Thanks Catster for my Daily Diary Pick today! It somehow seems fitting that my first DDP would be about one of our first friends on Catster, Rocky Ann. We didn't know anything about Catster or how it worked, but she made us feel welcome. Here we are years later and we have made so many good friends.
Catster is overflowing today with tears and memories of the friendliest and sweetest cat anyone could hope to meet here. Rocky Ann was greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by Calvin and his sign and a huge heart basket so overflowing she needed help carrying it in.
If anyone embodied what Catster and the feline spirit was all about, it was Rocky Ann. A friend to everyone and always a kind word, she spoke softly and left a huge impression. Her message was peace, love, kindness and friendship. She gave us our first star rosettes when Willie & I joined Catster over 3 years ago.
It is said that everyone dies, but not everyone lives. Rocky Ann lived a wonderful life.
There are so many kitties at the Bridge waiting for us all to be together again one day. Then there will be no more tears or goodbyes. Just hugs and happiness.
We will think of you everytime we stroll as we always have. You were one of a kind and we love you.
We just found out from Calvin's diary that our friend Alfie, Wally & Sydney Rose's young brother, has gone to the Bridge after a terrible accident last Wednesday. We are shocked and devastated by this sad news. When we read the name "Alfie" in Calvin's diary, we thought no way, it can't be our Alfie! But it was! This is so sad. His Mommy has lost too many sweet kitties way too soon in their young lives. Please purr for Alfie and his family at this sad time. We are sending comforting purrs, we are so sad.
