The word of the day is Hampede.
Hampede (n.) - what happens when Momma goes to open the kitchen window and hears the thunder of charging pawbeats seconds before Hamlet leaps onto the windowsill.
pawbeat (n.) - the sound of a paw striking a hard surface, like the kitchen floor.
Mol, Hampede is a great word, I might borrow it even though we haven't got a Hamlet cos we all run for the kitchen when the ham comes out.
I do dat! Must be an orange thing?!
So would you call it Ollipede?
Oooh, I like learning new words from you!

Jaffa, you're not alone. Not-the-Momma thought it meant when they bring the bacon and sausage out to the breakfast buffet!
