I'm Worried

Mama tells me that Auntie Julia and Lucy are coming over tomorrow so they can go shopping for the big trip. Its the trip that Mama was going to take but is now staying home because Auntie Becky might have her baby while everyone is gone. They still need to buy food for all those teenagers going to the land of Cheese!

I'm worried because Mama told me that Lucy told her that she wants to give me a carrot.

I want everyone to get this strait: I DO NOT EAT CARROTS! NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL!

Mama says to not worry my brilliant orange head because she will make sure that Lucy gives the carrots to the rabbits and not me. She says that Lucy might think I like carrots because I am orange and carrots are orange and Lucy is only 2 years old and she loves me and she loves carrots and she loves to come here and visit "Bastian and Kenzie and Elmo" and the bunnies. (I just met this Elmo fella the last time Lucy was here. He's this red stuffed character that Mama's had on her shelf, way up high, forever, but she though that Lucy would love him, and sure enough, she did. Elmo's a quite fellow.)

I'm not so sure about this. Little kids are very smart. Maybe Lucy knows something I don't, like I've been hanging out with bunnies for so long that I'm starting to turn into one?

All I know is this: I don't do carrots!
