Skipping around the house, jumping in the bathtub to play with my toys (I perfer ones that make lots of noise, especially at 3am), jumping on Minx's back when he's sleeping.
When daddy leans over the upstairs loft and looks down at me. I look up and tell him right away : "MeOOOOW! Be careful! You might fall!"
Q-tips! I know they are in a jar in the bathroom! If you enter that room, I will jump on the toilet and scream "meOOOOW!!!" at you, until you give me one. I have a mission. I must take it to water bowl. Drop it in. Fish it back out. Then repeat.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Under the covers, on top of daddy's legs & on a blanket in front of the window.
Any canned food, but you better feed me first! (Those other 3 kitties can wait!)
Will catch a Q-tip with her front paws every time one is tossed her way.
My mommy & daddy lost a sweet kitty (named Monkey) to cancer when he was only 4 years old. A month later, they went to a no-kill shelter and fell in love with me. I was just a kitten. Mommy cried and had to leave b/c it felt like she was replacing Monkey. But of course she couldn't forget me and came back the next day.
The shelter workers told her this story about how I came to live at the shelter - One of the shelter volunteers was walking his dog out in the country. As he passed a small cemetery, he heard me crying, then found me inside a box. Someone had placed me in a box on a grave. It was winter and I very cold & all alone. The nice man took me to the shelter, where a week or so later my new mom & dad found me. My mommy says a cemetery was a very spooky & ironic place to find a cat like me - who just Loves Life so much that all I want to do is skip and jump and pounce all around the house - every day, all day.
I'm over a year old now and still trying to get my roomates to play with me. I live with 3 other cats who are 14 years or older. I love all of them, but can't understand why they sleep all the time. They don't get excited about anything! Not even a bug in the house (life is best when there is a bug in the house).
My "brother", Minx, is my favorite. He doesn't mind when I suddenly land on his back while he's sleeping. He used to complain about it, but gave up when he realized it wasn't going to stop me. I love my friend Minx!
My other friend is Rosie. She licks my head a lot. Click here to see me and Rosie when I was just a kitten: catbook

Somehow, I've always known that fame is my destiny, and now it's starting to happen!
My mommy sent my picture to a book publisher, and they posted it on their website. I was one of the first kitties to appear on the site, and now the book is really taking off and more and more kitties and their people are joining the Cat Mattress club.
The book is called I'm Just a Cat Mattress and my mommy & her friends love it because it's all about us wonderful kitties and the people who love them.
If you have pictures of your kitties as they sprawl on your bed, you can email them too. The publisher will place them on the site. www.imjustacatmattress.com
Just be prepared for the attention you'll get! My mommy is chasing me around the house with a camera, in case someone starts a Macy fan club (they'll surely want autographed photos!)
