It's Tuffy Time

Summertime and the livin is easy

Summer is the best time of the year. There are so many things to see, do, and chase! This time of year mom always lets my brother Sooty and I laze around on the porch. The bugs are always teasing me, daring me to catch them, and someday I will. I like to roll around on the ground, the patio is great for a nice back scratch. Nothing beats a nice nap in the sun. Prrrrrrr! My favorite place inside is a great cardboard box mom brought home one day. She didn't know it , but as soon as I saw it I claimed it as my own. Oh sure I have a fancy bed mom got me that she says is just right for kitties like me, but hey I like what I like and right now that means my cardboard box.

Holidays

Wow, what a great time! Mom and dad put a tree in our living room. And the best part, they hung all this sparkly and funny looking things from it. I knew it had to be a new toy for me with all those things to bat at and try to get down. Unfortunately, one day as I set my sights on a small ball hanging from the middle of the tree...wouldn't you know it the whole darn thing fell over. Boy, was mommy surprised when she came home!

What's This?

This weekend, mom and dad brought home a weird new contraption. At first I didn't notice, all I could think about was the great big box now in the living room. Then all of a sudden where our cat box used to be was a strange new box. Not only was it different looking it made sounds too! Sooty and I took awhile to watch what it was doing very closely. Then slowly I decided to be brave and check things out, plus I really had to go potty. Everything was fine, nothing new. I did my business and went off on my way. But then, a little while later, the box started making noise again and poof my perfectly covered up cat litter deposit was there one minute and gone the next. I don't know but I think I like this new thing.
