Arrival Story:
We adopted Midnight when I was 7 years old. My family wanted a cat, after the death of our last one. A lot of my friends thought black cats were bad luck, so being a little kid I wanted to prove that they weren't. We searched at every local pound and breeder looking for a black kitten. It took a while but we eventually found Midnight!

Midnight is one of those cats who only bonds to those people she lives with and sees the most. Those people were me and my mother. Around us she is the sweetest little kitty ever and we love her to death. But around other people she gets very shy and scared, and usually runs away. :'( She is definately not our company cat! But we love her anyway for being as sweet as she is with us. I recently moved out and had to leave her with my mom and I miss her so much! Midnight has become very ill in the last couple of months. We are not sure what is wrong because we have not been able to afford hospital bills for testing, and then treatments afterwards. She has lost a ton of weight, losing fur, has lost the strength to eat or drink hardly anything, has a hard time walking, and more. We are preparing ourselves for her trip to the bridge. She has been such a wonderful kitty to our family for 13 years, we will be very upset to see her go. Please have Midnight in your hearts and purrs during this hard time for her. We will keep everyone updated in Boris's diary.**Update** Midnight passed to the bridge on 4/23/09 It seemed to be painless and I am sure she is in a better place now. We will miss our princess.
