Bio:
Hi, my name is Cedric. I'm a big, solid, British Shorthair kind of cat. I'm a rambling kind of cat. No one knows where I'm from and no one knows where I'm going. Well, that's not entirely true, some people do know where I'm from and some people do know where I'm going, or at least where I'm trying to go. My current family discovered me as I was on a stroll around PetsMart on a leash with a salesman of a kid who was volunteering at the animal shelter du jour. They were impressed by my leash manners and inquired about me and the kid laid it on thick, about how I was on my last few days in the shelter, and I had already been in and out of homes and had been hit and I was always trying to run away but I was good cat. man, by the time he was done he should have offered them a bridge too... But lucky for me they just wanted a cat, and a cat they got. They took me home and put me in the bathroom so that the other cats could sniff under the door and get used to the idea of a new cat in the house, I promptly climbed onto the shower curtain rod and stayed put for a day or two and when I came down I tried to run away, as a matter of fact for the first couple of years that I lived with my new family, I ran away A LOT. I was always dashing out the door, under someone's leg, past someone who wasn't exactly on the ball. I was a real pain in the you know what about proving my point that no house could contain me, but a funny thing happened, they just kept coming after me and putting me back in the house and feeding me and petting me and I started running away less and less and less. As a matter of fact, I haven't run away in a few years now... But, I still let them know that I might do it at any given moment, just to keep everyone on their toes.
