Happy Holloween!!

I haven't had the chance to catch up with all my buddies lately on here since mommy likes to keep the computer all to herself most of the time. I'm looking forward to holloween cuz whenever my people start to bring in those big orange pumpkin things I know that they are gonna make me some pumpkin seeds! Momma doesn't let me eat too many of them because she told me she isn't sure if they are good for me or not. I think they are good...they sure do taste good!

Jon Jon (mommy's last roomate before she married daddy) says that it's a bit like canabalism when I eat pumpkin seeds. Cuz he says I'm a big pumpkin kitty myself....well, I dunno about that. I sure am orange though!

Whew

Now that this buisness of EVERYONE in our house sneezing on me is all over I can get back to writing in my journal...and the everlasting catnap. Seriously...that little squirt that momma brought home got us all sick. I even had icky stuff coming out of my eyes. I'm sure glad Daddy didn't mind when I went to give him a kitty kiss and got icky eye stuff in his beard. Hehe merowf!

None of us felt good, not even Vinny. He's still got a little bit of a problem. Momma says that he's been throwing up a little bit and that's not good. I keep telling him to stay out of my food...that it's not for big mouses like him, but he doesn't believe me. Ah well, momma and daddy will get him all fixed up just like the rest of us.

It's getting colder

It's getting colder outside, so I'm growing my fuzziest coat ever. It's gonna be bright orange and all kinds of fuzzy I tell ya! I'm excited!

Momma took Vinny to the vet today...he's been sneezing just like our new baby brother Jello. Momma says that he's caught the "kitty cold" whatever that is. I'm starting to play with Jello lately...he's a good wrestler, but the problem is he wants to wrestle all the time. All I wanna do is snuggle with momma and daddy...but this little twirp comes around and purrs up a storm until momma and Daddy pet HIM!

*sigh*....I'm supposed to be the favorite around here. Well, momma still says I am, so I guess that'll have to do...for now.

Sleeping in the Closet

I've taken up sleeping in the closet. I suppose it's because being the brilliant kitty I am, I've always made sure my hairballs get all over mommy. Now Mommy doesn't have to be around for it. All I have to do is curl up in her closet and static does the rest. Hehehehe...brilliant isn't it? Now mommy can take me with her wherever she goes...so she can show all the other people in the world that she has the best Orange kitty ever.

Notice the word Orange is the most important....

Weird People

There's this weird wet spot on the hallway carpet. I first noticed it a few days ago when momma was leaving for ork and had just gotten out of that big white thing taht spays water on the humans. I thought the carpet was all wet because momma had stood there too long drying off, but nope it just kept getting wetter and wetter.

I decided that I was gonna blame Vinny...cuz it's around the same spot where he has an "accident" every now and then. So I went and chewed out Vinny...but he swore he'd only gone in his litter box lately. I had no idea what was going on.

Then this guy came...momma and Daddy called him Maintenence. That's a weird name, even for a human. Anyways, he looked at the wet spot and then sent other weird people into my humble home to look at it. One of them pulled out what looked like that evil suction machine momma uses to pull all of our hair out of the carpet. It was really scary and loud. Then they left one of thier loud monsters here OVERNIGHT! I was so shocked that I couldn't sleep. Momma called it a "jet engine fan". Whatever that is, I don't think she liked it very much either. She shut it off before she went to bed, I guess because she couldn't cat nap with it on either.

It's still in the hallway, next to where the wet spot is...I guess it didn't get rid of the wet spot, like it was supposed to. But I won't go near it..no way...I'm not leaving the bedroom at all today...that thing could start up at any time and pull all my hair off of me! We wouldn't want that...I'm much too pretty.

We all know that Orange kitties are the best anyway!

Momma was so excited that Joe was being featured as the diary of the day that she called my daddy at work just to tell him. She then went and made a video of Joe and all his pictures for his catster page. I made sure to protest all of this attention Joe was getting with lots of purrs and meows (I don't speak much, but when I do...momma knows it's important). She then made sure to make a video for me too. I still say that my music is better.

I've been extra cuddley and cute lately too...just so that I can be featured one day. Who knows, maybe I'll be the cat of the week! That'll show-em. Purrow!

Lazy Kitty

This week has been pretty uneventful. I've spent it chasing Vinny and dealing with my annoying little brother Joe. My auntie Lindsey came over to see me a few days ago. Momma said somethign about them going to church together, but I know better...Auntie Lindsey would only come over to see me. Cuz I'm soft and pretty.

She and my momma took Joe and me outside for a little while. It was nice being in the great outdoors again. Momma kept shoving that stupid camera in my face. I know that my brilliant orange fur coat looks so good up against the green grass...but give it a rest will ya? I'm trying to chase some bunnies and stuff.

Outside!

Mommy took me and Joe (little brother) outside yesterday. It was so much fun, I was trying to sniff everything. Momma says I look so pretty up against green grass. So she even took some pictures to put up here and show all my friends how pretty I am.

My little brother just hung out on the patio the whole time. He's such a scaredy-cat. I couldn't help myself, there was just too much to explore! I would lay down and then I'd get back up and prace around...then I had to eat some grass...yum yum and then I was chasing a bug momma found for me. It was great fun, I hope she lets me outside again.

It was really hot though, and since I can't take off my beautiful fur coat we were only out there for a few minutes. When I was done I ran back into my apartment and told momma to close the big window/door so that none of the bugs could get in and make my little brother go crazy.

Poor Momma

A minute ago I was having the best time chasing my newest little brother around the apartment. Momma told me that she was really worried that we wouldn't get along, but once I reailzed that Vinny could be so much fun, I didn't think of him as a big mouse anymore...now sometimes we snuggle up together for a "cat/farret" nap. Momma told me she'd find a picture or two of us together and put it on here for all my friends to see. It's too bad they don't have a ferretster.com or he'd get his own website too!

Momma is still feeling really sick today, so I didn't sleep on the bed at all last night. Even though I knew she wanted my company. I just can't put up with her tossing and turning and coughing all night.

Of course before Momma and Daddy went to bed las night, daddy was reading out of that big book about God again, like they do every night...and I plopped myself down on the page that he was reading because I was in need of a scratch or two. Daddy told me to stop being so darned cute, and I simply lifted my fuzzy head and told him that I don't know how to not be...and if I ever learned how to be un-cute I might not remember how to be cute again. He shouldn't ask for things like that.

See, I can be meaningful too...just like that big book about God.
