Arrival Story:
This kitty was thrown out of a car into a busy intersection when he was maybe 3 months old. People behind in another car saw and scooped him up. They took him to the vet where my younger sister worked. The SPCA was full and the vet had no room. The only other option at that time was that he would be PTS. My sister told me about him and I told her to bring him to me. The rest they say is history.

Bio:
Fig has been a joy and a pain in the butt from day one. He had his claws and certainly knew how to use them...hence the nickname " cacti". He was very dangerous with nails so we had to have him declawed for our safety and the other animals. He isn't a nasty cat, just loved to use his claws at all times. He is getting old now and time is showing on him. He had been on a diet his whole life and still weighed in at 18 lbs. Now he is maybe 8 lbs. He has lost alot of weight in the last couple of months. He is being checked for tyroid problems. We hope that's all it is.

Oh dear... 62 hours and nobody can find me. I know mommy is missing me real bad. I know she is worried sick. I know she also knows.... if I am not found soon...
Mommy has done everything possible to find me. All she can do now is keep looking and calling me. I know she is doing that, but I don't hear her. If I heard her I know I would run as fast as I could to my mommy. I know she would hug and kiss me. She would be so happy. I know my other canine brother and sister along with my cat sis misses me too. My human sis even stayed home from University to help find me. I miss cuddling up to her in bed. She loves me so much. I grew up with her and she with me. She was only 4 when mommy rescued me. So we have been together a long time.
Boy I want to come home so bad. I just wish I knew how.

Well I went and did it today. I snuck out of the house without mommy seeing me. She was letting my dog brother and sister outside this morning before breakfast. That is when she always feeds us. Mommy has to give me medication twice a day. I use to be 18 lbs but went down to 6 lbs in less then a month. Right now I an just alittle over 7 lbs. Anyway, curiousity gets me in trouble all the time. I am an indoor cat and today I got real curious about outside. Then ZIP out the door I went. I know my mommy and my human sis is totally sad without me. My human was only 4 when my mommy brought me home. I was a rescue. I have had a great life with my family and really wants to come home. Unfortunitly.... I don't know how. Please ......I want to go home.
