Likes:
PEOPLE (once properly acclimated), Sunbeams! Wheatgrass! Catnip! My dog Zoe (and cleaning her ears), waking up my people , making stompies and biscuits, warm laps, giving headbumps! Licking plastic bags.

Pet-Peeves:
The sound of crinkling plastic bags!! Getting pedicures & baths, yes, they bathe me! The GALL! Although SoftPaws *are* pretty snazzy! When pawpaw goes on trips. When Zoe went let me sit on her. Sleeping alone at night...they say I keep them awake :(

Favorite Toy:
LASER POINTER! The cardboard ramp for scratching, with catnip please!! Feather on pole, hair ties, flotsam and jetsam of the home.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Zoe's bed, on top of Zoe, sunbeams, and I love to steal seats when people get up. MOL!

Favorite Food:
Royal Canin weight control...but I DON'T eat that much...I am just full-figured and I love to do cardio on my 3-story staircase. Bonus points for tripping humans!

Skills:
Jumping incredibly high despite the girth, an incredible passion for people and craving attention. Stalking Zoe Dingo, and having powers of invisibility that only I seem to notice.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
My family adopted me from Washington Animal Rescue League in DC. I was living in a basement of an apartment when a man found me and brought me in. I had kittens but my people don't know the history. I was spayed at WARL (I am PRO-SPAY AND NEUTER!!) and still have my buxom figure. I am Rubenesque! I met my people at an art gallery on DuPoint Circle! They came for the adoption fair because Zoe LOVES kitties...all kitties, and not for chasing. I was just chillin' in the back and felt like being mellow with some yarn to flirt and entertain them. Little did they know what a handful I would become, because I am a character. I am a very good kitty...I just seem to get into mischief a lot. I have a heart of gold though and I am so very, very loved. Even if my dog won't admit it, I know she does too.

Bio:
So yeah, where was I? I love my dog and my people. They picked me up their way back from Germany, then we took off for Japan, of all places, a year later. I cannot believe I held it all the way from DC to Japan, and now we have moved back here to MD. Three flights! Anyway (I should have listed that as a special skill!), I am a very down to earth, friendly lovebug to people and my dog. I hide around other dogs, and come to think of it, I haven't been face-to-face with a cat since WARL! I have scratched on the window at strays that would torment me by flaunting their "freedom" at our sliding glass door. It is sad to see the feral kitties and dogs in Japan. I am glad I am not lost anymore. But I digress, and digress again. Mom had back surgery (she broke her spine working at a kennel...what a friendly Lab that was!) and we flew back to TX before it got too hot to fly home from Japan. Zoe Dingo and I loved staying with Grandma until Mom and Pawpaw came home to settle down once again in a new home. Yeah, we are world travelers. It can be fun when one isn't under the plane! Okay, let's discuss the breed thang...Dad decided I am a California Spangle cat, but Mom thinks I am a DSH tiger tabby. You know what? I have never been to California (despite what my profile says) and I am certainly not as big as a tiger. I am just me. Love me or love me. Those are your choices! ~~~~You can read more of our story at Zoe Dingo's page. She is more talkative online, but less in person. She doesn't bark unless she has something to say. I appreciate that. I, however, talk every morning until my people wake up. "Hellooooo??" I have really been working on that one. Oh yeah, I love to play in the toilet water. Don't you?~~~~~

We are not on Dogster as often as we like due to a family health emergency... and life! Know that we appreciate each and every message, rosette, star and bit of love! I wish we could respond personally to each and every one but it is just not possible these days.

Remember you are in our hearts and prayers, even when we aren't online!
Love,

Pant! Pant! Pant! There are kitties tagging everywhere! I've- been asleep for month!

I've been tagged by Sawyer! Wow, I am going to get exercise! MOL!

The rules of the TAG Game:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary.

Here are my seven facts:

1. I am the most finicky eater…you’d never guess it because I am 17 lbs. I don’t even like the salmon oil my mom puts on my food!
2. I have lost one lb since starting my new food, Royal Canin calorie control. YES! Three years and one lb. FINALLY!
3. I get fur balls and throw up huge amounts of food. Nice, huh?
4. I don’t chew my food, despite my perfect teeth.
5. I love dogs, but now we have a Jack Russell in the house and he loves me too much!
6. I love to sleep on my mom’s dark, clean clothes on the shelf.
7. I cannot get enough snuggling and loving. Who says cats are aloof???

I agree with Sawyer that it's hard to find seven kitties who haven't been tagged! I may “duplitag” anyway! This is fun! I'm tagging:

1. Monkey (Blue)
2. Karma Kitty
Welcome to Catster, kitties!!!!!
3. Lola 547236
4. Szafir (Sapphire) 547163
5. Babs 547162
6. Garfield 547226
7. Cleopatra 547198
*Rocky Ann was officially NOT tagged! :-) MOL!

Teddi Sue Still Missing Petition
By Joy in Member News, Lost Dogs and Cats

Teddi Sue is still missing. Somebody knows something and we all want to get Teddi Sue home. It takes about three minutes to sign this petition. So no excuses gang; let’s get those 1000 signatures so the local TV station will feel compelled to run the story!

Here are links to the previous blog posts:

And Zack barked in this update:

I checked this A.M. there are only about half of the signatures that TEDDI SUE needs. Please Please if you have not signed the petition can you do it now? It only takes a few minutes to try to help D’Ann out in finding her Teddi Sue.
Please go to her petition site.

Also could you please ask your family and friends to sign also. Please! Please!
Thank you Zack

Here’s what the petition says:

This petition is a plea from the members of the Dogster.com community for news coverage of Teddi Sue’s disapearance and the search D’ann Lally is doing to recover her.
