Pet-Peeves: When mom/dad leave the house, diet food (I'll eat it only because my mom says it's healthier), when I'm up for a good midnight chat & my parents would rather sleep, when Hondo drops the furry mice into the water!, when mom won't pick me up, limited treats
Favorite Toy: Furry mice, Mr. Flashlight/Laser Pointer, Da Bird, Cat Dancer, Turbo Scratcher, ANY feather toy.
Favorite Nap Spot: The loveseat, mother's pillow, cat nip sleeping pad, cat beds, on the scratching posts, pawrents bed, Dad's side of the bed (I push him off over time).
Favorite Food: TIKI CAT!!! TIKI CAT!!! TIKI CAT!!!, Purina Complete dry, RC Hairball 34, Meow Mix, catnip (fresh/dry), cod (fresh/dry), meowmy's chicken, Kitty Kaviar, shrimp nip, Solid Gold moist, Party Mix treats, ALL food really :)
Skills: I can shake hands (stupid dog trick), carry a conversation and if no one listens I will just talk to myself, chasing my tail like a dog, being a BIG Momma's Boy! (Don't mess with my meowmy!!)

Arrival Story: I was adopted by a nice family who love animals. They had already adopted a Gray Tabby, Hondo, from the cat rescue Fancy Cats, but wanted to give him a sibling to play with. I was adopted December 23, 2004 and was thought to be 1 years old. So December 23 is my birthday :) Shortly after my arrival, I had some medical issues. My parents noticed that I had "boogers" whenever I sneezed, so then came the jokes. The name stuck when I would perk up and respond (stupid me). My original name was "Moe", but they thought it sounded too much like "NO". I actually like my name as it's so unique. I didn't think anyone else on Catster had this name, but there are quite a few!
Bio: Ok, this may sound weird, but I am actually a dog trapped in a cat's body. Let me explain... I love to chase my tail, I play catch with my parents, I give kisses and high fives to people, and I'm told that I remind people of a dog as I have a similar personality and temperament. I am such a mommy's cat. I am often the favorite and don't hesitate to rub this in to my siblings. I get away with a lot of things and often my siblings are left at the scene of the crime. My pastimes include: waking mom up when she's trying to catch up on sleep, scratching dad's flip flops, and my favorite color is blue. The Last Forum I Posted In: BOOGERS 6th BIRTHDAY PARTY - Dec.23!!!
Ok, tomorrow is August 1... Mom and I are both going to start working out. I will watch my food intake and mom will fix her sagging midsection. She lost a few pounds during the sealing of the deck and all, but she replenished those pounds with yummy food.
So she said to me, "BOOGS! Time to get in shape! We're not getting any younger!!!"
Oh dear... If Pansy can do it, ANYONE (including me) can :)
Well last night mom had a small get together to show off their new deck. Prior to that, mom helped dad lug our grill, patio set onto the deck. Mom said things were HEAVY!! I supervised :)
Mom and dad plan to take some time off of things. The past 2 months they finished the garage, painted 5 rooms, and just sealed our big deck. Mom needs a break she said!
Daddy just mowed the first time in a month. It's been SO HOT that the grass has been dying and there for didn't need much mowing. Mom's been watering the day lights out of the grass (which we now have the greenest grass on our culdasack) but I heard her say there's less green in her pocket when the water bill comes :)
I'm doing much better with my boogies. I don't like kids still and we all hide upstairs while we have company over.
When mom got our food today, she went over to the adoption center and was hoping to find an orange cat... No luck she said. *I say YAYAYAAY* MOL
So mom got not one, but TWO notifications from Catster saying our plus was about to expire. Mom saw today that it was GONE! So alas, she renewed and now you will be able to view 100 Boogie pics :)
I made your day right? Have a great weekend! Supposed to be 110 with the heat index tomorrow :( That's prob like 38 C? I don't meow in Celsius... I'm guessing!
