Arrival Story:
Being a Mom of two I can hear anything. One night I woke up to little meows outside my bedroom window. It was getting cold outside so I had to investigate. The next morning I did see three furballs run by me. The orange one was the ring leader, I think it was his stomach that was making him brave. I knew I had to do something before the snow came. I borrowed a humane trap and got to work. Within minutes I had the little orange kitten, followed by his brother and sister. They were the definition of ferral! It took us a very long time to get us to trust them. The first time I took them to my vet (the must really love me) one took off and was running wild through the vets office. We fattened them up and got rid of those nasty fleas. After a month they were not scared of humans and the little girl in the group found a home. The brothers were the only two left. I missed my dear Bart so much I wanted to keep the orange one. Leave it to my girls to come up with a plan. Each of them would get a kitten for Christmas.

Bio:
Fester does remind me of Bart in some ways, not just because he is orange either. Both Bart and Fester remind me of Garfield. When they want to eat or want attention they let you know. Fester rarely leaves the kitchen, especially if there is a pizza box to sleep on. When the food bowls are empty he is the one that alerts us to fill them. Fester does not like heights at all so if you pick him up you have to make sure he feels secure. He is also the only cat in the house that will sit at your chair and wack you with his paw if he wants attention and you are not giving it to him. The other amaizing thing about Fester is that he knows that my daughter CC picked him as her Christmas Cat. He sleeps outside her door at night.
