The Life of Scrumps

Pistaschio Enemy #1

Today Mom was having Pistaschio nuts as a snack and she had all the shells in a little bowl on the table and there were one or two that fell onto the floor. Now, I really dislike these shells, I try and try and try to squash them with my paws of steel because they remind me of the crunchy little beetles I like to squish when I'm outside. After trying in vain for quite some time, I developed a way to get rid of these un-squishable beetle shells. I pick them up in my mouth, jump up on the sofa, and then I use my long legs to stuff the shells deep down into the cracks between the sofa cushions where I never have to see them again. Mom says it's not nice to stuff garbage between the sofa cushions, but what does she know? I think she was surprised when she took off the cushions and discovered my stash of about 15 shells, but I was a little miffed because I was worried that they would escape so I jump up and stuffed them deep into the cracks where the sofa springs where so Mom will never get them! Mwah-Ha-Ha-Ha! Mom thinks this is weird, but she just doesn't understand sometimes!
