So sorry, I have been remiss about writing as of late. The life of a Princess is so busy.
It has been a sad time over at BCCP, we have had many friends that are ill and some who have recently crossed the bridge. Our whole family’s hearts go out to the families who are going through tough times. Please know we are here to support you.
In happier news I have been spending a lot of time with Galin (http://www.catster.com/cats/612635). He is such a gentleman; he knows how to treat a Princess properly. I was looking at his pictures and I saw that he has a birdy toy just like mine. He is rather handsome! I think he is a Prince!!! Daddy thinks I’m a little young to be interested in boys, but I’m almost 5. I think he needs to let me grow up a bit.
Oh and I was tagged by Odie, Aislin, and Jeckyl so lets see that’s 21 facts!!
Here are the rules of the game!
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to purr them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary or send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
1. I am the prettiest cat ever, everyone tells me so
2. I love rolling around on the carpet right after Mom vacuums so I can redistribute my fur all over it, especially when there is a sun spot on it
3. I love to “help” Mom make the bed, by jumping up and grabbing the covers she is trying to fix
4. I like to make “nests” in my dad’s shirts right after he takes them off
5. I love wool sweaters
6. I hate closed doors (I have figured out how to open doors unless they are closed very tightly)
7. I “sing” to my toys when I play with them
8. If Dad is on the computer and not paying attention to me I meow and meow and meow until he does
9. If I here anyone open a bottle I’ll come running and ask for the cap. If they don’t give it to me then I try to steal it
10. I am an expert bug hunter
11. My sister and I have learned to corner a mouse when it’s in the house, but Mom won’t let us bite it. She puts them back outside. Silly Mom doesn’t she know how yummy they are?
12. I’m very good with little kids
13. I would have been a great Mommy Cat, sometimes Mom and Dad wish they hadn’t gotten me fixed.
14. I love the laser pointer whenever I hear the draw that it’s in open I come running
15. I don’t eat a lot, and most human food doesn’t interest me. I do like gravy, caviar, smoked salmon and blueberry yogurt. Oh I also try to eat Dad’s Chef Boyardee Sauce, but Mom says it’s not good for me. (She also says it’s not good for Dad but he gets to eat it)
16. Mom and Dad say I chase my tail. I do no such thing. It’s not my fault a deadly black fur snake follows me around. They are lucky I’m here to save them from it. (I only see the deadly black fur snake when I have been into the catnip)
17. I love catnip
18. I love to be brushed, but only Mom can do it right. Dad tries but he just can’t seem to get it. I yell at him when he does it wrong
19. Toys with feathers are wonderful!
20. I like to sleep on my Dad at night
21. When it’s time for me to be pet and held, everything must stop until I receive the proper attention. Only I get to say when it’s time! If you try to pet or hold me and it’s not time, I will whine and whine and squirm until you leave me alone. Then I will stalk off and glare at you.
So there they are 21 facts about me!
I tag…

I'm in a group just for black cats call Black Cats Crossing our Paths (BCCP). One of our members, Bear, has a sister, Madi, who is ill. The group has decided to show their support by declaring Friday January 25th , 2008, Purr for Madi Day. To show support for Madi and her family they are changing their photo to a special one for the day. I have joined in with some extra puuuurrrs for Madi. I hope you join in too!!
This is a copy of the post from one of BCCP's top cats, Snowy

My Mom left the house this morning without scooping my litter box! I can't believe it; I will be launching a formal protest when she gets home. The nerve of that woman, it's a privilege to scoop my poop!

It is wet outside, which means it's warm out and the piles of white stuff are getting smaller. Mom was planning a sledding party this weekend so she is sad. I think the entire idea of sledding is silly, you could get wet or dirty, how undignified!
Since it is "warm" today I asked very nicely if I could go out on the porch. Mom said no! I miss my porch; the stupid white stuff needs to go away so I can lounge on the porch again.
Daddy came home from work early today!! I’m very excited. We have a full afternoon of napping ahead. Hmmmm maybe he will let me out on the porch. *prances off to find Dad*

(Luna finally figured out Mom's password so we can surf the interwebs again. Good thing to since I'm almost out of organic catnip.)
Happy New Year to all our feline friends!!
2007 was a very up and down year for our family.
It started out with the loss of our dear friend Cleo (http://www.catster.com/cats/359457). Cleo lived with our Mom and Dad’s dear friends. She had a good life and was taken from her parents to soon. They loved her very much and took very good care of her. We all miss her terribly.
Then one day Daddy’s tummy was hurting him. I am a highly qualified nurse so I immediately went to him and laid with just my paws on his belly right on the spot that hurt. I gave him many kisses and purrs but he still had to go to the ER. The doctor sent him home saying it was kidney stones. I knew something was wrong so I resumed my post and never left his side, while we waited for the stones to pass. After a couple of darks he didn’t get any better so back to the doctors he went. Turns out his appendix was the problem and it had ruptured while he was home waiting for the imaginary kidney stones to pass. Mom said that it was really bad and Dad had to stay in this place called a hospital, he was there for a long time. It made me so mad, the doctors kept messing up and I couldn’t go to the hospital to take care of Dad. Mom was really upset so Luna and I did our best to take care of her when she came home. Some darks she didn’t come home and we got so worried. Dad had to have 2 things Mom called operations. Finally Daddy came home and I continued to care for him until he fully recovered. Daddy told me that I was a magical cat. He said that people can die from a ruptured appendix, but his body built a thing called an abscess to keep the bad stuff in one spot. He said that my constant care and keeping my paws on the spot is what caused it to make the abscess. Mom agrees she says I knew what was wrong even when the doctors didn’t.
Then something magical happened Mom and Dad got married! Luna and I couldn’t go because it was outside and there were a lot of people. Mom told us all about it though and we saw the photos. Daddy was very handsome and Mom looked so good in her special dress. Both Luna and I thought the thing she called a train would be fun to play with. It was a very rainy weekend and Mom got her paws and pretty dress all dirty. But she said she wouldn’t have changed a thing and that it was the best day of her life. I’m kind of glad I wasn’t there; I would never get my paws muddy. I’m to pretty for that!
Daddy had to go back to the hospital after the wedding for another operation, because the doctors messed up so bad when his tummy hurt the first time. This time everything went much better and he hardly needed any care from me when he came back.
Then Mom got laid off. I was happy because she was home all the time. We love it when she is home, it means extra loves. Eventually she found another place to go all day. She really likes it there, which I guess is good. But I think she needs to stay here and brush me (and scoop my poop) all day!
Our cousin Oliver Wendell (http://www.catster.com/cats/363616) got a new puppy named Bella at his house. It really stressed him out. Oliver is super mellow and has had other cats live with him before. Our grandma’s dog Hannah stays with Oliver too. But for some reason Oliver got so stressed he stopped eating and his liver got really mad even though Auntie did everything right!! Oliver had to go to the vet and get a feeding tube so Mom left for a few darks and went to help take care of Oliver. He’s gotten much better now and we are happy that he is feeling better.
The year ended on a great note though because it was Christmas!!! People think that I must be a Halloween kitty because I’m black, but the truth is that I’m a Christmas cat. I love everything about it, the tree, the presents and the best part the wrapping paper. Our grandparents from FL come up to. They brought me a whole bag of bottle caps that Grandma had been saving just for me. She brought all kinds of shapes and sizes. I love having them visit, they tell me all the time how pretty I am. Grandma made a “tree skirt” out of wrapping paper after the presents were opened. Mom and Dad are leaving the tree up for an extra week just so I can enjoy it more.
We also had some addtions to our extened family. Malcolm (the little human I like) got a new little brother Noland. Lucus (another little human I like) got a new brother Tim. Lucas and Tim moved away so I don't see them now. Mom says she hopes they visit soon. I can't wait until the new kids are big enough to play follow the leader with me.
Well that was 2007, I bet 2008 is going to be great!!

Today I made friends with a little human, named Malcolm. My parents are super proud of me because I was very patient and loving. We palyed a game of follow the leader. I lead him around and he followed, until we got to the porch. Then I layed down and let him pet me. I even showed him my belly and mewed at him. Since Malcolm is only 19 months old, he can't say my name yet, but he does say "hi kitty" and makes kitty sounds. I thought he was pretty funny. I'm glad he didn't grab my ears! :)
