Arrival Story:
Simba lived with his sister Nala at a foster home. He needed a place to stay, forever. I drove an hour south to meet him. He came over to me and sat right next to me on the chair and put one of his paws on my leg. The owners were shocked. He loved me from the moment we met(vice versa). We then left to go to his new home. We stopped for pizza on the way back (pre-ordered). Simba was relaxed as soon as he smelled the food and then he ate some cheese (naughty boy). He loves his house and is the happiest cat in the world.

Simba recently was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. We took him to Portland to a cancer specialist. He got 6 treatments of radiation. He was doing well after treatment, and the cancer was gone. He got a sore throat and we put him on antibiotics. It went downhill from there. He started showing signs of neurological problems. I had to put him down. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Simba was my kid. Imagine if you had a kid and had to pull the plug if they were a vegetable. I am so sad!!! Simba was the best cat I have ever had. I was closer to him than I've ever been with any other animal, or human for that matter. He will be dearly missed. I will always love him and never forget his beautiful green eyes that he had so much love for me. I hope you are in a better place Simba. Love mommy
