Eating, laser light, cuddling next to me

Stopping her from eating! Also, she hated when I put blankets on top of her - she was claustrophobic.

Favorite Toy:
Laser light - she loved the clicking sound.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of the recliner; cuddling next to me

Favorite Food:

She used to sit up on her hind legs without effort - like a meerkat. She would coo like a dove. She would sit up on her hind legs, put her front paws straight above her head and move them around like a 'monster.'

Arrival Story:
A family friend, Regina, gave her to me since Moe needed a friend at home to keep him company when I went to work. She was this quiet and tiny little ball of white fur. She had two brothers that were very active. She just liked to watch them play. When I brought her home, Moe freaked out a little bit - he hissed and meowed, but Ella just looked at him with her beautiful yellow eyes and he calmed down and accepted her.

Ella died March 1, 2005 due to complications from being spayed. She was very loved and I know she is our guardian angel in heaven.

My Earth Daddy, William

My daddy, William, passed away yesterday (March 11, 2008). He was very sick for a long time with cancer. Mommy (Cheryln) is very sad because she loves him very much and misses him very much.

I met him in heaven. I was the first one! Daddy loves me very much and he was so happy to see me! And just like I was, he was restored back to the way he was - healthy and happy. His sickness is gone. He has no pain.

My New Earth Sister!

Mommy & Daddy adopted a new baby. She is my cat mother's daughter - so she really is my sister! I will let my human mommy, Cheryln, explain better:

Ella's mother was a stray. She's had about 50 kittens. Last night, she was finally caught and my parents' friend will fix her and find her a new home. She's been trying to catch her for awhile now.

She had one last litter of kittens about 5 weeks ago. We adopted one of the kittens today (9/15/07) and she looks just like our precious Ella! And what is so amazing is that she is Ella's half-sister. They share a mother, but I don't think they share a father. So it's like having a piece of Ella here with us.

We haven't named her yet, so if anyone can think of any names, please let me know :)

Here is a picture of her:

When God Made Cats...

When God made the world, He chose to put animals in it, and decided to give each whatever it wanted. All the animals formed a long line before His throne, and the cat quietly went to the end of the line. To the elephant and the bear He gave strength, to the rabbit and the deer, swiftness; to the owl, the ability to see at night, to the birds and the butterflies, great beauty; to the fox, cunning; to the monkey, intelligence; to the dog, loyalty; to the lion, courage; to the otter, playfulness. And all these were things the animals begged of God. At last he came to the end of the line, and there sat the little cat, waiting patiently. "What will YOU have?" God asked the cat.

The cat shrugged modestly. "Oh, whatever scraps you have left over. I don't mind."

"But I'm God. I have everything left over."

"Then I'll have a little of everything, please."

And God gave a great shout of laughter at the cleverness of this small animal, and gave the cat everything she asked for, adding grace and elegance and, only for her, a gentle purr that would always attract humans and assure her a warm and comfortable home.

But he took away her false modesty.
