This evening at 5:15 pm, meowmy brought both Monte and I to the Vet's. I had to get retested fur my CBC and Monte had to get his nails trimmed because he seems to give meowmy and daddy a hard time when it comes to clipping. Well, shortly after she brought us in, the girl took both of us in the back so she patiently waited. About 10 minutes later, we were given back to mom. Of course she had to continue waiting until my blood work was done (about another 10 minutes). The the Tech came out and asked mom to wait fur Dr Wray in the room where he wanted to talk to her. After waiting less than 5 minutes, Doc Wray came in and he told mom that I was back to normal. First of all, I went from 8.1 pounds (10 days ago) to 8.8 and mom was so pleased. My CBC went down from 64,000 to 12,000 which was excellent news. Doc wasn't even expecting such a great drop in my white cells. I'm no longer taking the Orbax and back to my normal handsome self.
As fur Monte, we thought that he would need to wear a muzzle like the last time, but the Tech said that he did really well. Hummm... what was that all about? He gives mom and dad a Monte-tude but not with the girls. If mom has a problem the next time, she'll take him to the Vet's again as she will NOT go to a groomer (Breeder had a problem with a groomer). Meowmy feels a lot more comfy at Doc Wray's. The girls also commented on how much he looks like his beloved son, Angel Picasso.
I would like to thank each of you again fur all of your love, purrrs & purrayers during my recovery. It means so much to have you in my life as well as my pawrents *blows kisses* Now I think I'll take a nap since the car ride did upset me. If there is one thing I hate, it's the meanie car ride to the Vet! Thankfully, he's only about 5 minutes away from our home.
Sending a warm thank you to my dear furiends, Mercy & Fam fur the purrty floating fall leaves giftie...

This evening, I will be going to see Doc Wray fur updated blood work to see if my white cell count has dropped. Doc would like to see it at at least 48,000. 10 days ago, it was at 64,000 which is purrrry high! We're not sure if it was caused by an infection or that pawsible horrible word that begins with a "C." Mom is keeping her faith and thinking positive. Daddy came home from his job in Baltimore yesterday but unfortunately had to go back again this morning. He will then be leaving fur another job in Virginia until Thanksgiving. Daddy did comment on how much better I looked and how I was almost back to my old self. That brought a big smile to mom's face and to daddy's. I have been so sick and purry weak but with the love and devotion from meowmy, I have been improving with each day. I was so good with taking my Orbax but hopefully, I'm finished with that.
Aspen did catch a kitty cold which he's taking Clavomax and Monte goes in with me tonight to have his nails cut. Monte is IMPOSSIBLE when it comes to nail clippings so we now have Doc Wray do it. His breeder thinks that he muxt have had a bad experience when he was at the Groomers, preparing fur a buig show a few years ago, Since then even Lisa had a hard time with doing Monte's nails. Poor Monte has to ear a cloth muzzle when Doc does his nails since he's a bit difficult to handle. Mom and dad call him "Hannibal Monte" *giggles* He will be sure to give Dr Wray a fight tonight...
Thanks again fur all of your purrrs and purayers and always know how much I love and appreciate each of you. Sending our thoughts and purrayers to Picasso's girl *CHLOE * as she is in kidney failure at this time. Please stop by to send your purrrs to this sweet little girl. By the way, Chloe is also today's DDP which made all of us so happy, especially Angel Picasso.

First of all, on behalf of my family and me, we would like to take this moment to wish each and everyone of you a purrry Happy and safe Halloween, tomorrow.
Meowmy had to work this morning until 2:30 pm. As soon as she walked in, she saw that I was eating some of my dry food and then some of the canned as well. I began eating on my own last night which made meowmy so happy. You see, on Sunday, mom noticed that I wasn't eating much at all so she thought it was probably a tummy ache. Monday was basically the same until I didn't want to eat at all early that night so she made an appointment with the Dr Wray fur next available appointment which was on Tuesday morning. He had no idea what was going on so he took blood to get a better idea. He thought that it may have been my kidneys but come to find out, they're fine. Since I wasn't eating, mom chose to hand feed me which I was purry cooperative. I always listen to my meowmy *giggles* It seemed like furever that mom was waiting fur the results but finally they did come in today. All of my readings came out good except fur my white cell count is purry high. The normal reading is 16,000 and mine is 64,000! That's 3x the normal level. Doc is thinking that pawsibly I may have an infection (he saw that I have a loose tooth) and a slight infection in my mouth. They can't use any anesthesia since I have Cardiomyopathy. I also have the sneezies which I just started this afternoon *hisssss* Doc Wray put me on Orbax 22.7 mg (1/2 tab fur 10 day). After I have completed my medication, I will then have another blood test done to check my cell count. Doc did tell mom that another reason fur high white cell counts could be cancer which mom became so upset. We will see if I do have an infection first which if I do, the antibiotics should help. If it ends up being something more serious, my pawrents will do whatever needs to be done to help make me better. Please purray that it's not the "C" word and that whatever it is will be cured *crosses paws* I have eaten more than I did yesterday and with lots of love and purrayers, I hope to continue eating even more with each passing day. It could also be that my mouth is irritated.
Meowmy and I would like to thank each of you once again fur all of your purrrs & purrayers are fur being such pawsome and caring furiends. She has been so tired and stressed this week since she's been worrying about me. She's hardly sleeping as she wants to check on me every few hours. I sleep next to her throughout the night... always have because I love my mom so much. Mom did check with the vet about my sudden sneezing and they said that the Orbax will help with that as well since it's a broad spectrum antibiotic. Now I think I'll take another nap so that I can feel better soon 8blows kisses*
