Seal Point

I love to be petted back-and-forth, not just from head-to-tail. Often, when you do it just right, I will fall down on my side and roll on my back for a tummy rub. I love to nurse on my Mommy. She holds my paws so I don't scratch her.

The Bad Kitty, Chumley! I don't really care for visitors, either, although my curiosity sometimes gets the better of me.

Favorite Toy:
Catnip anything, and real fur mice.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On a pillow on the loveseat, but my real bedroom is in the basement bathroom, where Mommy made me a bed just inside the window.

Favorite Food:
I am a slender and elegant kitty, and food is not my focus.

I can jump to the top of the six-foot bookshelf really fast, using only the stereo speaker as my launching pad. Then I prance around up there on my tippy-toes, and wait to be praised.

Arrival Story:
My first Mommy had me and my brother and sisters in a scary place. We were outside, and there were scary men, doing construction with big loud machines. My brother Misty got sick, and my second Momma, Momma Lisa, brought all of us into her house so she could take care of him. My first Momma was too scared of people to let Momma Lisa take care of her, so I lost her way earlier than I wanted to lose her. At Momma Lisa's house, the Boy gave me my name because of my moustache. Momma Lisa took care of us for a while, but when we kittens started to grow up, Momma Lisa talked to my Forever Momma about us. My Forever Momma didn't think she could take us, because The Big Kitty already lived with her. The Big Kitty was old and sick and crabby. My very first night in my home with my Forever Momma, I woke up in the middle of the night, and I had to go to the litter box. I am a smart boy, and I tried to go where I was supposed to go, but it was too scary. I remember my Forever Momma woke up to see my sister China staring at me, as I pooped right on my Momma's bed! Forever Momma scooped me up and started to take me to the litter box, but we had to go past The Big Kitty, who hissed at us for no good reason. She was the whole reason I couldn't go to the litter box by myself in the first place! She scared me too much! My Forever Momma understood then that I knew what I was supposed to do, but that I was just scared. And Momma has taken care of me ever since then.

I love, love, love my sister China - except when she acts like she's the boss, because she's NOT! - but I still am really nervous around my adopted brother, Chumley. Chumley has lived with us for a year now, and I really hope my Momma doesn't love Chumley better. She couldn't love him better. Could she?
