Bio:
Hi, my name is Vertigo. I'm a Bengal cat. Have you ever heard of a Bengal cat before? We're pretty cool. Of course, I'm a bit biased. The domestic Bengal is a cat that's four generations or more from the Asian Leopard Cat. In my opinion the Bengal cat makes a loving, intelligent housecat. We're curious and entertaining. Some of us even enjoy playing in water and bathing with their owners, I know I do from time to time. But I'm not a completely normal Bengal kitty because I'm a very small Bengal. My family thinks it's because I grew up in a tiny little cage at a pet store in a mall, and heaven only knows where I'm from originally. My Mom found me there one day while she was checking the place out to see if it was as horrible as she had heard and decided she wanted save me from having to go home with one of the many slack jawed yokel families that were gawking at me and pounding on the glass of my small and way too bright cage. All I can say about that is "PHEW". I went home with her and met Elton her GIANT scary dog, who wanted to chase me, everyone swore he just wanted to play but he's like 100 times as big as me so I decided I'd be happier in the closet because it was small like my old home and really dark, which was much better than those horrible florescent lights at the pet store. That first night at home she decided it would be a good idea to tie Elton to the leg of her bed so that he'd let me get a good night's sleep and have access to my litter box, this would soon be known as Mistake Number One, as soon as Elton spotted me and lunged, pulling the bed, and our sleeping Mom with him across the room and into a nearby wall... Needless to say Elton never got tied up again and I learned to deal with the situation in a much calmer manner... When we finally got to have run of the entire house, I learned to play fetch with this adorable little fuzzy pink heart-shaped change purse and often joined my Mom in the huge shower. For a while things were really good, I was about as happy as I can get. After all I'm pretty nervous and not very friendly and I don't like loud noises or too many new people. Then my Mom started adopting more kitties who needed homes. At first it was just me an Autumn. That was kinda okay... Then Punky came home and I couldn't deal with it... I started getting more and more nervous and upset (I even started peeing places I would never have thought to pee before), so my Mom moved me into a room all my own with a few big cat trees and a water fountain and I get to be left alone by the other animals in the house, which is nice because I'm just not a very sociable cat. (But, I do know what the phone is for and when my Mom holds it up to me I meow into it loudly.) So, for the time being I'm pretty content, well as content as I get. I like my alone time with my Mom and I like to be petted. Sadly, I don't play fetch anymore and I get a little depressed from time to time and just want to be left alone. But, I'd rather not talk about that, I'd rather just sit and watch the birds and click at them and enjoy my small, secluded little world...

Hi Everybody,

Here we go again. My Mom found a new website to explore and she's hooked. She told me she was making me a new profile on something called Catster.com.

Well, I like the name a whole lot better than that MySpace place. Besides, there's just too many weirdoes on there for this cat's taste. I like the look of this place a whole lot more. Cats everywhere you look, so much more desirable to look at...

Okay then, I'm on Catster and I'll admit, I like it here. So, it's nice to meet you and I'll see you around. So to speak, I'm not really a friendly cat per say...
