At least ten times a day I run to mom and shove my head into her hand, and she gives me some nice head, chin, and neck scratches. I think this is an excellent arrangement. Or, when dad is around, I jump up to one of my petting stations and immediately get attention. That is, of course, as it should be.
The problem I have is at night, when they are sleeping. Last night, for example, I jumped up on the bed and shoved my head into mom’s hand, which was lying on her pillow, repeatedly, and nothing happened. So annoying! Who said the humans could go off duty to sleep?! If they absolutely have to sleep sometimes, I think they should set their hands to be activated by my head and then run automatically. Isn’t that a great idea? I’ll see if I can train them. *lies on back and rolls happily from side to side*

I think.I know what you mean. Sometimes I lay down beside Mommy at night to cuddle, and the next thing I know, she gets up to turn the light out to go to sleep. They just don't get it. I wait all day, and then she wants to sleep when I want her to pet me. We need to train them better.
you lucky one! you at least find them sleeping! guess what mine dared recently?! fell asleep WHILE giving me belly rubs... *HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS S*
these creatures just don't work well :((
excellent ideal I try so hard to get mom and dad's attention when they are sleeping and dad just say "lay down calie and go night night" well really I am ready for lovin not sleepin,.
Thanks for your support, guys! I'm experimenting with activating their sleeping hands by pushing even harder with my nose!
