She was from the litter of my aunt's next door neighbor. I was at a labor day barbecue when I picked her up and carried her the entire night because I thought the other kids would hurt her. I pleaded with my mother to get her and she finally gave in. She's been with me ever since and we have sort of a love/hate relationship :)
