Today Mama went somewhere and she didn't take her car; can you imagine? I waited for her in the window, but Mama's car was in its spot, and Mama wasn't in the apartment. I know she went somewhere because Uncle Tony came up this morning and helped carry stuff out for Mama.
So I waited.
Soon enough, just after the proper time for supper, I saw a car pull up next to Mama's car and I saw Mama sitting in the back of it! She was pointing and waving to me. Of course I got all excited and head banged the window to let Mama know I was happy to see her.
Then I saw Uncle Tony get out of the car and take Mama's stuff out. Mama was talking to somebody in the car. Finally Uncle Tony and the car left and Mama picked up her stuff and came inside to feed us. Hurray!
Mama tells me that ever since Uncle Tony brought Lucy over to visit us, Lucy hasn't stopped talking about me. Lucy calls me "Bastian", she says, and loves to look at Mama's phone with no cord because Mama has a picture of me taking a nap in her no-cord phone. Mama says that they went to see family today and all Lucy wanted to do was "see Bastian in the phone" and "see Bastian sleeeeeeeeeeeeeping". So when she got home, Mama says she was showing Lucy where I was in the window and Lucy was very excited to see me!
I have a human fan club too; isn't that cool? I love to sleep, Lucy; Mama says you don't like to nap. We need to talk about this!
Leave A Comment | 3 people already have Aren't kids cool sometimes? My cousin Cormac likes to follow me around, and try to play with me. Sometimes I scratch him, but you it's done out of love, MOL.
And yeah, Lucy does need to learn about the importance of napping! My mom has finally learned that lesson, because she's been taking naps like crazy the last few days. :D Wow! You're BRAVE letting one of those screaming short ones come near enuf to touch you, I suppose you got to train 'em up right. Nice to see she's got ORANGE Fever. It's so contagious, all her friends may be over to see you real soon! Mama says Lucy is funny; she says she doesn't want to nap and next thing you know, she's sound asleep! I think I need to learn how to sleep like Lucy! MOL
