Arrival Story:
My Mom and Dad and sister had just lost their kitty, Puttie. Puttie lived for 18 years. They were really sad - so they came to the Humane Society - and I was waiting. I picked them right away - I put my paw through the door and lached onto Daddy. Needless to say - I adopted them.

Bio:
I am the queen of intelligence. I can open doors, open food bags. I am very curious. This comes in very handy when Mommy "forgets" to give us a second helping of treats. I have allergies - just like my Mom. My Mom has to wipe my eyes every day - I think my Mom secretly loves to do this!

A Day in the Life

Day 6

Well summer is almost over ... the days are getting shorter and the nights so much longer ..... the solar room is not nearly as warm. Today it was only 75 degrees - Andy and I have to grow our winter coats in a hurry!

We don't like when summer ends - nothing to look at outside - although the leaves do make Andy go crazy .... he isn't very smart and he tries to catch them - youngsters! will they ever learn?!

The Steelers - my favorite football team - didn't do well in the presaeson - but that's ok - they'll do well when it is for real .... seems our quarterback had an appendectomy - I heard on ESPN they expect Ben to miss 2 weeks - 2 weeks - I just don't understand human "beans" - when I was spayed - I was up and around - not to mention JUMPING in a day ..... just goes to prove - we cats are the superior species.

OH well - that is about it. I am rather tired - I slept only 18 hours today - so I must get some well-needed shut-eye.

Day 5

Not much has changed - it is still HOT and Mommy has been complaining about the lack of rain. Andy and I like it when it doesn't rain - it is much more fun to be in the solar room when it is HOT - the warm sun feels so good on our fur.

I was at the vets a few days ago - I do have really bad allergies. I wasn't the best fur child at the doctor's. Seems I accidentially bite my human sister when the doctor attempted to examine me. My sister forgave me - who wouldn't .... all is well, the doctor gave Mommy some sauve for my eyes - and they feel better already.

The Steelers have there 1st game on Saturday. I love the Steelers - their colors are black and gold - well at least they got one of the colors correct!!!!

That's about it - I am going back to the solar room and enjoy the last days of summer.

Will it EVER cool off?! I used to like this weather - but, I have black fur and it retains heat (I looked this up on Google, as I keep reminding you I am a member of Cat Mensa).

I have a Dr appt this evening. My Mommy is worried my allergies are getting worse - so is hers, as is Uncle Tom's. I heard them say it was related to this weather.

Not much has been happening - even the birds and chippies are lying low. I heard the crickets last night and the STEELERS are in training camp - fall must be coming.

I love the Fall - I get to watch the leaves blow in the wind .. Andy tries to chase them - boys!
