The Miners

Hi Furries:

I just wanted to say that our family was and is saddened to hear about the coal mine accident in the States. So many lost lives. Our hearts and prayers go out the the fallen and their families. One family of our friends here at Catster lost a few very dear reletives. Our Daddy hasn'r worked in a coal mine. But he has worked underground as a diamond driller. He probably will go do it again this year too. I get scared for my Daddy way underground like that. I know he has said that he has had to dodge really big rocks above him under there. He usually drills in mines that have been closed to see if they can open them up again.

Again our hearts to go out to the miners and our friends, the Bush Family.

Happy Spring!

Hi Furries:

I think spring is finally here. I was helping to spring clean again. Mommy cleaned the whole kitchen and changed thing around too. She was even on her hands and knees scrubing the floor. This is when I left. The she stated up that horrible machine that takes our fur off of the carpet. That noisy thing is goona suck us up one day. She brought out the fan from out of the closet, saying we are gonna need it soon. Today I found a new sleeping spot. Daddy has these glass display shelves that his store didn't want anymore. His keeps some of his computer stuff there. Well I think it is a great place to nap. Daddy doesn't like it though. Tomorrow I get to help with the bedroom next. Now this outa be fun.

I know it is late, but i hope everyone had a great Easter. We got a couple of new catnip toys for Easter, 'cause of course we can't have chocolate. Daddy bought Mommy a Lindt Gold bunny. She says it's too pretty to eat. Now I'm gonna bug the Pawrents to let me outside on my leash. Gotta wake Daddy up first though.

Here Is Another Funny

I found another funny joke for us kitties to meow out loud at:

Two girlfriends were speeding down the highway at well over a 100 miles per hour.

"Hey" asked the brunette at the wheel, "see any cops following us?"

The blonde turned and said, "As a matter of fact I do."

"Oh, Noooo!" yelled the brunette. "Are his flashers on?"

The blonde turned around and said, "Yup...nope...yup...nope...yup..."

Mowmy is blonde, so I thought this would be a fun joke. I hope all you kitties are having a great day. I get to take it easy today. But, I might be able to go to the paek and walk around a bit, now that it doesn't get dark so early anymore.

DDP Again! Thanx

Hi Furs:

I gotta thank the Diary Lady again for the diary pick. Mommy tod me when I got up this morning to help make Daddy's morning coffee. Wow, I couldn't believe it. I am so happy that lots of kitties like my diary.

Yestarday, I wasn't that busy, but i did go for a truckride and I got to go for a walk in my favorite electronic store. I walked around the big store until I was tuckered pout. I did get a whippy cream treat too.

Today, I gotta take Daddy to the Doctor. You know that I gotta look after him, 'cause he is the only Daddy that I have. I hope that he is okay. I get to have a short wait in the truck and then I get to do what I want. I gonna help Meowmy spring clen in th kitchen tomorrow. You all know how I like to lend a paw when I can. Sometimes Mommy doesn't like it, but that doesn't bother me none. (mol)

Mommy said to me this morning, "Now don't let this honor go to your head." Yah, right, I thought. "You can be such a little Diva, you now". I know, sometimes I can be so full of myself (mol)

Oh yah, Wally is doing so well. He is now getting some black fur back already. And he even has his eyelashes back again. We are so happy that he is back to his old self.

Thanks Again Diary Person.

Hi Furs:

I woke up this morning to find that I was a diary pick again. Thank you so much. And thank you to my friends who like to read my diary. I try to write as often as I can. Thanks Catster, you are just the best. And Congrats to all the other kitties who's diaries got picked today too.

Now I am going to wake up Meowmy and tellhe I want a treat and then I want a big kittie hug. Good day to sleep all day, 'cause it is raining kitties and puppies out there today.

Spring Cleaning.

Good Morning Furs:

I had so much fun a couple of daysago, I just gotta meow about it. Meowmy decided that it was time to start the spring cleaning. She washed walls, moved the sofas ans chairs in the livingroom. The best part was when she emptied the bookshelves to clean them. She had put the stuff from the shelves in the kitchen and on the kitchen table. I helped her by getting into everything and moving some of the stuff around on the table. When she moved the shelves to another part of the room, I decieded to hop on while she was moving them. She figured she would rearange the room. A couple of us rode on the cat post when she moved those too. I had a blast. She would say, "Bethany, stop that." or "Bethany Hope!" or "Betheeeeee". After all, I had nothing better to do with myself that day. Next she is gonna do the kitchen. I can hardly wait to dig my paws into that project.

WALLY UPDATE: Wally is acting like his old self. He is healing nicely and he has already gained some weight. He is his old happy self again. As a matter of fact he helped Meowmy the other day a bit too. Catster kitties are just pawsome!

Bad Chair

Good Morning Furs:

Thr pawrents seem to have figured out what Wally did to himself. Daddy left his reclining chair open one night when he went to bed. Well it looks like Wally got under there and cut himself. So daddy isn't gonna do that anymore. Wally was very lucky that he didn't get hurt worse. Wally was a little scared of Daddy last night. He knows that that bad chair belongs to Daddy.

Anyway, wally is alot happier today and is eating way better too. He should have some new fur in no time.

Just thought I would let you know the latest.

Bethie's Joke of The Week

A shopkeeper was dismayed when a brand new business much like his own opened up next door and erected a huge sign which read "BEST DEALS"

He was horrified when another competitor opened up on his right, and announced its arrival with an even larger sign, reading "LOWEST PRICES"

The shopkeeper panicked, until he got an idea. H put the biggest sign of all over his own shop. It read, "MAIN ENTRANCE"

I thought this was funny. I decided that I want to post a joke a week. Hey if you have some funny ones, you could always let my know. My humble servant with type it for me here.

Wally is Okay

Hello Everyfur:

Well i have some good news to report. Yeah. Wally is doing better. he is now wondering around the house and he is purring up a storm. His wound will heal slowly, so we are still putting stuff on it and at least he is eating and drinking more now. I think he lost a little bit of weight, but we will fatten him up again. he is so lucky that he didn't take his left eye out. I think that our Piper Angel Kitties were looking after him. And Of couse, all of your pawyers and purrs helped the most.

I am so happy to give a great update. He is on the road to recovery. Now lets all celebrate!

Wally Update

Happy Sunday:

I here to say hi and to update you on our Brofur, Wally. This morning he was sleeping on one of our kittie posts. His wound doesn't look wonderful, but at least he has ventured out from under the bed. The skin that he tore came of my itself, as it was on the floor when Meowmy woke up the morning. Wally is still taking a little baby aspirn and Daddy is gonna put some saline solution on his cut and then cover it to keep it clean. Meowmy wishes Wally could talk and tell us what he did, so he is stay "mum" on that. At least he is staying hydrated and we get what food we can into him.

I would like to thank all of you who have sent their pawyers and goodwishes to my boy. I have had him sence he was little and I got him when my Ashley passed on. That very day actually. He has been a wonderful guy and we hope to have him around alot longer.

I wouls also like to say a big thank you to his friends from The Cat's Meow and Man Cats At Work (MCAW) group.

When Wally is feeling up to it, I will have him say is thanks in his own diary.

Bethie and I will keep you posted. His Sisfurs are taking good care of him too.
