Hey - its totally not fair that some boo-hoo humans thought they could do "research" to figure out why we cats might use our high pitched meow on them.
I had to MOL when Mama read it to me because this article says that we "control" the humans that way. Ha! Only in my dreams! Mama is totally not captivated by that spell.
When I use that meow at her for breakfast, I get shoved off the bed. If I keep at it and Mama thinks I'm "early", she'll lock me in the pet carrier!
But I also use that meow when I'm playing and I want Mama to join me. She doesn't come see me all the time, but she will talk to me when I'm carrying my toys around and using my shrill meow. Mama says I'm very demanding of her attention in the evening but I have a very good clock because I do it every evening after 8 - so she says.
I'm telling you, humans think they are so smart because they figure this stuff out. As if! We cats have known this all along; what took the humans so long to figure it out?
