My brother JR is dog of the day!

Today I found out that my angel brother JR is dog of the day on Dogster!
I am so proud of him.
I am praying that he will watch over me with my new brother Tucker.
He barks at me! I have to slap him alot!
Hisssssssssss.

On April 1, I have to have some teeth removed. I am so scared.
JR Angel will watch over me but I am still scared.

Got a new brother.

I got a new brother on Saturday. His name is Tucker.
He's ok but sometimes he's a stinkeroo.
Mom calls him Tuckeroo but I call him stinkeroo!
He killed three of my mousies!
Sometimes he barks at me. It was so nice and quiet before he came now it's all
"oh Tucker...here Tucker, come on Tucker...go for walkies Tucker".

March 3-my brother's birthday

Today would have been my brother JR's tenth birthday.
My brother passed away on Jan. 14 2008 and I miss him alot.
Now I don't know what to do without him and hope that he's happy as an angel. I hope that he got a birthday cake from St. Francis and that all his angel pals sang him Happy Birthday.
JR, I will be thinking of you today and wishing I was with you there at your pawty. Mom and I will always remember you and your sweet little face.

Feeling sooo much better!

I am finally feeling good again. I had to take mineral oil and that helped me to poop! Oh why didn't the dopey doctor tell my mom this from the beginning? But now I am feeling so much relief and I am a happy kitty again!

Oh poop!

I've been feeling sick for more than a week! Actually it's been longer. My mom took me to the doctor's a month ago, she was sure that I was losing weight. The doctor said no, and gave me a bunch of tests. He said I was fine.
Then a week ago I started sneezing and stopped eating. And pooping too!
Mom got all hyperventilating like and took me back to the vet, but it was a different one there. Not our regular vet. This was a lady vet but she didn't know what was wrong with me. I've lost one pound in a month's time! And I'm still sneezing. So mom took me back to the vet (our regular one) on Tuesday and he took xrays. It turns out that I can't poop! I'm all stuck up! I have to take icky medicine to try to get it out. I made a big one yesterday though and that felt a little better. I hope I'll feel better really soon because this is very uncomfortable.

Good doctor's report

I had to go to the doctor yesterday and have my blood tested. I have been sleeping more and my mom thought that I looked skinny. Also she was worried because one of my canned foods was in the poisoned food recall and that just got her so upset so she brought me in. I had a good time with Dr. Rind and his assistant. They petted me and spun me around, they looked me all over. I love attention!
Then they took my blood out and tested it and it turned out that I was just fine! Mommy was so happy and gave me lots of kisses and hugs. Even JR gave me a kiss when I got home!

A mouse for Christmas

Santa Paws brought me a raffia mouse and a stocking full of kat toys because I was very good. My brother JR didn't get a stocking. He got some boots and toys but he always wants to steal my stuff and break it!
I won't let him get my mouse! I love it. I rub it all over my face and play with the feathery tail. It's got a bell on it too! Purrrrrrrrrr!

Got treats!

I got a package in the mail today. Treats sent all the way from California (wherever that is). They were gourmet kitty treats, yum! My brother JR's friend Bubu sent them to me. I must be special!

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my adoption!

Three years ago today, my forever Mom took me home from the shelter.
It hasn't always been easy for me. I had to make alot of adjustments but I have a nice home and a Mom and brother (dog) who love me.
I got huggies today from Mom, she sang a song to me and gave me kisses.

Cat outside my window

There is a cat that lives outside my window. I always see her.
PSSSSSSSSSSSSST I want to go outside and chase her away.
When I see her, I go crazy and run around, knock things over and make my mom yell at me. But I can't help it! Why does she get to go outside and I'm not allowed! NOT FAIR!

Broke a lamp!

I was a bad kitty tonight. I broke my Mom's beautiful stained glass lamp and she was so mad! I like to run and jump and I knocked it over. I didn't mean to do it, but I don't feel the least bit guilty because I'm a cat! Hahaha!

My name is Patches

Hello cats and kittens!
My name is Patches, I'm a tortie calico and this is my second home.
I lived with another family before, but they broke up and my mom took all of my brothers and sisters and left me with my dad.

My dad loved me but couldn't take care of me because of his business so he tried to find me a good home but no takers. He then put me in a kill shelter but put a note on the cage, Do Not Destroy.
I was very sad there.
I was in that cage for three weeks.

Finally one day, a lady came and looked at me. The next thing I knew is that I was being put into a carrier. Then the lady took me home.
I cried alot in the car! I didn't know where I was going.
Then when we arrived, my new Mom brought me in the house and there was A DOG there!

He tried to be nice and really friendly but I was just too scared. For about two months I was scared all of the time. Then I realized that nobody was going to hurt me and I relaxed. But I slapped him around alot before that happened. I bit him once too, right on his back (he deserved it! ^_^)

Now I'm very settled and happy. I sleep alot and try to run outside like my dad used to let me do, but my new Mom just won't let me out. And the dog is her accomplice. He blocks the way so that I can't get out. I'm not trying to run away, I just want to feel the sun on my skin.
When the dog blocks me, I like to give him a slap in the face! He deserves it!

I like Temptations treats alot! They are like crunchy little pillows filled with chewy stuff. Yum! I make Mom give me some. I trained her to know when I wanted some.

Anyway, you other cats know how it is. Stop by and make friends because I need more feline companionship than I presently have.
