Arrival Story:
My sister owns Teddy's mom, Teddy and his littermates were premies, they were so tiny and nearly completely hairless, my sister had called me because she didn't know what to do so I was there when Teddy was born, of course I didn't know at that time that he would be mine, Teddy was the only bobtail in the litter (their mom was a bobtail). I had recently lost my previous cat and was ready for a new kitty, I had been searching for the perfect cat and wasn't really sure what I was looking for, and of course my sister kept reminding me she had kittens. I know it may sound bad, but grey is just not my favorite cat color so I wasn't sure.
I finally agree to take him on a trial basis, they weren't being very well cared for and by 7 weeks there were only two survivers (out of 5) a male (Teddy) and a female. After the first day I knew he was staying! My sister was not a very good pet owner and I couldn't stand the thought of Teddy having more siblings that weren't cared for so I paid to have his mom spayed.
