My late night outdoor adventure

Last night Mom & dad opened up their bedroom window becasue it wasn't very hot outside. What they didn't know is that there was NO screen covering the side they opened.

This left the opportunity to sneak out & explore my neighborhood (as an indoor kitty I can only explore the house).

About 4:45 this morning Mom woke up to feed us kitties & realized only 3 of us were eating (I still had not returned from my late night rendezvous). Mom looked high & low for me in all of my usual hiding spots but I couldn't be found!

Finally mom woke dad up & told him I was missing & he too joined the search for me! They checked closets,behind furniture, underneath beds etc. Mom even opened the front door but I still wasn't found!

At long last mom checked the backyard & that's where she found me crouched on the porch! She tried to pick me up but I hissed so she held out her hand & I sniffed her. That's when she picked me up & brought me back in. She told me how I worried her & she continued to pet me & kiss me.

Mom also tried ask me where I went but I wouldn't give that information up . A kitty has to keep some secrets!

It was about that time they realized that their bedroom window only had 1 screen & they opened the wrong side & that is how I escaped. They don't know when I left or how long I was gone but they sure were glad that I was safe & back inside!

I wonder if I can do this again???? Hmmmm, we'll see!

My Pink Nose

Everyday it never fails mom kisses my nose or she'll touch my nose. Then she continues to tell me that she loves my little pink nose. She also tells me that it shows up in my pictures and almost looks as pink as my collar.

I'm not sure why she does this but I don't mind her kissing me but I guess my pink nose makes me stand out more cuz my sister's noses aren't pink. I also guess it's mom's little way of loving on me.

I admit it feels good to hear that mom loves my nose. I start to purr when she comes near to give me hugs and kisses.

So hear's to my pink nose and all the kisses mom can give me because of it!

Our honor defend..we'll fight to the end for OHIO

That's right next Saturday is the start of the Ohio State football season and I'm getting excited! I can't wait to join Mommy and Daddy on the couch as we watch our favorite team kick off their season against Northern Illinois. They will be wearing their jerseys and when I'm a bit bigger they plan on buying me an Ohio State collar...afterall this is the team I was named after. Had I been a boy kitty they would have named after former linebacker AJ Hawk but since I was girl that's how I got named Buckeye.

This is very exciting for me because this is my first college football season and I'm so looking forward to it. Mom has been listening to their fight song and even did her myspace page with an Ohio State background. It's Buckeye Fever (no not me MOM) in our home and I'm caught up in it all!

I've got them wrapped around my paw

The humans that is. I'm completely spoiled by them. What can I say? I'm charming, I'm funny and it doesn't hurt that I'm oh so cute and playful! Then yesterday mom and dad had company over so I got even more spoiled by the visitors! I don't know how many times I heard just how cute I am (as if I'm anything but cute!)

Mom can't believe how big I'm getting. I'm nearly 4 lbs now and as healthy as can be! I'm also what mom calls a little stinker. MOL. I love getting into things but I don't seem to get into that much trouble (unless I'm caught on the dinner table!).

Dad loves when I cuddle with him as he sleeps and I have to admit that I love being petted and kissed and cuddled! I have them wrapped. They can't resist me!

Another day at the Vet

Today was my 2nd trip to the vet and I weigh 3 lbs! I'm also very healthy! Dad took me again because mom was at work but I didn't mind! Life has been good around here I've been playing with my older sisters ...or atleast trying to when they aren't hissing at me!

Last night I slept with mom and slept on her head! She didn't seem to mind except for when she wanted to switch sides.

My first visit to the Vet

Dad took me to the vet this morning because mom had to work. He said I'm very healthy except for some ear mites so I have to stay away from Diva and Belle for a couple of weeks. In the meantime I get to sleep in mom and dad's room and get them all to myself at night!

The vet wasn't so bad atleast thats what dad told mom. I was told that I'm very strong and fiesty for a kitten and I'm in tip top shape. I have to go back in a few weeks for some more shots but I'm sure I'll be just fine. Mom and dad wouldn't do this if they didn't love me right?

My new home

Wow, I just got to a new home! These wonderful people came to see me yesterday at the house I was staying at and wanted to get a new cat. I looked at them and played with them and they couldn't resist my charms! MOL.

Here I am now the youngest of 4 cats! That's why I named my diary what I did. Afterall when your the youngest you have to make yourself heard above your older siblings!

My sister Belle isn't quite sure of me yet.. Diva is still hiding underneath the bed and well Scrappy I'm not sure I'll meet him since he lives with my grandparents!

So far everything seems really nice here!! I'll keep everyone updated!
