Today PorkChop, Boogie and I went to the vet. We like our new vet place. There's a few vets there but we like the two males AND they happen to be classmates of Tiskers' Cardiologist! They all 3 went to Virginia Tech for their medical studies!
The one lady I saw we didn't care for only 'cause we were told to "ride out" my cold. 10 days later AND being in solitaire I was still sick!
I'm a whoppin' 17.1 pounds and he said while the average cat is 8-10 pounds, I'm a BIG BOY BUT NOT a big boy in the Boogers sense MOL!! I'm a very tall, long cat! The tallest in the family and I'm a big boy :)
I also, along with Porkers got my 1 year ray-bee shot. Boogie had a followup checkup and he'll write about that later. I'm always a good boy and am VERY shy at the vet and CLING onto daddy. Pics to follow :)
Wow, mom hasn't been online all day but did see that I was a DDP!! Thanks Buddie for always sending us emails to concatulate!!
A lot of scary things happened today. Mom, dad and grandpaw went to see the movie, "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and half way into the movie, mom felt dad lean on her shoulder and thought he was stretching. But he was limp and mom looked over and saw he passed out! Mom has NEVER seen anyone do this, so she was shaking him trying to get him to come through. She was frantically trying to get her cell to turn on (turn off during movies) and about 10 seconds later he came through and a few minutes later he was sweating. He said he was perhaps dehydrated from riding his bike earlier, but mom is hoping he'll see a Dr. soon. Mom said she felt sick after that and went numb. She couldn't get him to wake up but dad said he remembered leaning towards her to say he didn't feel well...
Mom is swearing she'll have gray hair tomorrow. He's ok but I along with mom say he needs to see a dr!
Today 406 including me celebrate their birthday! I'm 6 years young today! Dad knew it was my special day but he didn't know my age until mom told him! Silly dad!
