Arrival Story:
When we moved into our new house, a big tom cat came up and started attacking our two kitties through the screens. We put a trap out to catch him, and we caught this pretty girl instead. She was very afraid of humans at first, but during her between-vaccine quarentines, she got a little better, so decided to keep trying to convince her people were OK. After about 6 months, she started walking around the house, sitting on the couch next to us, and sleepig on the bed. She made little bits of progress every day. (We eventually caught the tom, and he got tame too. He's Grey, aka Fluffbutt.)
Bio:
Annedale is the feisty one. The big boy cats are all scared of her. Every moning, she sits on the bed by our faces. Once we get up, she'll run down the hall in front of us, hiss, meow and swat our toes just to make sure we remember we're supposed to be feeding her, not doing anything silly like eat breakfast or brush our teeth. She's still shy, though. She spends most of her time under the coffee table or the couch when company's over. She still won't let herself be petted. She loves to roll around and show us how soft and cuddly she is. Such a tease!
