Arrival Story: Miracle of all miracles, I was thinking of a companion for Lucy when I discovered her brother, her actual littermate brother was no longer a breeding cat and up for adoption. I jumped at the chance to bring them together. They are the best of friends!! They are two peas in a pod and do everything together, and although Hobbes is very outgoing and a bit clumsy and Lucy is a bit more sensitive and gentle, they are so alike and are always together. They even have the same mannerisms! (except Lucy is much better at tackling and wrestling him).
Bio: Hobbes took, oh, 2 minutes to adjust to his new home. Literally within minutes he walked around here like he had always lived with me and Lucy, just a sign that his remarkable story of being reunited with his sister was one that was meant to be. I have never known a cat to adapt so quickly, he's a member of this family and a very special big guy, my "Bigbee" as he looks like a big bumble bee and is also Lucy's big brother or big B....Lucy and I couldn't imagine life without this lovable leopard in our home. He's Hobbes, he loves everyone!! He has a little high pitched sissy meow which I find very endearing...he also has a permanently curled tail, very cute...Lucy loves to attack the shadow it makes. He has a new nickname, The Great Inspector. Seems meowmy can't do anything, eat anything without a proper inspection and approval. In other words, his nose is in EVERYTHING. That's my Hobbes! My newest nickname for him is "The Supervisor". He's the boss of me.

Yesterday at the vet, they told me I am 15-1/2 lbs. The doctor said I need to go on a DIET! can you believe it? Me? a DIET? HA! Meowmy said she was very proud of me, I did very well and wasn't too scared....
yay! That's over with for another year...

oh boy, i'm getting to be such a big boy
meomwy spoils us and I'm so happy she does..
but what will my girlfriend Emma think of me with this extra pound around my middle?

heyyyy, efurybody - I am THREE today! Wowsers meowsers, bowsers! We are THREE, me and my sissy Lucy...it's a party around here! We got extra play time in the hallway of the apartment, birthday turkey for breakfast, birthday treats and - can you believe it - MORE lovin' nuggins than usual! I didn't think that was possible.
So, the sun is shining, me and LUcy have the BEST home every with meowmy, we're healthy and happy and right now our cousin Chui is visiting us, so we are very blessed and happy.
