Monkey Moon Eyes

That's what Momma calls me! But one of my tear ducts is clogged and my eye is goobery and squinty. I am going to the vet, which I really hate to do, and they might not even be able to fix the problem. We sure hope they can, though.

Noodle Fiend

You may not know this, but I have little rat brothers! Well, every night for a treat they get noodles! Most of my pals know how I feel about noodles! Momma gives me and Smugg each our own noodle. I swallow mine whole and try to get Smugg's (he's not very good at eating noodles). Then I try to steal noodles from the little rats! It's easy to do if they're eating spaghetti, by the penne isn't as dangly.

Not the Carrier!

You guys! Momma and Dadda struggled to force me in my carrier, completely against my will, and when they finally succeeded they made me ride in the car! I hate that so much! Then they brought me to a place I'd never been before, but all our stuff was there! None of our stuff was in order, though. I was so scared! Luckily there was a closet for me to hide in.

This all happened Saturday, and now I'm okay. I'm way up high in an apartment where I can see birds flying! Before we were in a basement apartment, and I could only see birds walking. Too bad I won't be able to see the bunnies or squirrels any more, though.

Cinco de Meow

I'm 4 years-old today, everybody! I had a catnip party this morning, then I passed out in a cardboard box for awhile. Tonight, I get to eat some gnocchi, a potato dumpling-type pasta, though I'd get some of that even if it wasn't my bday! MOL!

I feel very fortunate to be spending my life with good people in a safe and stable home. I'm so happy I got to live myfirst year-and-a-half or so with my big brother, BoBo. And I'm glad for my little brother, Smugg, who cuddles and plays with me. I wish every kitty in the world could be as happy as me.

AND when Momma and Dadda got home, there was a special delivery waiting for me from my "brother from another mother," Alfie! I got catnip treats and bubbles, a special toy called a Cat Dancer, some Greenies, and (my fav) a DVD for kitties! Me and Smugg tried to catch the gerbils, squirrels, butterflies, fishies, and birdies that taunted us on the screen! Oh my cat! There's a chipmunk!!

Sad Monkey

Hi pals. I feel mighty low because Mom hasn't had much time to type on Catster for me. I haven't been able to play tag and I missed one of my favorite pal's birthday by almost a month (sorry, Bunny). Mom's in her last semester of school and battling the dreaded senioritis disease. She's also been volunteering at the local no-kill shelter, Town & Country Humane Society. And we took in those two chinchillas, who are little poopin' machines and require a lot cleaning and stuff.

Sigh. I love all my Catster pals.

My very favorite group in the whole wide world, Black Cats Crossing Our Paths, has dubbed me Black Cat of the Week! I feel so honored, but am not aware if I have any special duties! MOL!! If you are a black kitty (or mostly black, mostly like me) you should join Black Cats Crossing Our Paths! It's a lot of fun and friendly!

Oh! The Horror!

Right now, I'm hiding under the bed! My tummy's in a knot! My Gramma got Mom and Dad a new vacuum cleaner! I was suspicious when Mom brought in a big box. Well, I'm always suspicious of boxes, baskets, step stools, anything that can be carried! I guess I'm convinced that they're all contraptions that will make loud noises... I hate loud noises! My hoomans don't vacuum all that much on account of me being so sensitive, plus they're vacuum was a piece of clumped litter, if you know what I mean. But they used it tonight and it sucked up a lot of kitty hair! I think they may use it again! Why can't they just let the carpet get gritty and furry?
