I love Laps!!

Have I told you that I have discovered laps? I LOVE them!! They are so warm.... Life is good!

Guess What?

I've discovered something new! I've lived in this home for 2 years, and just discovered that the best place to sleep is on Mommy or Daddy's lap! It's so warm there! I hate when they get up and make me get up, but as soon as they sit back down, I curl back up.

Mommy says that I produce a lot of heat for something so tiny... She also says that the reason I'm so cold is cause I'm too skinny... I don't care, I love sleeping on her lap. I also like when she's on the 'puter, cause that thing eminates heat too, warms me even more. Life is good.

OH - and get this - - today, Mommy goes to take the garbage out and comes back with a cat! What the?? We live in a high rise and she saw this cat walking down the hall (we are on the 11th floor). She brought him in and locked him in the bathroom. I saw this all happen, Bubba didn't and I sat by that door talking to him for the whole 20 minutes that he was here. Bubba stayed in bed the whole time.

The management office found his home for us, and Mommy took "Tiger" home. I ran around the condo for at least 45 minutes looking for him, making me think I was seeing things. Was there really a cat in my condo today??

We really hope that in the event that Bubba or I get out, that someone would help us find our home just like Mommy did with Tiger.

That's all for now, I need to get back to Mommy's warm lap!!

Delay in Update

First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in the update on my health and weight issues. My PurrMom has been really busy this summer, keeping up on anything is hard to do. I get so upset cause she's never home.

So, I went back to the VET and she took blood and urine. Ends up that I'm just fine! Guess that I'm just a skinny boy. All of my lab work came back normal. So, no worries. Although, secretly, PurrMom is still worried...

One of my friends, Sydney, suggested this supplement. Perhaps we will give that a try.

Weight Loss!!

So, I went Saturday to the Vet for my annual appointment and Mom told the Vet that I seem skinny. The Vet checked my chart then weighed me, and I'm almost 8 pounds. Seven Months ago, I was over 9. The Vet is not comfortable with such a "dramatic" weight loss in such short of a time. The Vet also said that she can touch her fingers when touching my back end. Whatever that means.

The Vet said to separate me from my piggy brother when we get breakfast and dinner, and come back in 45 days for additional testing if I don't gain any weight.

Mom started to separate me for both my morning and evening feedings. She even watches me eat, what's her problem? I have very little appetite, why doesn't she get that.

I don't know if I like this so much, but I do know that Mom and Dad leave shortly after I have breakfast. So, I figure why eat when I can give Mom head bonks? Maybe she will stay home then.

In the evening, Mom gives me Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys. I am so excited when she gets home that I eat a little then follow Mom around the condo.

Then, there is always dry food, that Natural Instinct stuff in our bowls. Mind you, I share this condo with Mom, Dad and Bubba, who is over 20 pounds and likes to eat what I don't.

Mom recently changed our food from Nutro because of the poisoning that was happenig. Mom said that she is scared of most of the food out there. I don't know if I would care what she puts in front of me, I'm just not a pig like Bubba.

Oh, I'm not sure if it matters, but when I was in the pound, I picked up a case of Kennel Cough or an Upper Respiratory Infection, then that led to a case of Herpes. I have to take Ensyl F every day. Not sure if that makes any difference in my current condition..

Please purr for me, and hopefully I will eat more and gain some weight so Mom doesn't worry so much.
