Arrival Story:
I had just graduated college, and one night I went out to a local pet store just to look at what kitties were there. There was just one tiny one left in this big cage, and a sign on the door that said "25% off." The kitten kept staring at me with these huge green eyes, but at the time I wasn't ready to adopt. I was able to leave when I saw a two workers come from the back room with four wet, scraggly looking new kittens, who vaguely resembled gremlins (I love all cats, but these ones looked very odd, especially wet). They put them in the same cage as the "on sale" one and the four gremlins immediately started sniffing and crowded the other one, who kept staring at me with the eyes that said "help!" I couldn't resist at that point, so home with me she went! The next day (the 4th of July) I named her Mitzie!
Bio:
Mitzie was born in harrisonburg, virginia (home of James Madison University). Due to certain traits she has and how much she loves the outside (through our window), I'm pretty sure she was born in the wild before making it to the pet store.
