My first Trip to the Vet

Mom and Dad got up this morning and told me I was going to meet someone named "Doc". Mom brought out what I thought was my cubby box I like to play in, except this one had a wire door on it. Mom put my beddy inside with a towel and then of course I have to go check out what she is doing, so I went inside it and mom closed the door on me!!!! I was meowing and crying, I did not want to be in this closed up thing. She then takes me outside, where I know I don't belong and puts me in the car. I cried and cried all the way there.

We arrived where this Doc person was supposed to be. All I know is I heard dogs barking and too many people there for my liking. I hid WAY in the back of my cubby thing(mom says its a carrier). Even when the nice lady came over to look inside my cubby, I hid my head under the towel.

They called my name and mom and dad took me into another room where this Doc person was. They took me out of my cubby and handed me to this strange man who was very nice. He checked me out, took me in the back, took some blood from my arm, and they said I was all good to go, whatever that means in human. They brought me back to where mom and dad were waiting, and Doc played with me with a light, then he checked out my eyes and ears and my heart. He told mom and dad I was in perfect health. I then felt 2 sharp pains in my behind!!!! MMEEOOOWWWW, what the heck was that!!!! Rabies shot and another ouchie right on the otherside. That I didn't like. They weighed me, a nice 6.5lbs at nearly 7m old. I tried to bite this Doc person when he checked my teeth, but I missed. A few more pets on my head from this person and back in my cubby I go.

Again, I cried and cried all the way home.

Whew, home at last!!! Now, I wait till they are asleep to get my revenge. YAWN, I think a cat nap first for me though.
