Mickey's Bridge Day

Today is my little guys first anniversary at the Bridge. I still miss him so much and we still feel the void in the house. Mickey was a special little guy and he didn't have a mean bone in his body. He was such a good little traveler too. We drove all the way to Ontario with him and he was the best. He would sit in your lap like a little kid and sight see.

We used to call him the little Doctor because he would always take care of you when he was sick. He liked to sleep on your head when he could.

After he was dianosed with his tumor, he lived for 2 more years. The tumor wasn't cancer, which was good, but after 2 years we knew he was hurting. He went to the bridge December 8th last year. I wish so much that he was still with us, but I know that he is with us in spirit. I know that our little angel is happy and without pain where he is;

Mickey got his wings today Dec 8 2008

I never had a pet friend quite like Mickey .And i am very sad to say he earned and got his wings today.Very much so will i miss his crawling up to see if it is ok to sleep on the bed with me ,for unlike his siblings it was as if he would ask if he could be there with me ,His meow looking for consent will be greatly missed, as was his way of wrapping himself around your head when he thought you were a sleep,along with his gentle needing,a massage that i know i will miss, His asking to climb up into the crook of the arm to be held like an infant child for hours watching TV or to just to hold is never to be realized again.As with his stare of sutle understanding i know he understood more than he let on . It sounds funny a grown man crying for a fuzzy friend,but i am the one that had to take him to the vet for a gentle end.We talked alot last night and on the wayand he would answer in his funny,a low meow a sutle look or stare a gentle caress hi s rub of his chin nor to adjust my glassed whichhe would fondly do.To take the misery he suffered from a tumour that grew from his ear to in his throat ,he new it would be better this way I do believe he understood .If truly there is a place in heaven where cats go and can play again ,i know he"s there with long lost friends . Update on me

Hi. Well, I don't have cancer. But I do have a tumor though. A ceruminous tumor actually. I have to have optic testing done to see how big it is is Vancouver. About 4 hours away. But at least for now I will be okay. Mom and dad don't have to do this asap, but soon. I am taken some stuff for my ear and i really am feeling alot better. i am playing more and having alot more fun will my brothers and sister.

I would like to thank everyone and everycat for their well wishes. This really gave me hope that I will be okay. i know that I am in good hands and my sister Beth has been updating in the forums too.

I an not well.

Well on June 6th 2007, i went to the vet. Dad thought i only had an ear infection. It turns out thatt I may have cancer in my left ear. I'm so scareed. I may have to have my ear canal reoved. but at least I would still be in this world. mom told me that I would be fine. I hope so

Mom is going to find out on Monday what the news is. She is trying to look on the bright side of things. i know that I can beet this. One of my friends did, so, so can I. i am a fighter and I wanna live! Yah.

I will let you all know what is happing. hazel lucy put me on the purr list tonight and all my friends our purring for me too.

My Birthday

It is my big day today. I am 5 today and I wonder if there will be a party! Yah that would be fun. My new sister, Tia ia a party animal and my brother buddy is sure to big on the catnip. I won't get any special food, 'cause iIonly like my crunchies. I am a picky fellow. I will ad more later tonight. Bye
