Arrival Story:
Jack was my birthday gift to myself a few years ago. I went down to the animal shelter and placed 3 cats on the "meet this kitty" forms. The first cat they brought to me was very pretty, but very hairy. I was sneezing his hair out of my nose for the next two weeks. Haha, When I said I'd like to see the next cat and they brought in Jack..I could tell, he was perfect. He got up on my lap took one good look at me and then fell asleep on my leg. Then I said, yep...he's the one.

Bio:
Jack is by far the most lovable cat I've ever had. He's always ready to get pettins. He's not pushy about his lovins though, like some cats can be. He likes to just lay around and wait for you to want to pet him. When I first got him he was a very sick kitty indeed. He had ear-mites and a really bad URI. He was sneezing in my face all the time silly kitty. I took him to the emergency vet clinic on more than one occasion because he would start wheezing. That's where he lost his 1st life I believe...and where I stuck my credit card in a block of ice in the freezer. $400.00 and a maxed out credit card later, he was a healthy fuzzy-wuzzy again. I was certianly hoping he'd be worth all that money...and of course. He most certainly is. All of my friends love him, sometimes I wonder if they come over to see Jack and not me :-)

I haven't had the chance to catch up with all my buddies lately on here since mommy likes to keep the computer all to herself most of the time. I'm looking forward to holloween cuz whenever my people start to bring in those big orange pumpkin things I know that they are gonna make me some pumpkin seeds! Momma doesn't let me eat too many of them because she told me she isn't sure if they are good for me or not. I think they are good...they sure do taste good!

Jon Jon (mommy's last roomate before she married daddy) says that it's a bit like canabalism when I eat pumpkin seeds. Cuz he says I'm a big pumpkin kitty myself....well, I dunno about that. I sure am orange though!

Now that this buisness of EVERYONE in our house sneezing on me is all over I can get back to writing in my journal...and the everlasting catnap. Seriously...that little squirt that momma brought home got us all sick. I even had icky stuff coming out of my eyes. I'm sure glad Daddy didn't mind when I went to give him a kitty kiss and got icky eye stuff in his beard. Hehe merowf!

None of us felt good, not even Vinny. He's still got a little bit of a problem. Momma says that he's been throwing up a little bit and that's not good. I keep telling him to stay out of my food...that it's not for big mouses like him, but he doesn't believe me. Ah well, momma and daddy will get him all fixed up just like the rest of us.


It's getting colder

It's getting colder outside, so I'm growing my fuzziest coat ever. It's gonna be bright orange and all kinds of fuzzy I tell ya! I'm excited!

Momma took Vinny to the vet today...he's been sneezing just like our new baby brother Jello. Momma says that he's caught the "kitty cold" whatever that is. I'm starting to play with Jello lately...he's a good wrestler, but the problem is he wants to wrestle all the time. All I wanna do is snuggle with momma and daddy...but this little twirp comes around and purrs up a storm until momma and Daddy pet HIM!

*sigh*....I'm supposed to be the favorite around here. Well, momma still says I am, so I guess that'll have to do...for now.
