Arrival Story:
Stephen and Jamin were two kittens of the first litter I fostered for the Roanoke SPCA. I picked them up May 6, their mom, and three other female kittens. Their mom was very skinny and had run out of milk, so I ended up bottlefeeding the 5 kittens for about 2 weeks until they could eat wet food. Stephen, picked me out from the beginning, when I came in the room, he came a running, he wanted to be with me at all times, at 3 weeks old. The entire litter ended up getting a cold, Stephen got the worst of it, because he would not go to his feline mom, he came to me.
They all got better and it became clear that there was no way I could break his little heart by sending him back to the SPCA to find another family, he would be staying with me. End of story.
