Arrival Story:
Kiowa has been apart of my family for over 14 years, I got him when he was just a wee 6 weeks old kitten.

Bio:
Kiowa had to have his leg amputated in October 2005. I came home and his left back leg was broken and all the nerves were damaged. I had 2 choices...either amputation at the age of 11 or have him put to sleep. I agonized over the decision. I didn't know if he could adjust to 3 legs at such an old age...but I couldn't imagine life without my sweet Ki. I decided to be selfish and have the amputation done...and it was a good decision...he adjusted just fine, and is once again the "mayor" of the neighborhood. Although he walks with his butt to the ground...I find his new way of getting around very charming.

We are playing a game of kitty cat tag.

KIOWA - Cats named Kiowa are extremely handsome in stature. They excel in diplomacy and govern their families and neighborhood with friendly persuasion (unless their name is Oreo.) They are gentle in nature and loving to the humans who care for him, most doggies, and other cats. He has a particular devotion to one calico named Rachel. He is very generous with gifts and has the ability to steal her heart.
