Birthday: November 16th 2001 Coloration: Chocolate Point Likes: He loves his one-on-one time with his mommy, laying on my chest and naps Pet-Peeves: He hates the word no & then there's the fact that he has to live with a houseful of females, YUK. Favorite Toy: Samba, his sister Favorite Nap Spot: On Daddy's pickup, our bed, a high shelf in the bathroom which he insists he can't get to without help from Mom or Dad Favorite Food: When he was little he ate veggies(carrots, peas) but now he mostly likes cat food Skills: He's a talker. indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: Update: Kufu died on Sunday, 4-26-09, all alone, in a cage, at the vet's. We miss him so very much.
Since our first cat, Pooter, was so devoted to her Daddy, I wanted a kitty that could be my baby. So when we heard about a litter of kittens that were ready to go to new homes, we went to look at them. Kufu was the only one that was a snowshoe and he was just so adorable we had to have him. He was a bundle of energy and thought happily that Pooter was his own personal playmate. He would wait behind boxes in the dinning room(we were in the process of moving) and pounce on Pooter when she walked by. She hated him. He was so very funny to watch. He hated being left alone and slept with me every night until Samba moved in. In the new house he would race from one end of the house to the other and then race up his Daddy's pant leg to sit on Daddy's shoulder. He doesn't really like to be picked up, and instead of sitting in your lap, he would rather ride on your shoulder. This was cute and quite acceptable when he was little but he weighs a ton now, so shoulder rides aren't as long as they used to be. Bio: My husband named Kufu after the first Egyptian pharaoh to build a pyramid. When he was just a little guy he was riding in the pickup with us and started to whine intently, he then crawled in my husband's lap and pooped! My husband started calling him Kufu the turd popper. He is extremely nosy and has to check out any box or sack, which makes funny pictures. Hi Boo Boo,
Last night I was sitting on the couch reading. I looked up at the front screen door and there was a kitty face looking in at me. The porch light was off and it was very dark outside. Without being able to see details, it was a dark upper face with a white lower face. For just a second my heart cried, "Kufu" but my mind told me it was Tuxy. I cried and cried. Seeing your little face pop up in that window in the screen door is just one of many things I miss about you not being here with me.
This morning it's chilly outside and just plain dreary. My eyes were swollen when I woke up.
I miss you so much Boo Boo.
I love you,
Mama
Hi Boo Boo,
Last night I had to get off the computer because of an empending storm. But for 2 nights in a row, a potential storm has somehow passed by us........did you request that? Thank you baby boy!
I am getting ready to go take the dogs for a walk......I wish you were here....I would love to carry you on my shoulder.
Before I go I wanted to ask you for a favor. Miles' girlfriend Lily has some siblings who are in need of some special healing angel dust. Their names are, Zack, Harry & Stinky. You are a very smart boy so I'm sure that you have already learned how to send healing angel dust to furbabies in need.
I hope you know how much I love you and miss you. I've gotten some pictures of you printed. Had to go buy some more frames. There are now two large pictures in the living room, one here in the computer room and one in the bedroom. I have one more to put up in the kitchen. I need to be able to see you in all the rooms of the house.
I miss you baby boy.
Love,
Mama
Hi Boo Boo,
The sun came out today and I thought of you, not that I don't already think of you almost all the time. I was wondering if you sent me the sunshine? I'd like to think you did. Thank you baby boy.
Daddy says that we might be getting ready to lose our electricity. There's a storm on the way and the lights have been flickering, so I will have to say goodbye for now. I'll write more to you later. I have a favor to ask of you.
I love you, Mama
