This is weekend one of the two weekends in the year that I just hate: Mama goes to camp. Usually she just drives for the day and comes home to sleep, but on Friday she packed her bag and her pillows and she went overnight! Her furiend Paul came to feed us supper and then yesterday breakfast but its jut not the same, especially since he was on his way to Camp, too.
So I did my very best to make it hard for Mama to pack. I tossed all her stuff off the bed. I batted her purse phone under the foot stool so she couldn't find it and then she couldn't go. Since that didn't work and she left, I hung out and actually got some sun! Mama says its rained all up 3 days this month and we've had over 7 inches of rain, so having the sun come out yesterday was a really big deal! Oooooooooooooooooh it felt so good that I didn't even try to sneak onto Catster.
This morning I helped Mama turn on the computer and the news was so cool and so sad all at the same time. I am a diary pick today; thank you Diary Gal! But also in the pmail was the terrible news that my furiend Peaches' family had a terrible loss yesterday. Her sisfur, Lucky, got sick and died very suddenly yesterday. She was only 6. Poor Lucky's mama; dog Tasha died just a couple weeks ago. Lucky and sister Squirrel were such a comedic duo; their mama was also catching their silliness on video and entertaining all of us cats with their silliness. I just feel so sad for Squirrel, Lobo, and their mama right now. Oh how their hearts much hurt so much!
So I'm using my platform as a diary pick of the day to ask all of you to purr for my furiends. They need all the Catster love they can to help them through this terrible time.

Leave A Comment | 2 people already have ConCATulations on getting the DDP and many purrs to Lucky's family. I'd never wish that on anyones, it's just like your worst nightmare. Lots and lots of purrs aw thanks for the good wishes Mr. D! I guess not every family can have a happy ending like you did. *sigh*
