New Baby Brother

Well we got the new baby brother 3 weeks ago and I'm still not too sure what I think of him. He was this little white cottony puff ball when he first came but now he keeps getting bigger and I'm a little afraid of him. Mommy said I need to make friends with him now because he will get bigger than me and even bigger than my brother Tommy. Tommy's not too sure about him yet either so I'm going to just mostly keep watching for a while.

Andy Went to a New Home

Hi Everyone,
Our old, grumpy orange brother Andy went to live in a new place a couple weeks ago. Mommy said it was because he didn't like me and Tommy after we were here a whole year. I don't think it's our fault cause we just tried to be nice and get him to place with us. I hope he's happy where he is now with a new Mommy who said she won't get other pets. So right now I'm just here with Tommy and Jamie but I overheard Mommy say something about kitten. I hope if we get a new one it likes me.

My First Birthday!

Good Morning. I don't know what it means but Mommy says today is my first birthday and that Tommy will have one in a couple weeks too. I hope it's nothing bad like going to the vet. And I think she forgot to put the flea stuff on us last week so I hope this isn't the day she'll do that. I hope it involves new presents I can play with before my brother Jamie dog chews them up. Anyway, Mommy seems to be making a fuss about this birthday thing and I hope it doesn't involve putting on stupid clothes!

Christmas is Fun

Hi Everyone,
Mommy hasn't let me write in a long time. She just added some new photoss of me since I'm growing up. I'm almost 10 months old now and turning brown.

I've heard there's something called Christmas happening soon. Mommy put this neat fake tree with all sorts of cool toys on it in the livingroom right next to my cat tree. The only strange thing is Mommy keeps yelling at me and my brother Tommy for playing with those toys. She keeps throwing other toys we already own around and telling us to play with those. But also she's been buying stuff that smell like new toys and treats and hiding them in the cabinet with the lock on it so we can't have them yet. She's doing the same with with toys and treats that smell like their for our dog brother Jamie too. I don't understand why she would buy us stuff and not let us have them yet.

The other odd thing is I get yelled at for just following stuff my little brother Tommy shows me. Like how to get on top of the refrigerator. I know we're not allowed on the counters but I'm sure we're faster than Mommy so we often get away with it. There's a neat space above the kitchen cabinets too and she caught me up there once but instead of yelling, she laughed and shot me with her camera. It's hard to tell what the humans will do.

Oh, our human Daddy moved out. Mommy doesn't seem to care and Andy, Tommy & I like it better cause there's more room on the bed. But Jamie doggie seems to miss him and gets all excited if he comes to visit.

All Better Now

Hi, just wanted to say I'm feeling all better after the surgery I had a couple weeks ago. My fur is even starting to grow back where they shaved some of my tummy which is a real big relief. I'm a beautiful girl and looked really awful with a bunch of my fur missing. The only thing is having our surgeries didn't calm my little brother Tommy down much. He still chases me and tackles me in an unsophisictated manner. How am I supposed to grow up to be proper lady when he acts like that? Sometimes he's nice like today when he let me cuddle with him while we took a nap in brother Jamie's den. If he really gets annoying, all I have to do is shout real loudly and Mommy will come find us and make Tommy have a time out.

Home From Hospital

Hi, I survived my trip to the hospital yesterday. They let me take a nap and when I woke up some of my pretty tummy hair was shaved and I have some stitches. They let me have medicine to help me sleep some more so I didn't feel too bad except for being locked up in a room by myself last night. But this morning Mommy let me take a nap with her for a couple hours in her bed so that was good.

But now something's wrong with my little brother Tommy. I've been with him every day for 2 months and today he hissed and growled at me! Mommy rubbed both of us with a pet wipe and I think we smell funny but my doggie brother Jamie said we smell real good.

Now Mommy's going to send me back up to the sewing room for another nap. She gave Tommy a time out in the basement for a couple hours. She told me she's going out to the store now and can't have us all loose so I'll try to be good and stay in the room. Maybe Tommy will come to his senses and stick his paw under my door and I guess I'll forgive him for acting so strange. Mommy said he had surgery too but they didn't shave his tummy fur so that doesn't seem fair.

Getting a Little Nervous

Well I'm getting a little worried because I heard my humans say Tommy & I have to go to the hospital tomorrow for the day. And worse, we can't have breakfast. And I guess we're going to have to ride in the car in our carriers. Mommy says it only takes 5 mintues to get there but what if the light is red? It might take 6 or 7 minutes and I really don't like it.

I also heard them say tomorrow night we're not allowed to run and play so they won't even let us sleep together and they're trying to decide which of us to put in what room.

I'm feeling perfectly fine so I don't know why I need to go to a hospital but Tommy is getting a little weird. He keeps trying to bite the back of my neck in a weird way and sorta get on top of me from behind which is silly since I'm bigger and he's only 4 1/2 months old.

Well I hope we'll both be okay.

My Photo on the Balcony

Hi. Mommy thought I should write to tell everyone not to worry about me on the balcony railing. I was only there to have my picture taken so my eyes would turn out blue. It's upstairs off the bedroom where the good pillow I told you about is. But really I like to take my cat naps in Jamie's room if he's not in there and even if he is. If fact, I think I'll take a nap there now cause Jamie's outside eating a doggie ice cream that Mommy made by melting peanutbutter and vanilla yogurt and freezing them.

Anyway, I won't do anything stupid like jump or fall off so don't worry that I was really outside. I know it's dangerous out there so I'm usually in the house. Besides, it's too hot to be outside now. Mommy & Jamie come home looking tired from their morning walks.

Mommy's Pillow

Hi. I don't why I didn't try this before since I've been in my new home for 2 months. But a couple nights ago I noticed how comfy Mommy's head looked on her down pillow so I started sleeping on it too. My whole body of course not just my head. I thought I might get yelled at since it's hard to tell what humans like. But instead Mommy petted me and told me how beautiful I am and called me her little purry girl so I guess it's fine with her. I don't know why my brothers Andy & Tommy haven't tried this but I hope they don't.

Hi I came to live in my new home 2 months ago and I love it. There's a nice big brother doggie, Jamie who is a sheltie and he's so cool. He gets his own room to sleep in at night but he lets me visit during the day and even take cat naps in there. My little brother Tommy is a black long-haired kitten who's 2 weeks younger than I am and got here the day before me. He's pretty cool too but he plays a lot rougher than the dog. Sometimes I think I am too sophisticated to be with him since I'm a purbreed Ragdoll and Tommy never even met his grandparents. I don't think he knows who his father is either but we don't talk about it since I don't want to hurt his feelings. Mommy said she adopted him from a rescue place to play with me. We have an older brother Andy who looks like a nice cat but he's still hissing and growling at us a lot and it's just uncalled for. Oh well, hopefully he'll adjust cause we're not going anywhere.
