Momma has been cleaning house and the whole family is majorly stressed out. This week the contractor took down the ceiling, walls, and door in the bathroom. When Momma saw it, she asked him if he could put the door back up first so the cats wouldn't get into the walls. So the door was up when Momma got home that night, but she couldn't find the boys. After much panicking, she found Hamlet in the open bathroom wall. Jack was harder to find - he had climbed up INSIDE the new swivel rocker recliner. So Momma is totally freaked out now. She can't relax and enjoy her new recliner because she's afraid of hurting one of her furkids.
Can someone please tell Momma how to keep the cats OUT from inside the recliner?
I advise selling the recliner or giving it to a non-cat family! See, no more stress!
I like to climb inside the sofa and furniture too. Mom bought some special reapolstering tacks and hammered them into the furniture. I did manage to get a couple off the sofa but for the most part, it worked!
I agree with Hazel Mazel. We have a recliner and the human won't let anyone use it, it's because we will run under it. She doesn't want anyone to loose any tails.
OMC! There used to be a recliner in my house, but I always stayed away from it.
We have a few recliners in our sofa. At first we were curious when Mom used it. She was very very careful when she would close it. Make sure no kitties inside.
As with anything, kitties are curious at first and then it becomes..well, part of the furniture.
We would rather sit on it with Mom then in it or under it.
Hopefully, your furamily will feel be the same way.
