Pet-Peeves: when I say NO; when we're out of treats

Favorite Nap Spot: the tippy-top of the highest cabinet, the top of the shelf where the forbidden plants are, under the covers when it's cold
Favorite Food: wildside salmon treats and the tips of my fingers if he doesn't get them fast enough, ham and oatmeal. go figure - the carnivore loves his oats. and turkey. he is a turkey.
Skills: levitiating to the top of the stereo without being seen, aiding Lucy in her research on water flow direction in the toilet, jumping to amazing heights
Arrival Story: Miracle of all miracles, I was thinking of a companion for Lucy when I discovered her brother, her actual litter-mate brother was no longer a breeding cat and up for adoption. I jumped at the chance to bring them together. They are the best of friends!! They are two peas in a pod and do everything together, and although Hobbes is very outgoing and a bit clumsy and Lucy is a bit more sensitive and gentle, they are so alike and are always together. They even have the same mannerisms! (except Lucy is much better at tackling and wrestling him).
Bio: Hobbes took, oh, 2 minutes to adjust to his new home. Literally within minutes he walked around here like he had always lived with me and Lucy, just a sign that his remarkable story of being reunited with his sister was one that was meant to be. I have never known a cat to adapt so quickly, he's a member of this family and a very special big guy, my "Bigbee" as he looks like a big bumble bee and is also Lucy's big brother or big B....Lucy and I couldn't imagine life without this lovable leopard in our home. He's Hobbes, he loves everyone!! He has a little high pitched sissy meow which I find very endearing...he also has a permanently curled tail, very cute...Lucy loves to attack the shadow it makes. He has a new nickname, The Great Inspector. Seems meowmy can't do anything, eat anything without a proper inspection and approval. In other words, his nose is in EVERYTHING. That's my Hobbes! My newest nickname for him is "The Supervisor". He's the boss of me.
My sister Lucy and I are 6 years old today! Happy birfday to us! I got extra salmon treats and played and played extra hard. Now, I'm napping on the big red chair loving life. My birfday wish is that daddy stops calling me HOOBES. It's HOBBES, not HOOOObes, Daddy! Silly man.
I'm a BIG boy today, I"m FOUR years old!
yaaay! Lucy and I are both four today....and, since we don't know when our new sister Lolita was born (sometime in July) - we're saying it's HER birthday too! She's 6 today. Meowmy will put up a catster page for her soon.
We are all settled in our new home, we love all the room to run around! And there are lots of birdies to look at through the window. We're not quite allowed outside yet as I want to run and run and run and meowmy says that I'll run too far away, so no outside for me :( not yet, anyhow...
So Happy Birthday to ME, my sister LUCY and our new calico sister LOLITA!
Yesterday at the vet, they told me I am 15-1/2 lbs. The doctor said I need to go on a DIET! can you believe it? Me? a DIET? HA! Meowmy said she was very proud of me, I did very well and wasn't too scared....
yay! That's over with for another year...
