo and PorkChop are sportin'. The pumpkin we bought 2 years ago at Build A Bear and that was Boogers' outfit then :) Obviously it no longer fits him MOL

Oooooooooo did my new Halloween page scare you? It should have :) I can't believe it took mom 4 days to get our Halloween pages up! Dang that kitten of ours! Taking up her free time!

The weather is cooling down and that's a good thing! Mom hates hot weather! She never tans as she says it's not good for you, but mainly 'cause she hates being HOT!

Last night we had our Meowathon in the HP group and it went very well! We changed the time to 2 hours earlier to make things easier on Pretty Paws, aka my nephew and Titch :)

It's true... I love his bed. Even though it was intended for him, my philosophy is... You snooze? You loose!

Me and Mittens are dominating over his bed and he doesn't seem to mind surprisingly. Hondo is a very laid back cat, and if teased, he'll get up and leave.

I'm not ashamed that I'm in his bed either! You see, I have this beautiful fiancee Allie and I'm secure in my fur. I can't wait to marry her this month sometime! She's looking for dresses still :)

WOW! Today is a big day!

For starters *HARRY* turns 1 year old today! What a handsome fellow! There will be an all day party *HERE* held but unkie Hondo. The theme is Harry Potter 'cause well... He was named after THE HP!!!

Also today is *HAZEL LUCY AND BUDDIE'S* 3rd annifurrsary together! WOW!!! They were one of the first catsters to get married we're told. We wish them many more pawsome years and memories together!!!!

Locked out of the bedroom?!?!

WAHHHHHH! Lately me and the raggies have been running a muck at night, errr, the wee hours in the morning. Dad's on nights so he gets home around 7AM. Naturally mom is asleep. Well like clockwork, I have been running a muck around 8-9 am! So what did my parents do? They put all of us in their bedroom and shut the door...

Only problem? THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME!!!!!!!!! I was roaming in the living room all alone *pouts* They will have to make it up to me... Ahhhh yes... They will!!!

So me and Allie are working on our wedding!

Many of you know we had to postpone our wedding since Allie's dad had to get things done on behalf of his health. Then mom had to get things done too for her heart. In 6 days mom sees the family Doc to get medical clearance. Again, mom's bp is looking pawsome and the Cardiologist already signed her off for surgery Oct. 15

Well we're planning on getting married in October sometime and of course, everyone is invited :) I know Allie is looking for a dress and I have it easy. I just gotta wear a tux. I am sure Hondo's tux was like some haut couture or another, so that might due. I just know my mom said I could NOT come nekked and wear my forever tux :)

Harry Potter 10th Annifurrsary!

Today the UPS man came and delivered a book mom forgot she ordered!! The 10th Annifurrsary HP and the Sorcerer's Stone arrived! It's the same as the original 1st, except that the cover art is different, and in the beginning there are a couple of pictures not in the standard version.

Mom collects HP stuff so it was a must for her collection. It's cool as this is a first print 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 MOL

I missed my Allie and friends and am happy to hear she has been eating a lot w/ Harry!

We are back on catster now after a week hiatus and thank you again for giving mom some great advice. We will be thanking you all later tonight purrrsonally. *hugs*

Eye surgery is set!!!

WOOT! I come with good news :)

First, Allie's dad is home safe and is recovering from his surgery! YAY! I can only imagine how miserable she was without her daddy... See, we both love our dad's to bits... *hugs and purrrs daddy of Allie*

Now my good news... Mom just came back from the Eye surgeon as she wanted to tell him why she had to cancel her appointment and just to touch base again. Well, her appointment is Oct 15 :) Now here's the good news...

The appointment lady told mom that she has to not only get cleared by the family doctor, but also the Cardiologist since her BP was an issue last time. Mom wasn't too thrilled w/ that but she called. GOOD NEWS! Since mom just saw the Cardiologist, what.... 2 weeks ago? Her bp was 120ish/low 80ish. AKA mom is cleared for surgery!!! So we gave the Cardiologist the surgeon's info so they could fax their clearance.

Mom will see the family doc Sept 24th and naturally, if mom got clearance from the Cardiologist, the fam doc sure as meow will let mom get surgery ::knock on wood::. After all, mom's bp has been in the 120/70's as of late :) WOOT!

Me!! A DDP!!!

YAY!!! Mom just signed on and saw that I was a DDP!!

Yesterday, I did in fact get more Fidey time with dad. Our parents had to get some special cat food and returned some. Then they bought a few things, went to Target, the grocery store, and then home.

While mom made a stir-fry for dinner, dad gave me extra Fidey lovin' time :) Later that evening I even sat on top of the sofa NEAR mom! I know! Mom and dad were shocked :) Mom noticed I wasn't purring (I only do that for dad) and when mom put her ear to my chest, dad said my ears flattened MOL!!!

Man, last night's meowathon just wasn't the same without my Allie girl! Her pawrents and their friends got a bite to eat. I hope they brought home food for my girl!

Not much is new with me... Today I helped mom clean. I know to get out of the way when we hear that evil vacuum cleaning go! Tiskers and Mittens though enjoy the loud machine. They seem mesmerized or something... Crazy cats...

Mom said I gained 2 ounces MOL!! I've been 13 pounds and healthy for quite sometime. I still can't get over how our raggie brothers weigh more than all of us!! CRAZY!

Oooooooo I've been on Catster for 2 years, been with my furever family for 2 years and BOY OH BOY! Back off Boogie! This cake is MINE!

I woke up to a big old cupcake from my bestest mousie dude, Picasso and family! And what better to drink it down than with the yummy pink drink from Rocky Ann! Thank you so much guys!

Today is also Allie's mom's bday! I'm almost POSITIVE it is because I remember her saying we were meant to be as I came home today and it was her mom's bday!

Mom's new medicine (both) make her hot, tired, a bit dizzy, etc., but it's just the meds working into her system. So I probably won't be on before we go to bed, but maybe dad will take over our pawmails? Mom has 19 to return and she usually gets them done in a day. He's taking of work early as he needs to get mom banana's as the meds will take some potassium away.

The good news is mom's bp today was 137/99! A record low! Still weird though how at the dr it was back in BAD BAD levels!

Cardiologist update--News is ok, but not great...

Ok, mom just got back from her 3.5 hour Cardiologist appointment. A lot of the long lulls were from resting and letting fluids "absorb".

Mom got poked 2x as the IV didn't take--ouch! But she didn't take her meds for 12 hours as told and was fasting. So she gets there, they take her BP. It was 170/99 (factoring in the white coat and not being on BP meds for 12+ hours). So they did a few tests including the dreaded stress test.

Now, minutes prior to the stress test, they took her BP again. 188/103 (something like that) and the Dr. was immediately concerned and gave mom 2 pills to lower it to a safe level. It didn't go down as much as she'd like but the test had to be done and they were monitoring her vitals.

So the stress test.. She said it wasn't fun! The treadmill was at a SLOW pace. Literally left foot... right foot.... left foot... But they had injected two liquids into her IV and as soon as they did? OH BOY!

The dr. even said "Do you feel warm and like you're gasping for air?" Mom said "YES". It was a shock but the doctor assured her when they stop the test, mom will be able to breath. Mom did about 5 minutes and they increased the resistance and dang, mom wasn't panting but the tight feeling in the chest was nearing to be unbearable. Seriously, mom has done the elliptical for 45 minutes and this stress test felt like (assuming) if mom did the elliptical for 5 hours!

Then they did more tests (some machine that x-rayed her for 15 minutes) and she had an ultrasound on her heart prior to these tests. Mom has to go back next Tuesday and hopefully the new meds will help. She's taking:

Caduet 10/mg/20mg and Benicar HCT 40mg/12.5mg

The bad news is that mom's bp an hour after the stress test had increased MORE. 220/112!!! :( So mom went home with a 24 hour monitoring/recording BP cuff that goes off every 30 minutes. So mom had to cancel teaching music lessons tonight... Can't let her drive w/ the cuff going off!

The dr. did say, given mom's age (30) and even if mom were to loose 15 pounds, it's definitely Genetics. Problem is, mom's adopted... So we shall see what happens. Mom isn't too happy now but she knows the Cardiologist will find out something a family doctor wouldn't be able to...

I get my 2nd Candle on my PINK cake tomorrow!!!

Oooooooooooo I can't wait to get my pink candle tomorrow! Tomorrow also marks my 2 year annifurrsary with my furrever home! Yup that's right! I came home 2 years ago!

ALSO tomorrow is Allie's mom's bday! I know this as we were destined to be together!! She told me so and you know how it goes... The woman is always right :)

I heart and miss Allie!!!

I read my beautiful Allie Girl's diary and oh how I miss her too!!! The only good thing from these meds is that mom gets so much sleep that when she goes to bed around 10pm now, she manages to get up around 7am!

She hasn't done that since High School!! We're huge night owls here and for over 7 years mom was used to going to bed around 3am, and getting up around noon or later!

Thank you all for your pawmails with suggestions and side effects that mom should look out for. She has her dr. apt in 3 hours (follow up) where she'll inform the dr. that she is seeing the cardiologist tomorrow. The meds didn't really do anything... BP is still 140/102. As HP says, "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Love ya Allie!

Why we've been less active on catster...

A few of you (close friends and the HP group) are aware that we've been a bit less active for the past week. Granted, we still haven't been great with groups other than in the HP one, but we wanted to inform you all why...

It's nothing too serious as it's on it's way to being controlled, but a few of you may remember our mom saying she was getting eye surgery to fix her lashes and to prevent them from scratching her cornea.

Well she had to get medically cleared for surgery and last Wednesday she had her doctors appointment. To her horror, she found out her BP was off the charts: 220/1xx!! She currently has medicine but it's been making her tired (she has been up for about 6 hours on ave each day), dizzy, and she has had an off and on headache.

She has a follow up Wednesday. BUT she's actually seeing a cardiologist Thursday. Dad's co-worker has had high BP for years and none of the doctors could prescribe the "right" combo of medicine. Well he was rushed to the hospital while at work due to his BP and there he met w/ a cardiologist (who will work on mom!). For the first time in 5 years he got the right medicine and was diagnosed as having an enlarged heart. We hope mom is ok and we along w/ dad have been taking care of her :) But we wanted to let you know why we haven't replied to some of your pawmails.

DDP at last!

Oooooooo I'm a DDP today!! I haven't been picked since January! I know shocker right? Dang Boogers is the DDP pig in the family!

So an update on my previous diary which is the DDP. They couldn't deliver it to Lancelot. Ok, so we messed up PSC with PCS, but everything else was right! EVIL! We're picking up the package today as mom is picking up her contacts and glasses today.

Other than that, I hope you all have a pawsome weekend! I hope to go for a stroll as the weather cooled down a bit. Me and Boogie are strolling buddies :)

HISSSSSSSSSSSS! I just wrote Lancelot in hopes he can soften the blow to Mago :( So, check this out... I sent them a package June 23... Mom missed the mail man and saw that there was a note saying something from Mago arrived!

We're like "Oh? A Package?", but then mom decided to check the status on the package to them! 'Cause if they sent something and it got to US but they didn't get THEIR stuff? That's not right!

*HORROR* The tracking to them said "Arrived in _____, VA" TODAY... Ummmmmmmm mom thinks they either resent their package due to not being able to find them? or delivered the package to Mago and Lion to US instead!

Me and Allie will be tying the tail :) We're going to have a short engagement which is good 'cause her and I are busy always getting into trouble. If we spent months planning, we wouldn't have time to get into trouble!

Right now it's raining... I hope it cools off VA. I haven't gone for a stroll in weeks! The past 2 weeks were like 90+ with icky humidity. Hondo's fur got all frizzy. I'm not kittenin'!! It does!!!

Ok, time to bug the raggies--they chase me and I chase them but I'm faster!!! Love ya Allie!

I was telling Allie, the ONLY thing that could hinder Sept 6th (we'll know by July 10th) is mom's surgery. She is having a minor surgery and has a consult July 10th for Entropion... Meh....

HP Meowathon done via CHAT on catster!!!!!!!

Oooooooooooo last night my fiancee Allie, Lancelot, PJ and my family tried out the new chat feature for our weekly get together where we discuss Harry Potter! It was pretty cool!

No more having to refresh, reload, go to the last page of the thread, etc., it was fast like a chat!

So we'll be doing that and then pasting the transcripts into our group at the end of the hour!

It was fun! The only problem was you of course couldn't see each others' face and you couldn't switch family members. So naturally Boogie shoved his name onto the chat before I did :(

We're already on the 4th book, "Goblet of Fire" and next week we'll be on chapter 17-20 :)

OMC OMC OMC!!! Today me and my beautiful... FIANCEE *ALLIE* and I celebrate our 1 year annifurrsary together!!! It was a year ago, we went on our furrrst date, nervous as all meow, and at the end of a fun dinner, we decided to date :) Rest is history!

So after careful planning, I proposed to my now fiancee Allie! If you check out the HUGE RING I got her, you can see the proposal video :) For the past week or so, mom has been trying to capture me Meowing as that was the original plan: Video tape me talking as I often do! But I was nervous yo!!! Anyway, I'm on cloud 9!!! OMC!!! I'm engaged!!! She's the most beautiful girl! She's made a difference in my life! Totally made me more calm. You see, we both were (sometimes still true) T-R-O-U-B-L-E!! But she's turned me into a better cat!

A cat who purrrfers males?!?! Ok, so we all know I'm a daddy's boy! BIG TIME! Well, my grandpawrents just left and while they were here? I was soooooo loving grandpaw! Grandmaw scared me and I went "POOF". I'm not sure why. In the past when I met them, I was social, but then I was younger.

While my grandpawrents were here, if Daddy wasn't giving me lovies, I got them from Grandpaw! But it's weird as I didn't want them from grandmaw or my meowmy! So maybe I purrrfurrr males? Don't know?

Anyway, I'm glad to be back on Catster, and oh how I missed my Allie Girl!!! Love ya!!

I'm a daddy's boy!!

It is true. While dad loves all of us, he and I are super close. I'm 110% a daddy's boy! When he falls asleep on the couch? I'm the one snuggled up in his arms right next to him. When he comes home from work? I'm one of the first to greet him at the door. When he wakes up early in the morning and feeds us a can of moist food? Dad always makes sure I get my share and hand delivers my bowl as I back off during feedings to ensure I don't get trampled by Boogie and the raggies.

Dad is my hero! He's very strong and we even work out together! I sit and watch him workout in our workout room. I aspire to be big like him. While I'm thin like he is (even though our pictures, according to him, give him this weird double chin he doesn't' have in real life), I am tall like him. So we have that bond of being able to reach things that are out of reach to most.

He never yells at me as mom takes care of that. I think deep down dad feels bad when he does yell, so it's not often that I'm in trouble with him MOL!

I love my daddy to bits! LOVE HIM! So today I wish everyone a Happy Father's Day! I feel so lucky to have a pawsome dad who spoils me ROTTEN :)

I also wanted to give a shout out to *BOB* as it's his Birthday today!!!!!!!

11 Months!

Phew! Can you believe it? Today is my 11 month annifurrsary with my Allie Girl! I can't believe it!!! It seems like yesterday we went on our first date!! HOLY CATS!!

So next month is our year annifurrsary! Hmmm. I bet she's going to want to be wined and dinned :) I can't believe it's almost been a year! *blush* Time to look at all her purrrrty pictures :) She's so amazing :)

So many memories...

Our family has had so many pawsome times with Simba. It's no wonder she was so loved! Her sense of humor, meowlarious diaries, unique rosettes, and most importantly, her kindness and friendship, will always be a fond memory for myself and others.

It is with much difficulty that I meow about a dear friend. Her name is *SIMBA* and she is one of the most loved cats on catster. She will be leaving us this Friday and words can't express how sad we are...

I was sorta bad today... I was playing with Hondo, and I played a bit hard again. I don't know my strength! But I was wrestling with him, and play bitting him and I guess I bit too hard as he went, "MEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" really loud. Then mom got mad and put me in time out... And I was crying all alone in the room... Ok ok... It was only like 5 minutes, and I did have food, water, litterbox in the room... But OH! The injustice!!!

Not much is new with us. Mom is still working on her German, and it's going ok. Again, she can't spell it well, but she can at least read it :)

I can't believe my big brother Boogie gets married in a MONTH!! HOLY CATS!!! I'm all dressed as I am a tuxedo cat :) I can't wait to take Allie with me as my date! I know she'll be extra cute :)

I think it's official... I am the thinnest and lightest cat in the family :) YAY ME!!! Seriously, what's wrong with my brothers!! They're just jealous of me!!!

Ok, so I was a very good cat and didn't cause problems other than my usual vocal warm-ups. I am very vocal like Mittens. The only thing is I don't meow when I want food. I tend to meow to myself!

So being today is Meowmy's Day I kept waking mom up by going, "MROW mrowww meowwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" it's loud and if mom can figure out how to transfer and upload my recorded voice, she'll share with catster!

Yes, I, Fido, still meow and talk to myself. But I'm secure as Allie loves me no matter what :)

Like I can be in the same room with meowmy and I'll just talk to MYSELF. Not her, but good old ME :)

On our new tv, we don't play games though... Unkie Rob said with a HD TV, there have been problems where the images "burn" into the tv. We didn't hear that but we did research and it's true!!

So when Game 6 comes out for HP, we'll have to move the PS3 into the bedroom as mom loves the HP games (She can't beat PoA or CoS) MOL!!!!

Furminator!

MOL I can only imagine how much fur comes off of Allie. I read her sister's diary and interesting about her (Phoebe) not having an undercoat! Maybe I am in the same boat? When mom brushes me, I really don't shed much.

Funny story. When Allie and I first started dating, I wanted to send her some of my fur. After MANY brush sessions, I only mustard like .0000000000001 oz of fur :( So mom cut the tip of my tail and sent that fur to Allie. I had a SQUARE tail tip but it was so worth it! It took 3 months to grow back MOL MOL!

I gotta agree with Pansy... She mentioned how Boogie might be "expecting" due to his recent food cravings: Meow Mix, Tiki, and now Salsa and Chips!!! That would explain his ever growing buda belly :)

So I read that my girl Allie got Furminated! Of all the cats in our home, I shed the least. When Hondo gets Furminated, a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEE amount of fur comes off each time. Boogie gets a decent amount, Tiskers is working on his fur mousies, and Mittens? Forged'a bout it!!! He hates being brushed!!

Time to spread rumors about Boogie :)

For the record... I, FIDO, wrote my diary first about the Thunderstorms! And whoooooooo happens to get a DDP honor today after reading MY diary (which is so private, only my eyes and my friends eyes SHOULD be able to read)?

No Tornado's near us!

YIKES! My poor Allie girl was all worried that I was swept away from the evil windy weather! But don't fret friends! We're all ok! We live near the VA/MD border, so we're way up north. Like wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up north. I'm glad we're ok. The rain was a bit hard throughout the day and I did hear a few BOOMS, but no damage.

We actually needed the rain so that's good. It cooled things off which, as Hondo always says, is pawsome as his hair gets frizzy! MOL! MOL! Anyway I gotta get off the puter. Evil rain!

Someone has stolen over 1400 of my treats! I would say it was Boogers, but he doesn't look 1400 treats heavier. Who done it?!?!

I can't believe it's almost May. I hope the rain stops. It gets humid in No. VA which is something mom never took into account when they moved here. You'd think DC/No. VA would be nice and chill... Quite the opposite!

HISSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Ok, so today we got the blue screen of death!!!! OMC!! Mom freaked as this has never happened! Her friend said that the fact that we've NEVER seen it is an unusual thing as it happens with windows he said. He uses Linx or something like that. Anymeow, so it said that if this is the first time it happened on the system to reboot.

Ok, done...

Then it happened AGAIN!!! So mom called Dell and the lady helped (we hope) and she took over our computer (which was cool) and said the problem was from our virus program. So she had to uninstall it, and had us re-install it and she said that should help.

Hope so 'cause mom was on the phone for over an hour with the tech person. HISSSSSSS EVIL COMPUTERS!

Ooooooooo 3 of our besties have a birthday today! One involves *GIMME* and *ELE'* !! They're siblings and from the same litter!! They are celebrating their 7th birthday today! There's an all day party *HERE* !!

Wow, April sure is the month of birthdays!! I just recovered from Eve's pawome bday bash and now today is *RIVER'S 2nd BIRTHDAY* and *ROCKY ANN'S 17th BIRTHDAY* !!! I hope you two have a pawsome birthday!!!

River has a new brother!!

OMC!! River's family adopted a new baby brother! He is adorable!!!! You all remember how their family had to have 2 cats go to the bridge recently: Molly and Dexter. As one would imagine, I'm sure River was lonely...

I'm staying thin!

Yup, my big brothers all look at me with their jealous eyes. They want to know what my secret is to staying so svelte! Like I'd tell them :) But it's true, I'm going to be the lightest cat in the family. I take after my human dad: tall and skinny!!! Boogers is like mom: think of food, gain poundage w/o eating food MOL.

Pretty soon Mittens will officially weigh more than me and it's only a matter of time until Tiskers is too.

I'm the least active cat in the family now. I was pretty hyper but the kittens are calming me a bit. Weird no?

Moderation is the key. Boogers and Mittens are the first to inhale, I mean, eat their food.. Me and Tiskers still wait for everyone else to finish and then we eat. Hondo is busy moochin for treats.

I have a twin!!!

Yes it's true!!! A lot of my friends have their twin, heck, my brother Boogers found his, the lil' dudes are literally twins, and I do believe Hondo found his!

But guess who my twin is! His name is... *RILEY!!!* He actually found me the other day but now we're officially friends. I was telling him how I don't see many tux cats with one side that's as black as mine. But low and behold, he looks like me and I look like him :)

He doesn't however have a chip out of his ear like me, but yay!!! Be sure and befriend him!!!

Haven't gained a pound like my bros!

Yup, as always I'm the thin one. I'm like dad. I can eat and eat and not gain! Meanwhile mom will dream about a candy bar and then she gains MOL! So my official weight is 13.1 pounds. I think I lost a few ounces? I don't know for sure but I know the last time I went to the vet I was 13 and some :) WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO

See, I eat to live, not live to eat like someone I know *coughBOOGIE*

Glad my Allie Girl is A-O-K

PHEW! Allie is feeling better. She just had a lil' 24 hour bug. I told her I'd walk over there, but she told me why that might make her mom panic :) So next time I'll have to suggest strolling or flying. Besides, it would have taken me furrrever to get there, and by then, she would have been 110% better furrr sure!

The meowathon tonight was canceled since a friend of ours had some sad news. Just as well as it might have only been me and Allie, and we'd get into trouble furr sure if it was just us two! :)

9 months!

Yesterday me and Allie celebrated our 9 month annifurrsary together!! What a great 9 months it has been that's for sure! I would have written this late yesterday night but Catster was down furrr a few hours furrr a bath. Better Catster than ME!!! OMC! I was curious at that water substance, but man oh man is that stuff ICKY!!

I don't know how Boogers can play IN the water and furrr FUN!!! Crazy cat that he is. I swear we're NOT related!!!

Allie should have her Easter yum yums any day... Mail is messed up. Mom sent the girls gifts all on the same day and Allie hasn't gotten hers yet. It took Rue Rue a week to get it and she's less than an hour from us! MOL!! Yet Eve all the way in NY got hers in 2 days! GO FIGURE!

Sad Day...

Easter bunny is coming!

Ooooooooo tomorrow the Easter Bunny comes! That usually means we get extra treats and food :) Boogie and the twins better not bogart he food! Me and Hondo are the last ones to eat as those three PUSH themselves in front of the bowls.

Allie should have her Easter gift anyday. Eve and assuming, Rue got there's already--Rue might be in Japan or something... I hope she likes it! I rubbed my scent on the package :)

A week later

Feliway still rocks!! Since Petsmart online and at the actual stores didn't have the Drinkwell platinum in stock, mom ordered 2 at Dr. Foster/Smith as they were on sale! $20 off each! So mom ordered two, some Vit E tablets, and some more Feliway for us as it was cheaper than PetSmart which was surprising as we've always thought PetSmart was the cheapest.

Not much to report here. I think my girl Allie looks SO DANG CUTE in her pink dress :) Awwwwwwww Dang, she's turning purrrtier if pawsible!!! Her fur looks oh so soft! Ok time to dream of my girl!

Seriously, Feliway is sweet!

So many of you know my big brother Hondo is awaiting his blood tests. To help him pee in the box (only one accident to date), we have 3 feliway plugins in our home. Now, as I've said before, I've been getting more mellow in my old age (Turning 2 has been good!). But now that we have Feliway? I"m even MORE calm!

Mom said that we should have Allie get some! MOL! I bet her parents might like that :) Nahhhhhhhhh she can make up for the trouble I'm NOT getting into!

Speaking of Allie, today is my Unkie's (her daddy's) 19th birthday! OMC!! He'll no longer be a teenager after this year! Happy Birthday Unkie!

What gives? Mom got rid of our green St. Patty's Day backgrounds! HMPH! I miss green! I guess it's a good thing that mom put purple on my page at least. I will admit, green isn't for everyone. I like dark forest green, not catster green MOL!

Allie is sure running a muck at her home! I'm so proud of her! I hope she doesn't mind that I'm starting to calm down in my age. Mittens has taken over my title of "BAD CAT! NO! DO NOT EAT OR TOUCH OR PLAY WITH THAT". Tiskers is so calm compared to Mittens. I gotta admit, I did help "train" Mittens :) *wink*

Dang, took my mom long enough!! She was hoping the Voki peeps would have some more cat selections (which they do), but the only one that resembled me was the one Boogers took... So I decided to be Dumbledore MOL!!

Things are going well here. I got my nails clipped today, brushed, and then did my usual... You know, sleep, play, sleep, eat, sleep, litterbox, sleep...

I can't believe it's almost March! I can't wait till St. Patrick's Day is over. Don't get me wrong, I love green (one of my 2 favorite colors) but I want to decorate my page all pretty for Easter!

Ever get a naughty streak?

So before the raggies came, I was the wild child. I sometimes play rough (Hello? Have you seen the boxing video staring me and Hondo which is still the #1 video?). Well, since they arrived, I have been mellow! Maybe it's because the kittens are so wild they make me look mellow? I don't know?

Well, yesterday I tackled Boogers and of COURSE he comes crying to mom and mom looks at me and goes, "FIDO! Behave! Leave poor Boogie alone" and then I said "FINE"! Before she could blink, I went to the next victim, aka Hondo. Again mom said, "FIDO! NO! LEAVE POOR HONDO ALONEEEEEEEEEEE"

What's a cat to do....

I hate UPS not FedEx! MOL

So mom was leaving at 6pm to teach a few lessons at her students' house when she noticed that the UPS man just pulled up and parked BEHIND mom... But she didn't see that until the UPS man had passed mom on the stairs.. HISSSS But she quickly realized that the UPS man was going to our door! So the time she warmed up her car, the UPS man was leaving. Mom called dad and asked if the UPS man left something for "Fidey" and dad said "YEAH! Allie sent something!!" So mom got home around 7:30 and then they went to pick up dinner which was Mexican :) Mmmmmmmmmm

When they were done, I FINALLY got to open my gifts from my Allie Girl! Oooooooooooo I got some pawsome goodies! She sent me a very cute card that looks like her, some yummy catnip, a refillable bear that you can stick catnip inside, a pawsome big red plush heart that says "Happy Valentine's Day", and a bunch of toys that are colored, Black and White like ME!!! EEEEEEEEEEE Thank you SO much Allie!!! Of course, my brothers had to play with the toys before I got to them all, but I made sure I claimed the heart and gave it a good bunny kick MOL!

Harry Potter goodness!

We just got a huge surprise in the mail! Low and behold, a HARRY POTTER BED!! OMC! *MERCY, RILEY AND CO* sent us our very own bed! Guess who claimed it first... ME!! Surprisingly I beat Boogers and my bro! But soon after, Mittens came in and pushed me off.... Well, he actually bopped me, but same thing! But THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!!

Sorry we've been MIA the past week but we're still watching Hondo. They're going to do a culture on his your-in as there are NO crystals! YAY!!! But there is bacteria in his urine... *sigh*

5 year Annifurrrsary for Mom and Dad!

Some interesting facts...

1) Mom and dad are celebrating their 5 year annifurrsary tomorrow.
2) Mom is going to be 30 this April. And her dad will be 60, making them 30 years apart.
3) Grandpaw and Grandma also have been married 30 years longer come this April than my pawrents.
4) My mom, grandma, and grandpaw have for the past 30 years (well, almost 30 years) celebrated their bdays on the SAME day of the month. While mom is April, Grandma is July and Grandpaw is June, that's pretty cool.

Hey! Where's MY picture???

So, ok.. We have two large pictures of me in our house, both which were from me being COTW a year ago. Unfurrtunetly, Catster doesn't give out framed pictures from Art.com anymore (as far as I know). Anymeow, we ended up getting two of me, each with a different frame and matte. So one is in the living room, and one in the Master bedroom.

Now, these are just irrelevant details no? Surely there should be MORE large sized pics of me right? Well, I know mom ordered the Free Shutterfly 16x20 picture that Catster has going on now. I thought she was kidding when she didn't order one of ME.... But she wasn't!

The picture arrived yesterday (or the day before?) and it's of... THE TWINS!!! Not the baseball team in MN, mom's home town.... But of the LIL' FURRRY DUDE TWINS!

Allie is bad like me!

Ooooooo I just read Allie's diary! From the sounds of it, her and Murray are running a muck :) I hate to admit this but my bad streak is sorta mellowing out a bit now that I turned 2... Don't get me wrong, I still have my moments, but the lil' dudes are way more wild than me!

Mom hates how they test her patience. Like they'll jump up on mom's Harry Potter book shelf (which she freaks) and mom will say "NO NO! DOWN!" and Mittens will look at her like "lalalalala I can't hearrrrrrrrr youuuuuuuuuuu" so she gets up from sleeping (light sleeper) and only THEN does Mittens get down...

Tiskers doesn't jump on things, only Mittens. BUT Tiski always tackles Mittens AND Boogers.. He better watch out furrr Boogie, he's 3x heavier than him! MOL!!!

Oooooo I am a DDP today!!! HOLY CATS! The diary that was picked was about my annifurrsary with Allie :) So you know that won me extra grooming and brownie points with my girl :)

7 months with my Allie Girl!

Today me and my Allie Girl celebrate 7 months together! 7 moths later both of us are causing havoc in our house :) It's fun to be terrible two's together :) Although I continue to be a bit more calmer since the arrival of the twins. I wonder why? Surely I'm not trying to be a role model for them because if I were? Those twins would be grounded furrr life!

I have a few cats to thank: Calvin and Co, Pansy and Sully and PJ!! Once mom knows how to do codes, she's good to go! We tried for weeks to follow PJ's tutorial but mom messed up our pages so bad! And then trying to add these vertical black frames was a mess.. Mom finally gave up and when she made the center 644x125, she just took a black brush in photoshop and did a vertical line! MOL! But then Calvin dummy proofed it and now we can adjust the canvas size! PHEW! Thanks again!

It's sorta fun! We're going to tackle the fonts and rosette box color as we're using Samoa's by default and I want purple or green not pink! Mom will work on that later :)

I still can't believe how big the twins are! CRAZY HUGE! They'll be bigger than me soon!!

Mr. Camel

I love how a few of my friends and I are sharing Pansy's Camel! The only bad thing about this beast is that it spits a lot! And it doesn't smell good friends! I thought my tuna breath was bad...

Mom spent HOURS on making our page look different. You see, Allie has a lot of problems getting onto my page with IE7. She seems to be the only one too... Do you have problems?

We have no plans furrr this weekend. Mom rented "The Devil Wears Prada" and the British "Office" series from Netflix. She can't wait to start her German course! It's supposed to be here Monday. Mom decided to also get that Amazon Prime thing. Does that mean our Amazon jungle will be better?

Gifties and Snow!

Wow, my birthday keeps going and going! I wanted mom to say home, so I purrred and purrred and low and behold? A SNOW DAY!!!

And it's a good thing mom stayed home as a package just arrived from Sammie and KiKi!! They sent me a very pretty Birthday card, Tuna Flakes *BACK OFF BOOGIE*, a Cosmic Country Catnip sack that I went nuts over, 2 balls, 1 mousie, and a way cool purple and green *MY FAVORITE COLORS!!!* cat toy! Man, my birthday was a blast! Thank you again for all that made it happen!! I don't know how Boogers does it! I mean, he eats a lot furrr a living, and parties a lot! How's he do it? I'm only 2 and I'm tuckered out!

He gets home early in the morning, and then goes to bed, so I got to open it today! It came with a matching blanket, and a dog squeaky toy... WHAT? A DOG TOY? Yes, it's true, the bed is furrrr dogs, but mom liked it :) The lil' dudes will play with it anymeow... I'll post the rest of my pics in a few!

I made mom cry!!!

OH DEAR! I was in soooooo much trouble this morning! Well first off, mom woke up late yesterday and today... But when daddy came home, mom made him some breakfast before he went to bed as he's on nights this month. Well, 9am came around and they were tired, so they were gathering up all of us into their room (they figured out this was the ONLY way we didn't run a muck in the morning, waking them up).

Well... They couldn't find me!!! They looked everywhere for 10 minutes and mom was getting worried! "Dan, you saw him when you came home right? He didn't escape did he?!?!?"

Mom started to cry when 15 minutes passed... She was soooooooooo worried!! FINALLY I came out from UNDER NEATH the couch!!! "FIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OH FIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Mom was loosing it :) "Meow?" I didn't know what the fuss was! :)

I just opened up a big box from our good pals *GLEEK, SAMOA, VIOLET, CALVIN, SPUNKY, SUGAR, * ! OH MY CATS!!! A package of mousies, a purple Kitty Hoots (Violet picked that out), a black sequence cat box that holds catnip (and there WAS some inside), a tuxedo ornament for next year that looks like MOI, and a cute cat card of Gleek! OMC! Thank you so much!!! It's great turning 2!!!

KICK TAIL!!! Wait... No... Kick my new football from my gorgeous *ALLIE GIRL* !! I got a way cool Birthday gift from her! She hooked me up!!! I got a Dallas Cowboy shirt and football for the games (I bet RA is scared she has competition against them cheese heads now! MOL), food for future games (popcorn, soda, pretzel, and hot dog), a birthday cupcake for me, and bday sound card that plays "Happy Birthday" that goes into my cupcake!

D'oh!!! Mom just had a meow with Picasso's mom and oops! Mom must have been on nip!!

She kept thinking a case=12... You see, Tiki is 12 in a case, and most other brands are 24 in a case...

OOOPSSSSSSSSSS! So I guess we go through HALF a case in a day... Still a bit much so we're going to cut back to 8 a day... (2 for each kitty, 1 for each of us = 7, the 8th can mid day).

Ok, so I just got a pawmail from Calvin and Indigo Montoya and they both said we better take advantage of this! MOL!

What we don't get is how the cans all say "Feed one can per every 5 pounds". I bet this is a way for the food company to get more money?? IT WORKED! MOL

Me and my big mouth.... I betcha mom will limit our moist since everyone seems to be eating 90% less than we do! MOL!!!! Boogie is going to kick my tail!!! Wait till he hears what others say!!!

PS, we do have dry out 24/7 which we nibble on... *sigh*

Ok I got a pawmail from Cali and Leo and Luna today about how much THEY eat... I would include my girl in the mix, but she's experiencing a growth spurrrt so we won't go there... I hope she got some food though! If not, mi casa es HER casa!

Well, it seems that Luna and Leo/Cali get a can of moist A DAY... We get two each and dang, maybe we DO eat too much!

Kitties don't count as they knead food and we've been googling all day and they say feed a kitten as much as they'll eat... While I weigh 13 pounds (DANG, dad didn't measure how tall I am), I KNEAD too gain weight regardless... Even the vet agrees I could be 14 or so... I'm like dad.. I can eat and not gain... My bones sorta show too much... BUT I SWEAR I EAT!! My shoulder blades are a bit too purrrnounced, and seriously, sometimes mom swears she can see my ribs.. I'm massively tall... Dad is off work tomorrow so mom will MAKE SURE he measures me...

Hondo weighs the same as me, but he's fluff... Boogie is NOT FLUFF.. HE IS FAT!! MOL!!!

Do we eat too much in our home?!?!

Ok... So we knead your help friends! Does our family consume too much food?? Like, we have dry out 24/7... The lil' dudes eat a 3oz can 2x a day each as they're growing and we've been told LET KITTIES EAT!!!!

Then there's us 3 big dudes... We each get a can of moist a day too (one in the morning and night---EACH). My rents are trying to fluff me up as I'm thin and TALL... I gotta have dad help mom measure me as I'm insanely tall... So I'd say we go through a case of 12, 3 oz cans a day... Is that normal???

I know my girl Allie is growing so she kneads more, and I think she said they get 1 can in the morning, and night...

Groomin' the lil' dudes

Mom took a cute video of me grooming Tiskers :) I like both lil' dudes, but I have a special place furrr Tiskers... What's interesting is that with Boogie, I'll groom and then 2 minutes later we head but and wrestle. But with the lil' dudes? I groomed for 15 minutes! No wrestling! Mom thinks it's because I don't feel threatened with them?

And surprisingly I didn't stink up Tiskers' head by licking him! MOL!! Maybe Boogie's head just stinks???

WOAH!! Me, Boogie and Tiskers are today's DDP/DOTD?!?! WOW!!! To celebrate this pawsome day, mom gave us extra yummies!! Oooooooooo!

I've been told by my girl Allie that my page on IE7 keeps giving her fits... Merlin who is a DDP today said there are flees on catster as he had problems replying to me... Hmmm anyone else having problems with my page???

I'm very glad to know that Allie Cat is back :) Her humans left furrr the holidays like most of my friends. I hear she behaved :) Next time her humans leave, I'll have to encourage her to throw a party! MOL!!

I can't believe it's almost 2008!! HOLY CATS! I knead to make a resolution! Not sure what.. Maybe I'll be less fiesty when I play as I play rough... Nahhhh!

Santa Paws? I've been good!

Furrr the most part :) Ok, so I gave the lil' dudes a rough time when they first came home, but now we're the best of friends! So I sometimes play too rough with Hondo as I know he won't fight back... But I'm trying to give him Fido's "tough love" :) It's for his own good!

I wanted to wish all our friends a very Meowy Catmas and I hope you all get tons of lovies, treats, and R&R!

Birth control for cats? I agree with Samoa!! WTM?!?!

WHAT THE MEOW?!?! I just noticed that on the right side of our catster page, there is a HUGE add for Lybrel which is a birth control. Isn't that what spaying and neutering is for??? I noticed this and I know a lot of catsters have as well! This is disturbing!!! Boogie had a meow with Calvin and he said that Samoa was going to write a diary about this. We totally agree with *SAMOA* !!! What gives?!?!

I thought plus membership reduces the amount of adds??? Appawrently not?! And also, since when do cats knead feminine human products?? Ummmmmm...

Catmas gifts from the bestest girlfriend!

FINALLY I get to type on the computer! HMPH! I just received the greatest Catmas gift from my beautiful girlfriend *Allie* !! OMC!!! Mom just got done shooting a video for me to put on my page tonight :) SWEET!

Let's see... Inside the huge box was a GORGEOUS blanket her mom made!! I can smell Allie on it :) The colors are amazing! They contain all my favorite colors (Dark purple and green!!!) OMC!! It's so soft and purrty! I also got a huge grey mousie that I am playing with while I type, a catnip filled stocking toy (which is probably an ornament for the tree, but I'm chewing on it!), a cuteeeee Catmas card from the entire family, a can of Felidae cat food (might share with the lil' dudes) and meowlarious plaque that holds keys and goodies.

It says on one half: Good Cat, and Bad Cat! MOL! You know what side I am on :) MOL! What's even cooler is that the cat in question is a TUX cat! SWEET!!! Also she sent mom a pair of cute cat socks, 4 balls for Hondo, Boogie's bday gift, AND a matching blanket for my two new brothers as a welcome home gift! It's in these amazing blue colors and there are 4 fluff balls to match! OMC!

Shutterfly ROCKS!

Mom is working on our Shutterfly calender! We love Shutterfly!! She's also going to do a collage of all of us with the vet. She's going to give one to our vet next month as well when our lil' bros get their 3rd set of shots. How nice! Be sure to take advantage of this offer!!

Mom is off until January 2, 2008!!! YES!! That means more mom time!! She's planning on quitting her job starting in February as she'll teach from home 2 days a week :) She'll actually make more that way than working AT her job. Ummmm her boss doesn't know this yet, so shhhhhhh!!!

Catmas Tag!

Ok, me and my brothers will each accept this Catmas tag once!! And my friend *MUGSY* tagged me!! We don't have a list of friends to tag as we're running out of free time befurrr the holidays... But we'll play!

Here are the 5 things I would like for Christmas:

1. I want to be able to participate in a boxing match w/o mom interfering!

2. Tons of toys and treats and food and, and, and...

3. To sleep in the same room with my ENTIRE family (see previous diary) HMPH!!!

4. For the lil' dudes to stop boppin' me on the head :) HEHE

5. I wish for no more homeless or abused kitties... (I agree Mugsy!!)

Tough Love...

Ok so I already told Allie about what happened last night... *sniffles* Ok... So I have a bad habit of bunny kicking too hard.. My defense is that I'm tall! No really I am! So I have that extra umpf on my side...

Well mom and dad both decided to let both kittens, Boogie and Hondo sleep in the same room w/ the bedroom closed---she felt bad for keeping us sepurrated... Well I was soooooooooooooooooooooo upset! I cried, and cried and cried! After 20 minutes, mom couldn't take it and felt bad! I was upset!!! Interestingly enough, I was on my best behavior all night! No bunny kicks to Boogie or head locks with Hondo... Mom is a light sleeper and she always wakes up 1x a night at least hearing me play rough... I always hear "FIDO! Play nice!"

Lesson learned (for now) and yes, that was tough love! I almost packed my bags and moved in with Allie!

OMC OMC!! Do my eyes deceive me?!?! I know Catster is nice enough to give out a rating of 5 paws when you celebrate your bday along with treats (so that means I get another paw Jan 15 on my 2nd birthday!), but I just noticed that I have 5 ratings! YES!!!

I can't believe my brother Boogie turns 4 years old a week from today! Dang he's getting old. He's so bossy sometimes... But he is fun to play with as we wrestle a lot :)

We're getting rain in this winter storm... The north east is getting ice and snow, and the poor midwest is getting TONS of snow! YUCK!!!! Mom says she doesn't miss that stuff :)

I about gave mom a heart attack!!!

EEEEeeeeeekkkkkk! Mom is up early again (kitties were wild and she had a stomach ache). Well she was getting up to get a glass of water when she saw that I was chewing on something. It looked like a stem from catnip buds so she got a hold of me and tried to pull it out. To her horror, she saw that it wasn't a stem, but a sewing needle with a LONGGGGGG piece of white thread attached! She freaked! She pulled the needle out of my mouth and out came the long 1.5 foot thread. I'm ok, so don't worry! But mom was all "DANNNNNNNNNNN GET UP! HELP!" She had to have him help open my mouth to make sure I was ok.

I'm not telling how I got a hold of this needle and thread. Mom always puts away the sewing kit in the bathroom. Boogie suggested I stole it as I'm good like that...

Ooohhh I better get going. I just got in trouble again... I battled Hondo and he cried like a baby :) He's such a wimp!

Tiki Cat!!!

MEOW!!! Today me and Boogie got some Tiki Cat from *ORCA AND FAMILY* as both me and Boogie placed in his pawsome BWAB Halloween Contest :) Oooooooooo food! MINE! I told Boogie he doesn't get any if he's over 20 pounds today when he returns from his annual exam :) MOL

We also got a cute Catmas card from his family too!! Our wall is looking so good with all the Catmas cards from friends!!!

Harry Potter!!

Oooooooo!! Order of the Phoenix is out today!!! Dad just left to pick it up furrr us! Why do I have the feeling that the quarantined lil' dudes get to watch it first?!?! That is SO not fair!!! Sure, me, Boogie and Hondo Apparated into the theaters when it was out back in July, but STILL!!!!

Hmph!!

And mom just had the NERVE to feed us big dudes ProPlan moist chicken with rice!!! Ahem? That is so not Tiki Cat!!!! We all ignored it so it's going to the lil' dudes...

I miss my brothers!

Dang, I miss my lil' brothers! I can see them under the bedroom door, but I can't get to them... I cry and mrroooowwww and to no avail, I am still lil' dude less!

My pawrents noticed that I am more mellow now that my bros are here. See, I am a grown up now! Big brother :) After all, I am turning 2 in a little over a month.

I sneezed once today, so mom is all worried that I'm catching what my lil' dudes have... But don't worry! Mom plans to stock up on Clavimox tomorrow when she goes with dad to the VET :)

We have been getting extra lovies so we don't feel left out when our pawrents attend to the lil' dudes... I just wanna play with them!

I refuse to get sick!

Ok, so the lil' ones are quarantined as they just got a cold, and until they're medicated, we can't go near them.. Hmmmmm just as I was starting to like them!! The other day we were playing in the HK tent and running around. Mom was so proud of me :)

I did sneeze, so since I was around the lil' dudes the most, she gave me a Clavimox pill. I have NEVER been sick since being adopted, and she wasn't sure how I'd do with meds! BUT.... I took the pill like a champ! Mom was impressed!!!

Hondo does better with pills vs. liquids and Boogie is the opposite. Mom is most worried about giving the lil' dudes meds when she gets some next Monday as she's never given a kitty meds! And she doesn't want to be the "bad pawrent" who does the medicine stuff.... Dad holds us usually and mom sticks her fingers in our mouth... *sigh*

Oooooooo we received 3 cute Catmas cards today! One was from Calvin and his expanding family (so cute), another was from Gnomey, Andre and NBK, and the other was from Willie and family! *tacks them on the wall* Thank you so much guys! We love seeing everyone's Catmas cards! So cute and unique!!!

Lil' munchkins!

Dang, those kittens run fast! How dare they run over my tail like it's cool! MOL!!! I wasn't mad, but boy that scared me! My tail went POOF after it happened! Maybe it was a ghost?

Mom and dad noticed that I seem more calm since the kittens have arrived... Could it be that turning 2 soon means I'm more mature? Just last week, leading up to the arrival of the kittens, I was you know what on wheels!!

Harry Potter Book 2 Meow-A-Thon tonight!

YES! The time has come when *THE ULTIMATE HP FAN CLUB* meows about Book 2, "Chamber of Secrets". This is part 1 of 2 so we're meowing about 9 chapters :) I can't wait!!!

Next week is part 2! As the books get longer (ummm yeah 800 is long no?) we'll have to divide the books up more :) I can't wait!

Things are going good here! I've accepted my two new brothers and find them... Odd... They are so tiny and fluffy! Their color is getting dark fast and it's pretty cool!

Yeah, they're not too bad...

Ok, don't tell anyone? But them whipper snappers aren't too bad... One had the nerve to run across the room and on my tail. But I was good! I didn't growl or hiss! As long as they don't try and take my title of "Trouble", then we will be the best of buds. Mom will admit she's afraid of me and Boogie wrestling w/ them as we love to do that! But we of course out weigh them (especially Boogie! MOL!!). Hondo never got into wrestling... He'll defend himself (unless he breaks a claw--that divo) but he is more laid back like Tiskers...

Now Mittens has spunk and mom said "FIDO don't you DARE show Mittens your way". MOL!!!!

My Girlfriend Allie turns 2 today!!!

Oooooooo the time has come! I can't wait to party with *ALLIE* as she turns 2 years old today!! There's an all day party *HERE* so be sure to stop by!!!

Things with the lil' ones are going better... Hondo and Boogie are fine, and can be left alone with them. Me? Ummmm we're getting there! Slow progress. I still growl funny MrrrrrrOOOOOOOOOWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (notice the voice fluctuation?) and there's an ocassional hiss from me, but I can walk around supervised near them. I got within 3 feet from them and was fine. :)

The Grinches came again!

Hmmmmm right about now I'm a Grinch! MOL! Our baby brothers came home today and I wasn't too happy. It'll get easier but seriously, the nerve! Mom and dad left us for a day+ and then come home with two bros! I thought they were kidding :)

Thank you "Grinches" for the coal! Hmmm I wonder if the orange cat in the pic is THE Grinch? I'll have to report to Samoa's Detective Agency soon!

What I'm thankful for...

Well, I did some reflecting while my mom was away at that evil place called WORK. While I loath "work", I am thankful for quite a bit.

This year has been amazing! I don't know where to start!!! So I guess I'll make a list of things I am thankful for in no pawwwticular order:

-I am thankful for having a pawsome family and pawrents who spoil me and are so loving.
-I am thankful for making so many pawsome new friends this year!
-I am thankful for finding my purrrty girlfriend Allie. She makes me so happy and always sending me sweet pawmails that make my heart flutter.
-I am thankful for having a roof over my home as I know how lucky I am to have a forever home.
-I am thankful that Boogers' is my bestest bestie and we are inseparable.
-I am thankful for having 2 great brothers, and two new ones that come very soon!
-I am thankful for having Tiki Cat at my disposal :)

3 words I hate and hear all to often :) Mom was baking some of her famous pumpkin bars (the only desert other than rice crispy bars she can make) for when she visits Picasso's family and I of course had to see what she was doing as she doesn't cook often :)

So I jumped on our bar area, and then I heard "SHEW! DOWN! NO!" What I want to know is why Boogie is only told "DOWN BOOGIE". He too did the same thing as I did but he got off way to easy!

I think it's because he will stop in his tracks when he hears these words where as I have ADD :)

What do you mean? Why in the world are they broken in the first place!! Why does mom and dad want two new kittens that are broken??

It's almost TurkeyDay!

Ooooooooo I can't wait until Turkey Day comes!! We're not doing much. To be honest, mom and dad are going to clean all the floors (vacuum, steam clean, sweep, mop), and then dust too and finally BABY PROOF our home!

We're super duper excited for our brothers to come!! When we saw the new pics we were SURPRISED how much they grew in 2 weeks!! I know their black noses look sorta funny MOL but that'll change over time when they get their color. Basically our bros will look like *SNOWMITTS* as our 2 bros are from the same parents, just different litter.

It's so cool our bros are related to his family!! Tiskers has Snowmitts white cute chin, where Mittens' is more white. Eeeeeeeeeeeee

Countertops are fun!

Me and my girlfriend Allie are purrfect for each other! We're constantly getting into trouble! Just doing my job :)

But lately mom has noticed I keep jumping on high surfaces... Any idea why? Because I'm not telling!

Like the other day, I kept jumping on my mom's table in the bedroom and throwing her cough drops on the floor. Hehehe, and then there's the fridge.. Those magnets they put on the surface? I am not telling my secret, but I always knock some down. Again, just doing my job right!!!

Well I'm going to get some HP reading with mom before she goes to bed...

FOOD!

Our besties *MURRAY, WILLIE AND PEARL* sent us some more food!! Their food daddy gets free samples from their local food store so they are too kind to help us try new foods. Us cats know all too well how picky we are about food! But their brother Willie recently started to not care for the Fromm's so they sent us some and some more Serengetti (I gotta check the spelling in a while). Willie likes it, but let's just say, it doesn't like Willie! MOL!! Thanks guys!!!

Shoppping is for girls!

Oh Hondo.... You're so excited about shopping tonight... What a divo... Nah, it's fun shopping and even I'm excited!!! Our parents are picking up some more stuff in prepurration for the kitties!! We can't wait and are getting very excited here!

Mom stocked up on moist food, so now we plan to buy about 6 bags of dry food for them... We hear those kittens like to eat!!! Boogie has competition! We're all really curious as to who will take to Hondo... He kneads a playmate... You see, when Boogie woke up mom just a few minutes ago, she was admiring how me and Boogie are inseperable. I just took to him! I love Hondo and groom him, but I'd say Boogie is my bestie....

Now the babies are definately each others bestie... But maybe they'll take to Hondo too as he's very laid back? He has the purrsonality of a raggie we think... Seriously, if any cat tried to pick a fight? He'd loose as he'd just lay down and wait for it to be over... The boxing video of me and Hondo is rare as he normally is like "Stop it, I'm telling mom" and runs and hides... *giggles*

Me? A DDP? Wasn't I just... Why yes I was!! But I swear I'm not giving HQ Boogie's tuna stash, or am I paying someone with my potent catnip! MOL

Mom feels better today. Yesterday she was on her death bed with a nasty flu/cold bug. She didn't get the flu shot... Come to think of it? She hasn't gotten that for over 5 years.... But mom was JUST sick last month!!! But she had a sore throat (much better now), and a headache, body ache, fever, etc., But she is better today...

Which is good as I plan to get into trouble today :) HEHE Never let your guard down!! HAHA

Catmas is around the corner!!!!!

Hi folks! The past few weeks we have received a few invites to Group Catmas Gift Exchanges, but this year, our entire family won't be participating, including groups we Admin or participate in. We will be giving our girlfriends gifts, but that is it. However, ALL our besties will be getting a pursonal Catmas card that is in the works :)

The reason I'm posting this memo in my diary (along with groups we Admin) is because we would feel so guilty if someone bought us a gift and we didn't give one in return. Catmas of course is not about gift giving, but I would feel bad you know? YOUR FRIENDSHIP IS THE BEST GIFT!!!!

We honestly, in the past 1+ years on catster, have accumulated SO many gifts from friends from Birthdays or just because. We appreciate these and you have all made our toy chest huge! Don't get me wrong, we LOVE giving gifties for Bdays or just because!! But last year was quite costly giving to our besties and I'm thinking you all have TONS of toys... Am I right? We would rather have you use your money to help feed animals this Catmas you know?

We are so sad to hear of the passing of our buddie *MILO* as he has gone to the bridge... It was very unexpected, and naturally his family is devastated. He was very young, too young to leave us... It's a good reminder that we are not on this earth forever. I am at a loss for words... My thoughts and purrrs go out to his family. I know he is looking down on his family and is greatly missed not only at home, but on catster... Until we meet again buddy... :(

Oooooooo! How exciting that I got to share the lime light with 4 other cats in the Diary Dept! Thank you to Catster HQ and all my friends who sent me Concat pawmails, rosettes and a star!!

In the meantime, we keep hearing kids running outside as it's Halloween!! Mom put up a sign as did our neighbor to our right saying "No candy this year". It helps :) But it a cat or two came by and said "MEOWWWWWWWWWW" we'd hook that cat up with treats :)

Speaking of... Mom brought home some new treats furrr us furrr Halloween! Some Temptations!! Simba will be jelly!!!

Almost Halloween!

Ooooooooooo It's almost Halloween! And you know what that means? I get to take this blasted costume off! MOL! Nah, kidding!!! Hondo stole my wand! I knew it!! When I find it, I'll do a spell on him.... He doesn't have the "elder" wand if you know what I mean... MOL!!!

We're not giving out candy this year... Wait.. We really haven't since we've been in VA... We don't get many kids and mom does not give out candy because the door knocks scare the LITTER out of me and my bros! We hide!!! MOL

Our brothers Mittens and Tiskers

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Mom and Dad got home really late and not only did they meet Picasso's mom and dad, our 2 brothers Mittens and Tiskers, and Biscotti, but they came home with a new condo! MOL!!

But back to the important stuff!!! Mom and dad had such a pawsome time meeting Auntie Barb and Unkie Rob!! They were so nice and fun to hang with. Mom loved meeting the breeder Lisa as she was also so very nice! Her husband makes condos so mom bought one :)

My pawrents couldn't believe how soft the babies were!!! Lil' fuzz balls! Our brothers stick close to one another while Biscotti (Picasso's bro) is a lil' whipper snapper! He likes to chew cords and mom and Barbi were laughing (more my mom than Barbi). MOL!!

Also while in PA, Auntie Barbi gave mom some gifts for me, Boogers and Hondo! We got:

3 cans of Fancy Feast Medley's, a crinkle ball, a fishie squeaky toy, Greenies, a catnip pillow made by Auntie, and a Trash Can Treats toy (strawberry).

The breeder Lisa gave mom and Barbi a matching cat print scarf! It's sooooo pretty!

Then Auntie also gave mom and dad: Candy Corn, and a beautiful scented sachet!!

We cannot wait to bring them home Nov 24th!!

Edited: We know who's who in person as one has a brown leg in the back, but for now, we believe the cat with a bigger head is Tiskers. He's also darker and we think for now, has more black on his nose.

PS we also received a Halloween card from Skeezix and family! We got their Yabba-Dabba-Doo Halloween Card!! Thanks!

Also we got some more food from our besties Murray, Willie and Pearl!! Dang we gotta move to their crib! MOL! Thank you!!!!!!

2 Brothers!!!

You heard it right... So originally we were getting one brother as the Bi Color (white stripe down the face) was going to Picasso's family. Another family was ahead of us and got the next pick of one of the mitted but they recently backed out having wanted the Bi Color... So there were two... Now, we know the two are insepurrrable as seen in the pics. So dad wanted from day one to get two (Mom found out about this Oct. 24!!) so after a long meow, mom gave in and we're getting two, so yes, the rumors are true :)

The lighter dude is Mittens and the daker dude is Tiskers. Dad had a cat named Whiskers as a kid, and they called him Tiskers...

UPDATE ON OUR TWO BROTHERS!!! Thank you everyone furrr asking about them and being excited for us!! Tomorrow (Sat October 27) Mom and Dad head off to PA to meet them and Auntie Barb!! (Picasso's mom). We are ONLY visiting them and they won't be home yet... They're coming home late Nov when we drive up there again after staying at Auntie's house in NJ

Ooooo! Mom just got home from that evil place we call "work" and she came in with 3 packages!!

The first was a special order from *HAZEL LUCY* as we ordered a soft white/cream blanket and scarf furrr our future brother Mittens! At the time we didn't know we were getting both Seal Mitted Raggies... Oh well, they can share! Actually, mom didn't tell dad but she ordered a cool bed furrrr them. She got them *THIS ONE* . Thank you HL for making a pawsome blanket! It's gorgeous!

The 2nd package was from our besties *GORDY AND DUTCHESS*! We got a cute Halloween Ooooows card, and some Oven Roasted Chicken Greenies! Mmmmmmmmmmm OUTTA MY WAY!! I WANT SOME!! THANK YOU!

The last package was from our besties *MURRAY, PEARL AND WILLIE* !! We got 6 cans of of Fromm's Tuna and Chicken and Solid Gold food!! Also two things of "Eagle Pack" Holistic Select dry food! Ooooooooo! I love how they are introducing us to new foods and we're hookin' them up with new treats :) Thank you guys!!!!

4 months!

WOW! Me and Allie are celebrating our 4 month annifurrsary! Pawsome! She's so funny! We both get into trouble as we're still young... Something about being hyper? Even though I won't be the youngest soon, I will make sure I give my brother a run furrr his money when he comes.

Mom is hoping the baby will be like Boogie in that he'll be a HUGE mamma's boy.. Boogie follows mom 24/7, where as I am a daddy's boy! And Hondo is neutral... Where there are cat treats, that's where he lurks...

I had a few friends say that our new brother Mittens has big paws to fill when he starts writing his diaries!!! That is so true!! Especially since he probably can't talk well you know? MOL You'll be entertained with 3 month old drool and slobber and poopy stories I bet :)

I have a sneaky feeling that we have a package in our mailbox... Cali was saying we had to be on the lookout! Mom will check in a few as she's getting ready as her and dad are going to get some stuff like litter, food, clothes for me and my brother.. WHAT????

What about a baby?

Aren't I the baby? *hmph* Well, guess what!! My parents will be meeting Picasso's pawrents Saturday October 27... And that's not all! They're going to pick out our brother!!! Yes! We'll finally know what black nosed Mitted Raggie is our brother!!!!!!!!! OMC!!!!!!!! Mom and dad are super excited!!! We get first pick on the Mitted!! OMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then guess what!! Late November, mom and dad are driving to NJ to stay with Picasso's family and then the next day they get our brother!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!? My mom and dad get to meet Picasso's ENTIRE FAMILY!!!!!!! I'm jealous as we can't drive for 4.5 hours with them, but that's ok!! I'm so excited!

Weather is constantly changing...

Man, the weather here and everywhere it seems, is changing from day to day. Mom keeps getting sinus headaches. Even I furr the first time sneezed!!!! Not sick, so don't worry! But I think it has something to do with the weather changing so drastically.

I was meowing with my girl Allie today and we are so meant furr each other! Lately I have been getting into trouble. I just discovered this thing called the "Entertainment Center". I guess I should have investigated that square thing holding the stereo system and tv sooner! Anyway... I have managed to purrrfect the art of jumping onto of it and throwing down things :) Mom was not too happy when she woke up and saw a Polish Pottery piece her friend bought from Poland on the floor... It wasn't broken *phew* but holy cats... I heard "Fido... NOooooo! Bad Boy! You can't do this!!!"

Hehehe. Turns out I can as my girl said I could! We are always in trouble! She was sent to time out but Murray snuck inside! MOL punishment? I thinkith not!

Ooooooo Halloween goodies!!!

Ooooo!!! Me and my brothers received 3 goodies today!

So mom just got home and there were 3 packages furrr me and my brothers!! The first one we opened was from *RIPLEY AND THE GANG* ! Inside was a very spooky bat and some mousies and a puff ball!! Mom has to take pictures before we play. My brothers are mad as I took the fluffy ball and RAN and I won't tell them WHERE it is :) MWHAHAHAHA THANK YOU RIPLEY AND DA GANG!

The second package was FOOD!!! Food from our besties *MURRAY, PEARL and WILLIE*!!! We got tons of canned Fromm's food (We love the tuna and LOVE the chicken!!) and they sent us some dry food also!! I'll be sure to give them all a taste!! Oooooo THANK YOU!! BOOGIE! MOVE! You are to share you hear?!?!

And finally, our other besties *MERCY, REEBOK, JOY, ET AL* surprised us with a Harry Potter outfit! They were worried it'd be a bit snug around Boogie's "muscular" body, but I think it'll fit. It most definately will fit me and Hondo too (He's 13 pounds of fluff, and I weigh the same)! Mom has to wait till dad gets home to help with pics. We can't wait to try it on. THANK YOU!!!

2 surprises!!

Ooooo! Today in the mail we received two packages! One was from our pals *CALVIN, SAMOA, VIOLET, GLEEK, SUGAR, SPUNKY* ! Inside was a spooky Halloween card, a pouch of Meow Mix, and a cute Halloween mousie! You know EXACTLY who stole the food... Yup Boogers devoured that in about 10 seconds flat... Piggy! MOL!!! Thanks so much guys! We can't wait furrr your mawmee to come back!

The next package had us rolling on the floor laughing!!! *PICASSO AND FAMILY* each sent us a bag of their furrr! MOL!!! Even Kashmere got in on the fun!! Oooooooooo! And the cool thing was Picasso sent me one of his original creations! A gray lil' mousie, one eye missing and it's tail missing!! Picasso originals are very distinct! MOL!!! THANK YOU GUYS!

Wow, mail furrr me? Errrr, mail furrr me and my brothers!!! Today we also received two packages! One was from our bestie
*COLLEEN*! Inside was a very cute Halloween card and 3 cute catnip filed toys! Boogie decided to hog the toys, so our photographer only took pics with him... *hmph* Thank you so much! I will steal these from Boogs when he's not looking :)

The second package came from our besties *SAMMIE AND KIKI* ! They spoiled us! Inside a cute Halloween package was a black pom pom with a string on it. My duty being the youngest brother is that I get to destroy toys first! Hehe! I tore the string in two with my sharp teeth :) We also received some greenies, some plastic curly toys to play with (Hondo took those and I just glared at him), and 3 mousies!! OMC!! Thank you guys so much!!

Ok, so not fair! Hondo and Boogie always hog our new toys and treats! I just sit there and wait my turn like a good lil' boy... But I wouldn't sleep with their eyes closed if I were them.... Anymeow, our besties *KASHMERE AND CO* sent us a Halloween Goodie Bag. We got 2 home made catnip pillows, a green glittery fluffy ball and a black mousie with orange furrr on what would be it's tail! The 2nd package was from our besties *MURRAY, PEARL and WILLIE*! They keep hooking us up with some new yummy food we've never tried! After the recalls, it's scary picking out one's food! But these are all good ones!! We got tons of Nutro Natural Choice Dry, Solid Gold Dry and Moist, and Wellness indoors! MEOW! We can't wait to try the food! Thanks so much!

Our shipment of Wild Side Salmon treats didn't come today like FedEx said they would... But when they do, we already told Pearl and family that we got them some yummy natural treats!!

3 months and going strong!

The coolest part is that there were 3 cats in the litter and my family along with *SNOWMITTS* family will have one of the 3 babies! So we'll be related in real life! I miss Hondo

So my brother Hondo will be gone furrr a week while on his honeymoon with his new wife Rue Rue. It was very impromptu as they decided to elope. I had fun being in the wedding with Boogers and Rue Rue's family! It was a very nice wedding. A few tie ups in the beginning as Rue Rue almost forgot her dress! Hahaha

So concats Hondo and Rue Rue! I'm so happy furrr ya!

FRIENDS!!!! We just got news that our bestie Ashley is very very sick and took a turn for the worst... He was yesterday's DDP and we thought all was well and he was ok (the bleeding). And then mom was on the phone all night with dad, Auntie Barb, our grandma and then we were helping mom with bills... And then we got an email from auntie Brenda...

*ASHLEY* started to bleed again and is not clotting his blood fast enough!!! His mom is very very worried. He has a vet appointment today and we are purrrring like mad....

Harry Potter party tonight!

Oooooo tonight our group is going to meow about Year 1 of Harry Potter! I can't wait! I've met a lot of new friends in the group!! Pawsome!! Ok, I gotta go and get the butterbeer ready, get the chocolate frogs ordered, etc.,!

OH! Almost forgot the most important thing! Our feather down comforter came today via USPS! So mom is going to give us, the cats, the old one to sleep on in our computer room and the new one is on our bed already, all nice and pristine, free of rips from my claws! MOL

HOLY CATS!! *CALI AND LEO* surprised us with a goodie bag today! Boogers went nuts as they sent us a package of Meow Mix... Aka, Boogers' favorite food!! Seriously you should see the boy eat! That's all he does! We also got a cool fuzzy cat wand, black cat socks and a picture frame!! How pawsome and sweet of them!!!

They are one of our bestest friends!!!! And in addition to their gifts, we received our order from them. We ordered... Uh... Let's just say some THINGS furrr our girls :) Seriously we love *POSH PETS* !!!! And for every sale they donate some money towards *BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY* and when they get $25, they sponsor a cat OR dog! How very generous of them!

OH OH! I was super bad and it's only 5:45 AM EST!!

OH OH!!! Ok, I'm not in trouble as it was an accident... But mom woke up as she heard "RIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" OH NO!! I am not sure what happened!!! I don't know if I was sleeping and fell? Or what, but mom woke up, saw me clinging onto their down comforter and there were FEATHERS EVERYWHERE!!!

Mom said I looked terrified, so she got out of bed, and helped me down... My paws and claws are ok, but the bed spread is NOT... Ok, so mom said it's 4.5 years old, but it was a super duper quality down feather comfurrrter... Uhhh... Yeah...

So mom had to sew it up for now as if she moved it, a billion feathers would fly. I'll have her take a picture of it later but I thought I was a dead cat... When mom helped me down, I just hovered on the floor as I knew I did something not so good... But surprisingly? Mom did NOT get mad! "....FIDO! Oh baby! Are you ok? What happened? Let me see your paws!!!!"

So we'll have to buy another one, but mom is all afraid now that I'll ruin a new one...

I can't wait to post the picture later... I mean... *turns away from mom* I can't wait to show my friends that I am ok and the blanket is not... Ok, that wasn't any better...

Kick tail date with Allie!

Holy catnip!!! Me and my girlfriend of 2 months just got back from the bestest date at Le Chat!! Ramone was our chaperon and took us on a sailboat adventure! *ALLIE* was looking over the boat when I pushed her in and joined in furrr a swim. While swimming, she put my head underwater and I was able to snag our dinner; Cat fish!!! YUM!!!

So Ramone cooked that furrr us and we had a great time!!! Then we sailed back, on a full belly and I just dropped her off at home in my stroller!

You should have seen her dress.. MROOOOOOOWWWW! It was a nice green and purple dress, and that's all I can remember as I was smitten on our date and kept looking at her all night :) Purrrrrrrrrr. She was so pretty and she knew that those are my two favorite colors!

Ooooooooo three major things happened today!

1) Mom's piano music furrr "HP and the Order of the Phoenix" came today! YAY!! She's very excited to start that!

Strolling Adventures!

YES! Finally me and Boogers got to stroll in our pawsome AT3!!! Hondo still refuses to go strolling... I bet you he would if the stroller were pink...

We went furr a 45 minute stroll with our mom and dad. They said the stroller felt MUCH heavier than the last time. I mean, if you factor in Boogers' weight (17-18 probably), and mine (13-14?) along w/ the stroller, up and down 3 flights of stairs? It can get heavy!!! Dad is strong and tall at 6'2", while mom is 11 inches shorter. So she complains a lot going up and down... HEHE

Strolling is so fun!!!

Ooooooo Tuna Flakes and Meow Mix treats? BOOGERS! MINE!!!

Holy kittens!!! I got a nice surprise today from our besties *CALI AND LEO*!! They sent us a nice thank you card furr Cali's bday gifts and inside was also a card to wish me a Happy Annifurrsary AND.... FOOD!!! I got some Tuna Flakes that taste like Kaviar (Ooooooo this is good news as Kaviar is often sold out!) and Meow Mix treats! You KNOW Boogers was all up in my face like,

I am a very lucky cat!

Yes I sure am lucky! Lucky to have such pawsome friends and a great furrrever home! Yesterday was a blast reading all the pawmails, stars, rosettes, and party forum as Horus and I had a joint party to celebrate!! Can you believe a year ago, I had no friends, no girlfriend, let alone, been to a party? I'm so lucky!

I want to thank everyone furrr making my 1st year with my home and on Catster so much fun! And thanks furrr helping celebrate with my buddy Horus who is very new to Catster.

I can't wait to get a lil' toy of my choice this weekend when mom is off work! There's been talk of mom wanting an Orange cat, but we'll see...

Ok, you all know I loveeeeeeeeeeee my Allie, but I also Heart *SIMBA* ! So you all know that she sent Hondo that cute *OCTOPUS TOY* that was on my head. Well I told Simba I loved it so much (we all do, it's our favorite toy--more than mousies I reckon) and she sent us 7 of them today!! We were so surprised!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SIMBA. WOW! Me a DDP?!?!

I'd like to thank Rocky Ann furrr the star and everyone who sent me treats, rosettes, and pawmails in honor of my DDP!! I was so excited! I was starting to think the Diary Lady furrrgot about me!! Been 3 months so it was a real shock to receive an email from Catster HQ!!!

I didn't get to do a victory lap in my stroller as it's so hot out :( But I did curl up with my meowmy and started to re-read Harry Potter Year 4: The Goblet of Fire. Since we finished the last book twice, we decided to reread the entire series as we've only read the books 2x each.

Night Shirt and Tranquility Blankets!!!

Ok, my diary is almost like Boogres' but I swear I didn't copy! He got to the computer furrrst!! *AUNTIE BARBI (Picasso's mom)* surprised our meowmy with the most amazing T-Shirt ever!! Auntie had asked my mom to send her some of her favorite pictures as well as T-Shirt size (everyday wear or night shirt). Mom choose a night shirt as they are getting icky (and because she puts on PJ's as soon as she gets home from W-O-R-K). We were so excited when we saw that we received the shirt today and it's BREATHTAKING!! I'm meowless! We posted a few pictures *HERE* and *HERE* of our dad wearing it while holding us! Mom tried holding us like dad but she said we were "too muscular" MOL!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

And then we also received a package today from *HAZEL LUCY*!! We had ordered some blankets from her after we saw her furrrst customer Mercy and Co., displaying such great blankets!!! WOW! I had the bestest date EVER just now!!! Guess what girls??? I, Fido, am NO longer single!! I have a girlfriend and her name is *ALLIE* !!! We had a fabulous dinner date at Le Chat tonight and things went off flawlessly!!! I've never been so happy befurrr!

OMC!!! We started out with a nice Raspberry Iced Tea, and then had stuffed shrimp and Clam Chowder. Then we meowed a bit but I will admit, I spent most of the date mustering up the courage to ask her out which she accepted! Also I couldn't get my eyes off her! Her sister Phoebe helped her prepare furrr the date.

Then we had dinner! She had the Salmon and I had the Steak and Lobster! YUM!!! There was never a dull moment in our conversation! She is so cute!

And then when we were waiting furr our desert (Boston Creme Pie and Chocolate Pudding), I asked her out and she said YES!!! I'm so on cloud 9!

And get this!!! Her and I will have another date tomorrow as my bestie *PICASSO*has a mousie party and we're both going!!!

Ooooooooo! I got a lil', no a LOT of furrr from my bestie *Picasso*!! It's so soft and white!! And FLUFFY!!! And it smells like my bestest!!! Ooooooo Mom will try and take a video of me playing with it or a pic after work! Ok, I wanna play with furrr! Also there was a note inside that featured his art.com pic from his auntie Jenn!! So cute!!! We also got a thank you card from when we sent him Pitter Patter candies and a purple brush (our fav brush, now HIS fav).

I know that she had a VERY VERY hard time with recent events, which would limit the time she had on Catster, but I was hoping it would improve. The last I heard from her was during mom's bday late April. I hope she eventually finds time to Catster as she is so dang cute!! But I understand...

So I'm single... Not in the mood to date yet, but maybe someday... I remember how CB picked me out of the group in our Ankle Biters Group!! She liked my nose as I liked hers... Awww the memories... *sniff*

Ooooooo even though I've been a BAD BAD cat? I see that some nice cat gave me an annonymousie rosette! Thank you so much! Oh oh... I gotta run! I'm still grounded!

I am GROUNDED!!!!!

Ok, I gotta make this quick as I am officially in the D-O-G house!! Oh dear... Unkie Miles will be proud, but oh dear.... So you'll notice that this diary is being written way to EARLY!!! We're up 4 hours earlier than normal!

And to make matters worse??? Mom went to bed around 10:30 pm EST last night as she is still nursing a bad cold... Then she had a headache on top of it... So every HOUR she kept waking up as she couldn't sleep... She's had SO much sleep from being sick that she couldn't sleep. And the headache wasn't helping...

Then she had a tummy ache all night too... But that's not why she's up!

I, Fido, am BAD!! "....... FIDO!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! BAD!!! NOOOOOOOOO"

Is how I woke my brothers up from their beauty sleep. Mom saw sugar all over the floor after she heard a "KABOOM" that woke her up as she had JUST gotten asleep. I got on top of the fridge (which I do maybe every 4 months) and knocked over white sugar everywhere!! Mom was so tired and can't see w/o contacts, so she just swept it, hoping she got it all..

And then round 2.... "KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" now mom heard in our spare bedroom a noise! I knocked over some picture frames from the WALL!! Mom was NOT HAPPY!!

So she finally caught me, and was saying "NO NO NO!!!! BAD FIDO!" and I bit her!!! It wasn't a mean one just a playful bite, but she was NOT HAPPY!

".........FIDO!!!! YOU....ARE....GROUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Finally!!!!

FINALLY! The day has come where Dad can sleep on the bed with us at night.. Since he snores, and because mom was sick? She said "Nuh Uh" to our dad... But finally she is better... Her fever went down finally, throat is better, nose isn't running and stuffed up as bad... Only problem is she has had this headache for DAYS... It might be due to the hot weather and/or her sinus' being messed up...

Dad brought some mint chocolate chip ice cream home and that helped! MOL

97 degrees?!?!

OMC! It's 97 and the weather liars are NOT lying!! Mom got 20 hours of sleep yesterday, and then she finally went to bed around 5, but had the news on befurrr shut eye... She heard the weather dude say, "It's going to be a code orange today, the weather is not good... We should be at a record high today. It's currently 74 at 5am" OMC!!

Our furrr is all frizzy, mom is complaining about the air bill, we can't go on strolls, OH THE INJUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I get to celebrate with a small group, of about 5 friends. We're throwing *PICASSO* a mousie party because we felt like it :) I can't wait!!!!

*sigh* I haven't heard from my girl in a while... But I do know that her mom was finishing up school and spending crazy hours working in the hospital. My brothers have comfurrt me and told me the ways of the ladies. Sometimes they're "busy". *sigh*

Lately I have been having fun tormenting my brothers. You see, what they don't understand is that, I, Fido am ruler of our home! I am the tallest cat, although the lightest, I have a wild streak. Furrr example... I like Hondo's beds and blankets he received furr his bday... He also got a new scratching post and I got on it furrrrst :) Oh yeah, and Boogers' cat cave from Orca??? I made myself at home furrrst again!

Hondo's almost 4!!

Eeeeeeeeee I can't wait to help ring in my brother's 4th Birthday tomorrow, May 25!!! Our meowmy took off work JUST furrr his birthday!!! We can't wait to celebrate!!!

We are also happy that Hondo FINALLY took to the Litter-Robot!! He went about 22 hours w/o going if you know what I'm meowing... Dad took the tough love approach as mom was worried... He got Hondo INTO the dome, and helped comfurrrt him by saying what a big boy he was. Hondo of course, got out of there ASAP, but when mom was paying bills, she saw Hondo go in there and do his thing! YAY!

BTW? This Litter-Robot is da bomb!!!!!! Scoop Free and Littermaid=BAD!! This thing is pawsome! NO MORE SCOOPING!

*pouts* Hmph!! So what's this I hear???? Apawrently Boogers has been complaining to our besties *Orca and Boots* that, I, luxuriously handsome, Fido, have been hogging Boogers' Cat Cave!!

The deal is, (So I found out!!!!), is to gas me out of the cave! That is right! You heard it! SOMEONE told SOMEONE that Boogers' should join me in the Cat Cave when I'm not prepared... Then while in there, Boogers' will gas me out!!

Gained 5 pounds in 9 months!

WOWIEEEE!!! I'm back from the vet and I am 13.10 pounds! WOAH! I was barely 8 pounds when I first came home Aug. 15, 2007!!! I got a picture with my vet, so enjoy! He's a great vet!!!! Hard to get an appointment with him though... I just went in furrr a checkup. He was telling us that our food along with Purina was very good. He did loose a few patients due to the recalls though :( Said it was just sad. One was a dog who visited hospitals to bring a smile on others' face.

I got cheese whiz on my nose again! You can even see the can in the background! MOL I love that stuff! This time, I wasn't a brat at the vet. It's my 2nd time w/ my family. The first time I was stressed and a lil' brat! MOL but I was good this time:)

V-E-T!!!

OH NO!! Not the V-E-T! Don't worry, nothing is wrong with me, just a routine checkup, some annual shots, and stuff... I am having my dad take a picture of me and my vet (I hope he says ok), so that'll be fun! I like my vet, even though I've only met him once... It was my first day home, Aug 15, 2006 and I kneaded to get a checkup, and I bit the vet assistant! MOL Not hard, just sorta nipped at her. I was stressed being in a new home w/ 2 brothers and a slobbering machine. I pawmiss to be better this time :)

Also my bestie *Picasso* has a 3 month checkup which means he kneads an ultra sound.. PUrrrrr furr him ok???

Not much to meow about...

Yeah, you heard me right... Not much is new with me... I haven't meowed with my girl in a while... I know her mom was finishing up her degree and all those classes... My dad has been busy too as he is almost done with his finals!! I don't know how he does it. He works 60+ hours a week, goes to school full time while maintaining a 4.0. Ok, so we're a bit proud of our daddy!!!! :)

But oh how I miss my meows with my girl Chloe Bella... *sigh*

MEOW Cinco de Mayo?

Mayo? As in that white stuff you put on a sandwich?? All I know is at the party I went to today to celebrate Simba's 19th birthday did NOT have that white stuff! I don't remember much as I had a lot of yummy drinks, salsa and chips, and tuna tacos, and I vaguely remember these rainbow mousies that Bella, and Colleen were tossing around. We all went bonkers! MOL

It's raining today so no strolls... drats... My family is excited to send Eve our blue Happy Trails stroller!!! We are hoping it's large enough to fit both of them so they can stroll together. You see, Eve is a light weight compared to Boogers! MOL I can't wait furrr them to receive it!!!
