My Mama's BACK!

I'm sure you'll forgive me for being so quiet, even if the best thing in the world has happened to me: the bunnies are gone!

I had another coughing spell almost two weeks ago and that's when Mama said "OK, Sab", and she took Ringo and Shortie back to the shelter as soon as a cage opened up.

We're free! All this space is MINE again! My new favorite spot to sprawl out is behind the glider, in front of the closet door. That's where the rabbits used to play, but not anymore! No more hay all over the floor! No more bunny fuzz flying through the air! No more bunny tantrums! Best of all, my mama isn't spending her time working with bunnies; she's got time for ME!

It's been so nice. Mama's had more time to pet me and rub my chin and behind my ears and hold me and kiss me and hug me and talk to me and we aren't interrupted by rabbits. Well, its been nice when she's been home, that is.

There are babies in the wind again, and Mama's all goo-goo-gaa-gaa over new baby nieces and nephews and helping out Auntie Becky, who's having her baby tomorrow. Mama was supposed to go to Michigan to visit dog cousin Zeus and his family, but with Auntie Becky needing help, she stayed home and helped out there.

It's okay; as long as there are no bunnies here, I am loving life again!
