Just letting you know

I am getting so frail. The Vet found out through x-rays that I have bone spurs on my spine which is very painful. I have been started on some medicine which has helped some but not enough. My mommy spoke to the vet this week and we're going to try some different medicine.
I take a few steps - stop - then take some more. Mommy is taking good care of me but could use some purrs.

Feeling Better

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I am walking much better. We will have to see how long it lasts. Mommy still won't let me out of her bedroom due to the stairs.

Being elderly is no fun. My blood work came back pretty good. My kidney levels are a little high so I am on kidney food. I seem to like it ok.

I only weigh 5#s so I need to add some weight. Yea! More treats.

Purrs and prayers to everyone in need. Well my typist has to go to work and I need to go to sleep.

OCTOBER NEWS

I was given the honor of Olde Furt for the month of October.

Yes I am getting older and stiff. When I walk mommy just feels so sorry for me. Also since I lay down I get mats and mommy has to cut them out as combing hurts. My haircut is so funny but Mom still says I am beautiful.

We are so sorry that Sissy and Sally Maria have passed. It is so hard to let our precious little ones go.

We have one thing today to be thankful for - RAIN RAIN!!!

They mean so much to mommy and me.

New Best Friend

I have a new Best Friend - Guess Who???

Catsy said it was ok. Autumn said she checked it out with her.

Mazie Mazie Mazie my new Best Friend. But I still Love Catsy!!!

Autumn said Catsy said I needed to keep tabs on Hazel Mazie for her.

How can I deny this to Catsy! Do you think Autumn is taking over as her Best Friend. Since they are in Heaven together I'm sure that will be ok.

Autumn says that Catsy is so sweet and watches over lots of little ones in Heaven. I'm so glad her and Autumn have become friends.

Catsy and Autumn have taken Hazel Lucy under their wings to take care of her. Isn't that sweet. I miss them both very much.

Out of my Comfort Zone

Mommy went out of town over the weekend - We went to board at the vet as our cat sitter was not available this weekend. Can you believe she did that to me. She took the Big Girl and me in the car. I was real quiet but BG gripped all the way.

I got to stay upstairs where it was quiet and I was pampered to my liking but BG had to stay downstairs at the vet cause she gets shots since she is a diabetic and they watch them real close.

Well mommy picked us up this afternoon and brought us home. When we got home BG got taken in first. She went up stairs and then mommy brought me in. Well I was watching her bring in all her stuff and guess what - I snuck out into the garage.

Mom didn't see me do that so she closed the door back into the house and it was soooo dark. Thank goodness the garage door was shut.

Hurry Mommy please find me. Finally she opened the door and I ran in - I got scolded and told what a bad girl I was then she smothered me with kisses and told me she couldn't find me and was worried.

The I got treats. Maybe I should try this again. What do you think?

So Sad

Mommy is so sad. I said "mommy why are you so sad and teary?"

"Sky - precious little one so many people have been killed and hurt by a terrible Earthquake that brought 40 foot waves and damaging so much".

Mommy said we must pray and help these people who saw their families and possessions torn away in seconds. Things can be replaced but the loss of life of humans and animals cannot.

Mommy and I have been watching TV and I get real close to her so she doesn't feel for sad.

Sky's Mom Here: Sky always knows when I am sad about anything. Animals have a sense that we will never have. Take the cats of Cat Island. I sure they sensed something and people listened and got to higher ground. We are hoping this.

Just remember to help others in their time of need. Just a little something can mean so much. I read that someone gave an older lady some food and water - she cried as she did not even know this person and they shared needed food and water with her. An act of compassion for others.

Today is a sad day for me as my friend Taffy has gone to the Bridge. "Sobs"

This is the worst news we have had since my Bestest Friend Catsy passed.

I'm sure she will meet Taffy at the gates along with my sissy Autumn, Sissy, Sugar, and PP and other friends.

Purrs to Taffy's mom and dad. They are so sad.

I can't stop crying.
